Dr. Annie Ha received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California-Irvine. She graduated in 2013 from Howard University-College of Dentistry and was student council secretary and also served as the American Student Dental Association Secretary during her time there.
She then completed a general practice residency program at the University of Toledo 2014 in Toledo, Ohio. Since then, Dr. Ha has continued to harness her love for art and science and practice all aspects of dentistry with her favorite ones being cosmetic and oral surgical treatment. In her spare time, Dr. Ha enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Furthermore, Dr. Ha continues to stay abreast of the latest developments in dental technology and clinical practice by actively attending continuing education courses annually. Sheis an active member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Orange County Dental Society.
Dr. Richard Koh was born and raised in the Metro Detroit area of Michigan. Dr. Koh remained in Michigan to receive his B.S. in biology from the University of Michigan. He continued his education at the University of Michigan and earned a D.D.S. in 2007 and Certificate in Periodontology and Masters of Science in 2010. He is also gained Diplomate status (Board-Certified) from the American Board of Periodontology in 2011. He has published in respected periodontal and implant journals and received numerous dental and implant-related awards. Dr. Koh has been caring and treating patients in Southern California (2 years) and Northern Virginia (8 years). Dr. Koh and his family recently moved back to Southern California to live closer to their family. His vision is continual learning, providing utmost care and maintenance for patients, and giving back to the community/profession. Dr. Koh is married and in his spare time he enjoys watching sports, traveling with his family, and being a daddy to his 2 daughters and a newborn son.
Lisa is our office manager and is involved with every aspect of Imperial Smile Dentistry. With over twelve years of experience in the field of dentistry, Lisa brings her wide array of skills to help her team provide the very best care for all our patients. Lisa graduated from Cypress College in 2008 and joined Imperial Smile Dentistry in 2018.
Lisa believes that the mission of Imperial Smile Dentistry is to provide the highest level of care to our patients in a loving and caring environment. With her endless energy and extensive background, Lisa is committed to assisting Dr. Ha and the entire team display their unique talents. When Lisa is away from the office, you will find her caring for her animals and out in the yard gardening.
Claudia is our Registered Dental Hygienist with over 8 years of dental hygiene experience. Claudia believes education is key to ensure success in the prevention of dental diseases. She started working in the dental field at the age of 17! As she says There is nothing else Ill rather do! Claudia enjoys building strong long lasting relationships with her patients, is very compassionate, caring and gentle. She likes to treat her patients as if they were her friends and strives to work on individualizing treatment according to each patients needs. Also, her fluency in Spanish helps her drive an extra mile in treating her patients.
Claudia graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a Bachelors Degree in Health Science and obtained her Dental Hygiene degree from Cypress College in 2012. In the future, her goal is to pursue a Masters Degree in Dental Hygiene and wants to become an educator. Claudia strongly believes that becoming an educator; she will be able to help others achieve their dreams of becoming a hygienist.
During her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her fianc, playing with her two cane corsos, hiking, traveling and being by the water!Claudia always has a smile on her face and holds a positive attitude. She believes educating patients will help them make better decisions for themselves and therefore reach optimal oral health.
What she likes most about her job isthe ability to help patients achieve and maintain the healthy,beautiful smiles they have always wanted. She makes it her personal mission to educate and encourage patients every step of the way.
Erika is always expanding her career,taking continuing education courses on complete oral health, oral cancer,and advanced training with iTero technology.She has a background in assisting with pediatric dentistry and enjoys working with bothadults and kids in our office.
Kelli is the first person you will meet at our office and her passion for helping each patient shows through her bubbly personality and contagious laughter. Kelli graduated with a dental assisting degree from American Career College in 2010. Although she loves assisting, she wanted to explore other area in the dental field and became a treatment coordinator in 2016.

One of the worst dentists I've ever had - I've had a bad dentist before but not as bad as wanting to make sure the world knows how bad this one, Dr Ha, is. & I can explain why. This review is not based on one visit or one bad treatment. Unfortunately for me, I was literally stuck dealing with this establishment: Dr Lim who was my original dentist here sold his practice to the current dentist Dr Ha. I started my Invisalign (this review is not just about my Invisalign) treatment with Dr Lim, and half way through my treatment, the practice got sold to Dr Ha. I don't remember the exact time I had left, but it was around 1 year left until I can stop wearing my Invisalign aligners 20hrs out of the 24hrs per day. I won't bore you with the details, but the 1 year left turned into 2.5 years with Dr Ha - careful, she's really really good at making her patients believe it's never her fault. & I couldn't go anywhere else because she refused to give me back any full or partial refund of the $5,000 or $5,600 I originally paid for the entire Invisalign treatment. (I can't remember the exact amount, but there was a discount & it's irrelevant to this review). Also please pay attention - the other 5 stars reviews are for the previous Dr Lim, & I'm sure she, Dr Ha will run this practice to the ground if she continues to rip off her patients (for lack of better words). During this long wait, I decided to also try her out for regular check ups and any work my teeth needed. I won't mention all the minor issues with her work, but the other major mistake she did with my teeth was telling me I needed a crown on a tooth that actually needed a root canal first (also, careful, she orders her patients' crowns from her dad or a family member's lab, which means your crowns' quality will not necessarily be the best she can get in terms of quality/value because, regardless, she will always order your crown from her dad's lab). After she's done my crown, I kept feeling pain with that same tooth. She convinced me it was the tooth next to it. So I had work done on the neighboring tooth. When the pain persisted, I consulted another dentist, and he told me it was the tooth that she put a crown on that needed a root canal. When I told her about this, she was still convinced (or trying to convince me) she did the right thing but said she can refer me to another dentist for a root canal without taking any blame or responsibility for the time, pain, and unnecessary money I had to spend. My Invisalign treatment was unsuccessful & my bite doesn't close properly. I had another dentist remove the crown she installed & perform a root canal then install a new crown. I knew the entire team that worked at this practice before Dr Ha bought it, & now there is just one person from that previous staff. I'm guessing they either left her because of how she runs her business or she fired them because they won't work well with the malicious/greedy way she intends to run her business. The point I'm trying to make, this Google review rating is not a good representation of the current staff & Dr. BEWARE! Most of the good reviews are for the previous Dr Lim & his amazing staff who no longer work here.

Very courteous and attentive, and I can understand why other patients love this practice for their gentle pampering. However, look at their fancy spa-like office. Where did the money come from? Treatment here is too aggressive, unnecessarily over-ordering tests, treatment and surgeries. I need a conscientious dentist who makes genuine and honest recommendations. Unfortunately, not here. They recommend all kinds of optional surgeries and interventions (braces, mouth guards, crowns, etc) costing many thousands of USD. Received second opinions from two other dentists afterwards who told me they were either not indicated or optional. The bill became couple hundreds instead. Please look beyond the courteous service and fancy office please. This is a doctor's office, not a spa. Professionalism and honesty matter! Response to the business: No it is NOT an incorrect review. You treated a family of mine, and I waited for a year and second opinions to confirm that nobody quoted as many unnecessary procedures as you did before I left this review. Make recommendations based on what your clients need, not what your pocket needs please.

My wife and I were so lucky to have found Dr. Lim and his great staff. From moment we made an appointment for our 2 kids, we couldn't have asked for a more professional, thorough,and kind dental office. Dr. Lim was amazing, very patient, and gave my kids a sense of calm that made the trip all worth it. He made sure my kids were comfortable throughout their visit. I would definitely recommend this clinic. This is a clinic that shows professionalism with a kind heart.

My first time experience at Dr. Lim's office was beyond exceptional. Dr. Lim and his staff are incredibly professional, friendly, and easy to talk to. The office is very clean with top of the line technology. I was called in immediately after walking in. I appreciate the thoroughness and meticulousness of Dr. Lim's examination and explanations. I also got a cleaning by the hygienist there. She took her time and did an amazing job. Overall, I am very impressed by the service provided by Imperial Smile Dentistry and the quality of the staff there.
