Dr, Lou lives in Newton and she received her first DMD from Peking University, the top university in China with highest honor in 1999. Following 3 years residency training in Prosthodontics, she started her PH.D program in the University of HongKong. With higher education and experience, she started her Post-doc life in USA and gained second DMD degree from Boston University. Her publications could be found in many top journals: Science, Nature, Cell, J Dent.
Dr. Lou frequently takes continuing eduction courses to gain the latest techniques and procedures to provide patient best comprehensive care. Dr. Lou is a member of the American Dental Assosiation, the Massachusetts Dental Association, the American Academy Facial Esthetics and International Academy of oral medicine and Toxicity. With high education and more than 20 years experience, she started owning her own office. In her free time, she is a fan of photograph, traveling and painting.

Dr. Xu recieved his BDS from Henan Medical University, China, in 2000. Upon his graduation, he went to Hiroshima University, Japan, for his peridontal training combined with a PhD majored as tissue engineering in perodontal application. After he came to Unitied States, he joined Boston University Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry and recieved his second dental degree (DMD) and periodontal certificate from 2010 to 2015.
Dr. Xu continues to conduct research in tissue engineering applied to the dental field. In addition, he is faculty at Boston University Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry, and leads the schools dental implant research group.

Dr. Yuhe Lu is an orthodontist board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. I felt comfortable and well cared for here. Dr. Lou took good care of my dental needs and was able to put me at ease when I was nervous. She, her dental assistant, and the receptionist are all extremely friendly and kind and do a great job with any dental services you may need!

She takes the time to explain why issues have occurred and what the options are for treatment, taking the time to show what things look like. She's very proactive and her practice professional. My dentist name is Dr. Lou she is so so good. She had to extract a piece of my tooth that was in deep in my gum. I was so scared because I don't like needles and low tolerance of pain. I have had bad experiences with dentist's. She made me feel so comfortable and she was very understanding and gentle. Dr. Lou spoke to me thru the procedure to make sure I wasn't in pain she is a great and very very good dentist she even called me the same night to make sure I was okay and I was. I have been seeing Dr. Lou for a little less than 1 year now. I absolutely love her. She always makes me feel calm and relaxed. She takes the best care of me and is always available. I had a broken filling on Christmas Eve and she opened the office just so that I wouldn't have to go through the holiday in discomfort. She is very good and takes the time to educate her patients.

Dr Lou, cleaned one side of my mouth, but do to her being understaffed, a lot of things she has to handle on her own, which took some time away from me. so we reschedule for a second visit which got canceled because of her front desk worker not being there to open and she herself arrived a little late. Once I spoke to her about my disappointment, she offered me , free of charge, to finish my teeth. The same day. Without distractions from her team. Thank You

Dr Lou is great!! I got 27 units of botox. She is ver gentle and walks you through the entire process. My before and after are incredible. I will be going back for sure. Dont be alarmed my eyes are quite large and scary as well as my hair:) this was 2 days after and my wrinkles were deep. Now I have no lines on my forehead at all.. judgement free Zone!!

Dr. Lou takes practicing dentistry very seriously, and cares about her patients. Her passion for dentistry really drives her to give her patients the quality care they deserve. I know I felt comfortable knowing that she really took the time to talk with me and help better understand the importance about my dental health. UPDATE: I Got my wisdom tooth extracted today by Dr.Lou, and it was the smoothest and cleanest extraction I've have seen yet. And we all know that wisdom teeth extractions army always the best.
