Referred from local dentist to see a specialist for a retreat of 2 failed root canals. I chose this office because they had the soonest opening and they are in close proximity to my home. They gave me the amount the bill would be upfront and I paid in full. The treatment took 4 sessions. Cons: 1:) One appointment was canceled by the doctor so it made it a bit complicated with my work schedule. 2:) I received a bill 2 months after my visit for 300$. The charge was for a test to make sure that my tooth was infected. I had already paid the bill in full. They said something about insurance not covering it. I don't think that was a reasonable charge as my dentist already confirmed this along with X-rays. However, I paid after a back and forth and failed negotiation to disregard the charges. 3:) the dentist made a comment that I will have to rob a bank to fix my teeth. I don't think that was polite or professional. 4:) the dentist talked too much about their personal life. I just wanted my tooth fixed. Too much talk about her family and travel. Pros: They did a nice job on both teeth. I am satisfied with the precision, quality of work and pain free experience.

I received the most exceptional care from Dr. Bakos today. She performed a very intricate root canal (that another endontist was not able to perform) with ease and kept me comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend scheduling with her if you need an endontist. The receptionist is also a very lovely gentleman. I don't like getting dental work done but this place is top notch.

Just had a root canal yesterday and I already feel 90% better. I'll update this after my final x-ray in a few months, but so far the experience was amazing. I never even felt the injections for the anesthesia, and they checked on me regularly to make sure I was okay. I was terrified based on anecdotal evidence provided by family members, but the overall experience so far was wonderful.

Dr. Bakos was SO incredibly sweet, kind, and caring. I had to get a root canal on my last molar on the top (which is probably the WORST tooth to get a root canal on) and she handled it like the lady boss she is! She even let me have a bathroom break in the middle of it when it was safe to do so. i had a root canal when i was a lot younger and it was an awful experience, but my experience with Dr. Bakos I will ALWAYS come back to her because of how great she is. I would rate her 50 stars if i could!!!!

Dr. Bakos was SO incredibly sweet, kind, and caring. I had to get a root canal on my last molar on the top (which is probably the WORST tooth to get a root canal on) and she handled it like the lady boss she is! She even let me have a bathroom break in the middle of it when it was safe to do so. i had a root canal when i was a lot younger and it was an awful experience, but my experience with Dr. Bakos I will ALWAYS come back to her because of how great she is. I would rate her 50 stars if i could!!!!

Dr. Bakos is amazing! I had a very bad abscess develop from a previous root canal (done by another dentist). I was in excruciating pain and she was able to see me the day that I went in to see the dentist. She drained the abscess, started me on antibiotics and I followed up a few days later. She gave me her personal cellphone number with instructions to call if I had any issues or questions. She called me the next afternoon (on a Saturday) to check in on me. Overall, it took a few trips to clear the infection, but I feel confident that I will no longer have any trouble with this tooth. The root canal itself was painless and she asked plenty of times if I was having any discomfort. Her assistants are all very personable and seem to genuinely care. Becky at the front desk was so nice and was amazing at taking care of all the insurance claims and was able to tell me exactly how much I would be responsible for, so there were no surprises. Becky also followed up after every appointment with a phone call to be sure that I did not have any issues or questions. All in all, Dr. Bakos and her team are all top notch and I will recommend her to anyone who is need of an endodontist. Root canals and tooth pain are the worst, but this team makes the experience pleasant!

Besides Paul's terrible bedside manner my experience was great! They ensured I was comfortable as possible for having to have your mouth wide open for over an hour. Definitely recommended and if I ever need a root canal again I know where I'll go! And in case anyone didn't pick up on it the first sentence was a joke! Paul was great and was able to put up with me! Thank You Again!

Woke up out of deep sleep with what I thought was an abscessed tooth. It was an odd day and Dr. Bakos was the first one to return my phone call to various specialists looking for someone to get me out of pain. It turned out to be muscular from grinding or clenching my teeth rather than an abscess. Good news that I didn't have to have a root canal and I was glad Dr. Bakos advised me not to have one. While I waited I was able to enjoy tea from their Keurig machine.

My experience with Dr. Bakos and her staff (especially Chris) was absolutely amazing beyond words. I had terrible, painful complications. Thanks to Dr. Bakos expertise, and her high technology equipment she was able to make a tough determination. She is extraordinary in her practice - top notch, both in terms of what she does and how she does it. She was kind, gentle and explained everything thoroughly. Further, her staff is extraordinary as well. Chris was the best at finding out my benefits and dealing with my insurance company as there were unforeseen complications with my situation. They were spot on in their insurance assessment. They made an awful situation so much better for me by taking care of the insurance so efficiently and communicating to me precisely what would be covered and what would be owed. They made a tough situation so much easier. I cannot say enough about Dr. Bakos and her team. They know what they're doing and go above and beyond in every way. They genuinely care.

Dr. Bakos came in on a Saturday to check my tooth. She was the only one who responded to my calls when I woke up out of sleep with what felt like a lower abscessed tooth. (We later determined it was probably muscular from TMJ and bruxism, so there wasn't much Dr. Bakos could do to fix it other than refer me to Dr. Moodt.) But I still appreciate so much that she responded and came in to her office to check it for me.

Dr. Bakos is wonderful! I was in terrible pain and her staff got me right in and took care of everything. Very kind and caring staff, I'm a chicken with regular dentists but her professional staff and skill put me at ease.

Dr. Bakos did a FANTASTIC job on two of my teeth! I was referred to her by my Periodontal Specialist, Dr. Constantin Farah, and I couldn't be Happier that I took his advice on going to see her! Dr. Bakos is very knowledgeable and thoroughly explains everything to you, prior to beginning each procedure. She also takes the time to answer any questions you have. That said, she is also VERY patient, kind, and gentle. I myself, found that these qualities made ALL the difference in the world, being that I have (or rather, I "Used To" have) extremely high anxiety & a great deal of fear, when it came to having anything done inside my mouth-- resulting from a VERY traumatic childhood experience I had at the dentist overseas, many years ago. All in all, I'm pretty much one of those patients, who can tolerate nothing less than the best, when it comes to any form of dentistry (i.e.; to me, "the best", entails a person who makes me feel like I'm in good hands... AND mostly, one who can perform an entire procedure WITHOUT my feeling ANY pain, whatsoever). After the 1st appointment, in which I had my first root canal procedure, I was beyond Amazed at how fast, smooth, and PAIN-FREE it was. I should mention here that my two procedures were each completed in one appointment (only taking around 1.5 hours ea., give or take). While some may not be as fortunate I, in having their entire R.C. process done within one day (as I've learned that some root canal procedures can take multiple appointments for various reasons... you can google the details); whatever your circumstance, in my opinion, Dr. Bakos is the BEST choice if your in need of an Endodontist. Aside from my past experience, I've heard & read horror stories from tons of people, concerning root canals. However, my experience was quite the opposite! Dr. Bakos numbed me up so well that I DIDN'T FEEL A THING! TRUTHFULLY! Getting back into the chair upon my 2nd appt.; which rolled around the following week-- I felt completely different, making me a "totally different person", overall! No more feeling terrified, nor any more violent trembling, as before. Instead, I was completely relaxed & READY to go, in getting my 2nd root canal done! I personally owe this transformation to Dr. Bakos... Honestly! If it were not for her exceptional professional and mechanical skills, as well as for how personable she was; I likely would have either wound up being even more afraid & anxiety-ridden then I was prior to seeing her... or may not have even been able to get through/ finish the first root canal. That alone, says 1000 words. To top off a great experience "during" the process... the "aftermath" went just as well! I had zero pain aside from a mild ache, which went away quickly with one dose of general Tylenol. So... a Great Big, BIG THANK YOU to Dr. Bakos for Everything! Lastly, I wanted to be sure to include the other "GOOD Stuff": the other members of her team, Chris & Paul, were AWESOME! Chris (whom was the first person I had any contact with- via phone) was exceptional at her job. She was kind & explained in detail everything, in terms of financial matters, costs, & insurance coverage... more so, she took time to follow up/& find out some things concerning coverage, without my asking... Very helpful! So, rest assured- aside from getting great work done, the financial portion & any administrative issues will also go as smoothly as possible. --THANK YOU, so much Chris! Paul, who took x-rays & assisted Dr. Bakos during both procedures, was GREAT! He was very personable and kind, making me feel comfortable and helped in calming me. --THANK YOU, Paul! *To sum it all up: I definitely give Dr. Bakos & her team 5++ STARS! I only have pros to list & I will definitely recommend her to any/ all I know or hear of, who are in need of an endodontist! If you're searching for an GREAT Endodontist, PLEASE do yourself a big favor... GO TO Dr. Bakos. You'll be so very thankful you did in the end!
