Kids Pediatric dentistry has dedicated itself to the children and parents they serve as well as to the communities. iKids philanthropic style has set the stage since their winter opening in 2009. From partnering with Disney and the American Heart Association, to creating partners in education with the local school districts, to sponsoring cities, and communities, iKids wholeheartedly believes that everyone can make a difference in this world.

An example of different ways iKids contributes is providing Tooth Fairy presentations and dental presentations for schools, head start programs, day cares, apartment after school programs and hospital events. iKids has donated to Mission Arlington for free dentistry. We have donated toothbrushes, floss, and toothpaste to orphanages, churches, and Operation Christmas Child. We have also put on fundraising events for Cook Childrens, Toys for Tots, and the Burleson Fire and Police Department.

The entire team at iKids Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is fully committed to all the communities we serve. Please contact our event manager if you would like us to attend your next event. We will even bring the tooth fairy with us!

The staff is amazing. We had an emergency at my office and needed to get a patient in and they worked with us every step of the way. Janell the office manager is caring and so great at what she does. So many people don't understand dentistry, insurance , or how much work it takes to work with Medicaid , but if you go to this office I guarantee you have a person that is an expert.

I switched my kids here in March and I'm so glad I did. They all want to make sure that both of my kids have the best experience each time. My kids were worried it would be like the last experience they had and were very skeptical about fully commuting to procedures because they didn't trust it would be OK. On their 2nd visit, my son did 100% of his appointment and my daughter did about 70%. No one made her feel bad and instead wanted to make sure she felt comfortable at every stage. I would highly recommend ikids Mansfield to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Almost never answer the phone. Keep on hold for a very long time then disconnects. Very limited appointments. No I emergency appointments available when experiencing a dental emergency (even though it's mentioned on recording when on hold). They also change appointment times last minute without notification/consent/reason. Dentist is great but other staff is terrible. Really need some training on how to treat people when working in medical field. They weren't always this bad but have progressively gotten worse about everything. Seems like these recent 5 star reviews with no comments may not be real patients and just an attempt to bring up rating.

Visit went great for my big kid and staff was really friendly and helpful. Makes the visit go smoothly while waiting with a toddler (theater room is a win).

Front receptionist people are something to be left desired. On the other hand the dr and dental hygienist are amazing. They have been working with my two kids who have autism. Also, making walk in visits for my youngest to get her acclimated to her environment and work with being used to seeing them. She actually let them clean her teeth today and my oldest went to the big kid side and the hygienist made sure she test out all the tools before approaching her. It was awesome!

Nice location. Friendly staff. I paid $130.00 upfront for my 6 yr old to be seen for pain. Just to find out it's only a cavity. The out of pocket cost to get a filling $507 (Self Pay). The $130 is not applied towards the procedure. No payment plans are offered. Very costly for a baby tooth. We are new Texas residents currently waiting to be approved for CHIP. Once a child is found otherwise eligible for CHIP, the coverage start date of CHIP is 90 days (three calendar months) after the last month in which the child was covered by private health insurance. No one had knowledge of this information. Maybe it could've worked out if payment plans were offered or someone knew more about this type of situation? It's seems the business is more concerned about money than taking care of patients.

I've brought my kids here since they were around three years old. In the beginning, the office was great. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, always answered their phones, and never rescheduled on me. Within the last two years, this office has really fallen apart. My youngest son had an appointment for sedation that's been rescheduled three times (since May) because the doctor they have isn't in-network with his insurance. The most recent time they rescheduled, was because the doctor they would have isn't able to do sedation (which is terrifying because all dentists should know how and be qualified to do sedation). When I asked if they'd be able to guarantee a doctor who's in-network with his insurance this time, I was told, "No, we never know what doctor is going to be scheduled and we may have to reschedule the appointment again." Two of my sons were supposed to be fitted for a device in November 2021, the office was supposed to put in a pre-authorization request, and I called for months, leaving voicemails that went unreturned, only to find out at their next six month check up (because I never did get a call back in regard to it) they'd switched systems and forgotten to put the pre-authorization in. One of my sons has a space maintainer I was told needs to be upgraded to a bigger one, only to go in today and have a different doctor tell me if he were to pull out the one he has in now, he could do some serious damage to my sons mouth. The discrepancies between doctors, the absolute disaster with scheduling, the girls at the front desk always gossiping and bad mouthing parents on the phone, is ridiculous, but after today I no longer feel my children are safe at this practice and we will never return to an iKids office.

This is a great dentistry for younger children. The staff and the dentist are always attentive to my children's comfort.

I don't know what has happened to this location but the front desk person is incompetent and slow. The hold times are ridiculous and my child will be receiving services somewhere else that has knowledgeable staff.

Where to start!!!! So I called The office and "Abigail" answered. I proceeded to ask some questions in witch she answered briefly... And based off that I will not be taking my children their.

We had a routine cleaning scheduled for over a month and we go in for this appointment (20 minutes early) and was told that the dentist who takes our insurance is not in the office today so they couldn't see my child. I took off work early, picked my child up from school early and drove 20 minutes to this place. The lady at the front desk acted as if nothing was wrong with this situation and asked if we could come in the next morning.... ummmm WHAT?! I work! My kid is in school! And you want to ask if i can come in the next morning when the appointment I already had scheduled was at 4 in the afternoon? No commen sense. Why was I not called in advanced? Why did they confirm my appointment just a few days ago? Incredibly inconsiderate.

(Translated by Google) The worst in Attention! An hour and a half waiting for nothing! I never go back to that place. Before it was very different and now it is fatal. They don't help you even when you can't fill out the information or requests they ask you for online. They do not help you to fill them out on paper. Very bad service. It's what happens when you have excess patients. To cover more. They look bad with their patients for years. I know I will find better care elsewhere! My son's appointment was at 2:00 pm and I arrived 15 minutes before 3:24 I left and the appointment was not attended (Original) Lo peor en Atencion!

Horrible experience. The front desk lady ... lighter skin with braids was completely incompetent and rude . Obviously didn't know what she was doing . Doesn't seem to have the skills for her job but in the climate I guess offices hire whoever badly needs the job . The office itself wasn't super clean I glad we walked out cause I wouldn't have wanted them to lay a finger on my children . Don't walk from this place RUN

Do not take your kids here! They're too busy for individualized care. I had heard good things but have been disappointed the last two times I went. Today was the last straw. I had scheduled surgery for my child, took the day off, got there early and after waiting 40 minures was finally called back and told they can't do the surgery. Something they could have told me last week, or even when I arrived 40 minutes ago. Mind you, the surgery was scheduled a month ago. They had no paperwork for me. They have a new system and just wasted my time. Plus made me feel super uncomfortable telling personal information with others right there. No privacy. HIPAA violation. I will be going elsewhere . Don't trust them.
