In response to Al "Alfil" Fil : This site is to review the dentist, not to rant about insurance issues. I saw Dr. Danko Tuesday for a consult. He was nice, and his staff was nice. I plan on going back.

My daughter went to have her impacted wisdom teeth out in June 14, 2021. Jody, Dr. Danko's office manager said that she will contact the insurance first to let us know the portion not paid for an in network doctor that we will be responsible for. She did not get the estimate. On the day of the surgery, she said it will be done after the procedure. She said we had to pay $1,055 up front and they will reimburse after she filed the insurance. She took forever to file the claim. Then she did not send the x-rays to the insurance that the insurance needed to process the claim. After calling the insurance, we had to call her to send the x-rays. After waiting 3 months for the insurance to process the claim due to Jody's incompetence, Danko's office was reimbursed on Sept. 11, 2021. Now they owe us money which she is telling us we have to wait another 30 days to get paid. In addition, she used the incorrect procedure code, so the insurance denied an item on the claim. In addition, they used therapeutic drugs which is not covered at all by the insurance. Danko nor his staff informed us that insurance does not pay for therapeutic drugs. I insisted that I wanted to talk to Dr. Danko. Jody refused to give him the message. She kept talking over me when I tried to explain and to have her correct the claim form. Please do not go to this doctor for any procedure. Poor service and exorbitant prices. Jody should be fired for treating customers in this manner.

I had to go here for an extraction since my dentist was out of the office. I'm extremely anxious about dental work and felt like the bedside manner was extremely lacking. It felt like they wanted me out as quick as possible and were unconcerned when I voiced my fear because I've never had an extraction and suffer from anxiety. I would never go back but I will say the actual extraction was quick and he is very skilled. If you are unafraid of dental work, this is a good place to go.

Dr. Danko and his staff was wonderful with my son when he got his wisdom teeth out. Dr. Danko even called the next day to see how he was doing. We would recommend his office to anyone who needs an oral surgeon.

I first visited Doctor Danko's practice over ten years ago. This was shortly after another practitioner had unsuccessfully performed a procedure on me, leaving my dental issue completely unresolved. During that first visit, Doctor Danko assessed my situation, clearly explained it to me, and addressed all my concerns. Doctor Danko had to basically re-perform the previous doctor's entire procedure (over the course of my next few visits). When he was finished, I was not only completely satisfied with the result, but also struck by the difference between the treatment I received from Dr. Danko and that of the former practitioner. I was so impressed with Dr. Danko's quality of care, professionalism, communication, and overall demeanor, that I have been his patient ever since. Over the past 10 + years, Doctor Danko has performed many procedures on me, and I have always had a totally positive outcome. I feel the same way about Doctor Danko's staff, who are all highly skilled, efficient, and extremely welcoming. I strongly recommend Dr. Danko's practice to anyone in need of a DDS.
