John Ifantis, DDS A New York native, Dr. Ifantis grew up in Bayside Queens. He attended St. Johns University in Jamaica Queens, New York, where he received his bachelors degree in biology. He thenattended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Ifantis has proudly served the dental care needs of the Chicagoland area for over 20 years. Prior to establishing his practice in Morton Grove in 2005, Dr. Ifantis completed hundreds of hours in postgraduate dentistry, including advanced training under world-renowned leaders in dental implants, orthodontics, endodontics, microscopy, laser dentistry and sleep apnea. Monika Singh, DDS A Morton Grove native, Dr. Monika Singh graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois, where she proudly created an integrated bio physics lab course that is still offered today. She then attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she graduated with honors and was accepted as a Rural Oral Health Fellow as part of their advanced training program. Throughout this program, she was trained to treat a wide variety of patients with complex dental needs. This program entails additional education and clinical experience in the fields of endodontics, oral surgery, fixed and removable prosthodontics, and extensive restorative dentistry. Dr. Singh is a member of the following organizations:
Dr. Singh also has a strong passion for giving back to the community and continues to participate in outreach programs. Committed to providing the greatest care possible for her patients, she continues to learn new techniques, research and technology through postdoctoral training.
Eleni Office Manager Eleni was raised in Morton Grove and is proud to have the ability to work in a community she cares so deeply for. She obtained her bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and her masters degree in healthcare administration with a focus in gerontology from Roosevelt University. Eleni spent the majority of her adult career working in various leadership roles within the long-term healthcare field. Prior to joining the Ifantis Dental Careteam in 2014, Eleni worked for the Greek American Rehabilitation and Care Center for thirteen years, eight of which she functioned as the Nursing Home Administrator.
Eleni is passionate about working in the healthcare field and finds great joy in contributing to the improvement of a patients dental health and smile. Eleni is proud of the work she has done to positively impact Ifantis Dental Care. Eleni enjoys traveling, reading, being a soccer and ballet mom for her two children, George and Anastasia, and spending quality time with her family.
Maribel Financial Coordinator Maribel has worked in the dental field for over twenty years in various roles. Her many years of experience have given her a great understanding and appreciation for dental health that she enjoys sharing with our patients. Maribel truly enjoys the opportunity to work closely with patients; it brings her great personal fulfillment to provide dental services while establishing trusting relationships with patients. Maribel loves spending time with her son, twin daughters, and three Shih Tzu dogs. In her spare time, Maribel enjoys playing pool, softball, and going bowling.
Susan Scheduling Coordinator Susan has been a part of the Ifantis Dental Care team since May 2018, and she has been in dentistry for over 20 years! Susan has completed multiple college courses in healthcare and brings her excellent customer service and organizational skills to the office every day. She loves the family-like atmosphere and team environment of our office.
Susan is married to her childhood sweetheart, and together, they have two children, two dogs and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys sewing, watching reality TV, spending time with her kids and caring for her vegetable garden.
Kasia Dental Hygienist Originally from Poland, Kasia moved to Chicago 12 years ago. Kasia graduated from Harper College in 2009 with an Associate of Science degree in dental hygiene and has worked for Dr. John Ifantis since then. Kasias love of dental hygiene fuels her desire to provide an important service to our patients. She enjoys the opportunity to help our patients understand why complete oral care is beneficial to their overall health. Kasia and her husband, Tomek, live in Glenview along with their kids, Alex, Max, and Leo. In her free time, Kasia enjoys spending time with her family, arts and crafts, and DIY projects.
Bonnie Registered Dental Hygienist Bonnie loves our patients and has been working with our team since July 2016. She has completed degrees in dental hygiene and health care management at Southern Illinois University, and she is an official certified dental assistant. Bonnie loves what she does, which includes education our patients and helping them maintain healthy smiles for life.
Penny Dental Assistant Penny was born and raised in Greece and moved to the United States in 2000. Penny lives in Glenview with her husband, Jimmy, and her son, Sam. Penny joined Ifantis Dental Care as a dental assistant in 2014. She is very passionate about dental assisting and eagerly strives to enhance her knowledge in new techniques, technologies, and advances in dentistry. Penny also enjoys bringing comfort to her patients while developing a trusting relationship. Her ultimate goal is to ensure that patients are comfortable and confident that we will provide them with the best dental experience. When she isnt working to improve your oral health, Penny likesto cook, play sports with her son, and work out. Penny looks forward to seeing you at Ifantis Dental Care!
Merna Dental Assistant Merna completed her dental hygiene education in Sweden, where she worked as a hygienist for a year before moving to the U.S. in 2018 and joining Ifantis Dental Care in 2019. She works well in a team and contributes her excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Jann Dental Assistant Jan joined our team in 2021, and she already loves it here! She considers the Ifantis Dental Care team to be a second family, and her eagerness to grow and learn alongside an amazing team has made her a valuable asset to the office. After six years of experience in the dental field, Jann has landed in dental heaven!

Dr. Monika Singh did a great job with my dental procedure. She took her time explaining in detail the procedure and answered any questions/concerns I had prior to starting the work. I was at ease during the procedure and came out with great results. Overall, Im satisfied with Dr. Singh's professionalism and care and the quality of service at Ifantis.

Great dental office and professional team. Dr. Monika Singh is an excellent doctor. I recently got a crown, fillings done wit her and she did a tremendous job. My crown looks very good and it feels pretty good. Definitely a good dental place to consider.

I am so upset at the fact I allowed myself to get scammed by this dentist. After seeing previous bad reviews about fraud I just didn't read into it too much but after 3 visits I quickly realized it was all true. He wants to give me 2 crowns and fix 6 cavities that didn't even exist! I went to my orthodontist after the 2nd visit and he was very alarmed that he expressed I needed any of this. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY OR HEALTH HERE

I should have listened to friends and family when I was told not to come to Dr. Infantis. It's all about the money before the service. I came here to have my teeth straightened. After the first phase, one day Dr. Infantis tells me "Well, what do you think?" as he hands me a mirror. I asked, "ummm I'm a little confused. Are you asking what I think of my teeth? As in this is my last appointment?" He said "yes" with a smile. I replied, "But my teeth are not straight." Dr. Infantis says, "I mean...they're straight-er." I said, " I didn't pay for straight-er, I paid for straight PERIOD." He then asked if I gave him a couple thousand dollars more he can make my teeth straight. I said I don't understand as I paid the full amount to receive perfectly straight teeth which is what I was promised during my first consultation as well as a built in retainer once complete. Dr. Infantis then checked with Susan at his front desk and in fact verified that I paid more than he thought. He apologized and continued the process. At another appointment that I went to, towards the end he was using a cotton ball to clean off my face from some work he did. He kept heavily rubbing on a spot on my face, which began burning and was hurting, him thinking it was dirty but it was an imperfection in my skin, a dark spot. What he did hurt and made me feel very self-conscious. I started questioning his vision if it was somewhat impaired because another appointment Dr. Infantis said I had about 7-10 cavities that I needed to take care of asap. He also kept pressuring me to get my teeth cleaned by him as well. Because he's expensive, I decided to go to a different dentist for a teeth cleaning and get a second opinion on my teeth. The other dentist said I do not have any cavities, not even one! Thank goodness I went to receive a second opinion. This was a HUGE red flag for me. I then recognized that my dentist made me promises he was never planning to keep but just wanted to lock me in and try to scam me out of more money later. I felt very uncomfortable and taken advantage of. After that I had decided to discontinue the process as I wasn't receiving results and no longer trusted Dr. Infantis. I stopped making appointments, and after some time I made an appointment to have the buttons removed from my teeth that he installed at the very least. As they called me into a room and I was laying in the seat until Dr. Infantis arrived, he begins to insult me pointing his finger in my face stating I make multiple appointments and never show up. I told him he was completely false and I have never "No Showed" to an appointment and he made me cry and humiliated me. I went to speak to his front desk girls and they verified once again that he misunderstood and I have always shown up to my appointments but that I stopped making them. I expressed that I stopped making appointments because I was not receiving the service that was promised to me , I lost trust in the doctor and I just wanted to be done with him. He also promised he would add a built in retainer which I paid for and did not receive. I was supposed to receive a call back 2 weeks ago to give me a partial refund for the services I was not provided, yet I paid for. I have not received any communication, not a call, text, or email. They last told me the Finance person who handles the books needed to look at things, which is Dr. infantis's wife. Save your money, your time, your teeth and go somewhere else. I am very disturbed, traumatized and hurt by this experience.

This dentist is a complete fraud. He will use some fancy looking tech to try to convince you that you need fillings, root canals, crowns, anything to make a buck. There is a recent article in the Atlantic about these kinds of dentists. They do an egregious amount of procedures, almost all of which aren't needed. Thank goodness I went to another dentist for a second opinion. Ifantis said I needed nearly 10 fillings. Just absolutely absurd.

I've been here like 4-5 years ago and still super disappointed about this experience . They was nice I'm not gonna lie , but your treatment is -10 stars . Every professional dentist trying to save every single tooth , especially if its young person 23 y.o. This Infatis pulled out 2 of my teeth 1 because what he said "it was infection " and while my mouth was bleeding he decides to pulled another one !!! What can I say during sitting in dentist chair with full of blood in my mouth , I agreed and this is was a huuuuuugeee mistake . Guys keep every single tooth you got , no matter what a good dentis ALWAYS WILL TRY TO SAVE YOU TOOTH !!!! INFANTIS I wish you to have the same dentist like you are , you are horrible , fix the teeth DON't remove them right away , you are horrible have nothing else to say , just because it was the WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE I WOULD NEVER FORGET THIS !!!and believe me I have so many crowns and so many fillings a lot . But this is the first time I made a huge mistake . :((( -20 stars
