John Ifantis, DDS A New York native, Dr. Ifantis grew up in Bayside Queens. He attended St. Johns University in Jamaica Queens, New York, where he received his bachelors degree in biology. He thenattended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Ifantis has proudly served the dental care needs of the Chicagoland area for over 20 years. Prior to establishing his practice in Morton Grove in 2005, Dr. Ifantis completed hundreds of hours in postgraduate dentistry, including advanced training under world-renowned leaders in dental implants, orthodontics, endodontics, microscopy, laser dentistry and sleep apnea. He is dedicated to the newest advancements in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and he stays up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.Dr. Ifantis is a member of the following organizations:
When Dr. Ifantis is not practicing his passion of dentistry, he spends most of his time with his wife and children. Whether hes coaching his childrens sports teams, golfing, playing soccer, or riding his motorcycle, he always finds the time to give back to the community and various charitable organizations. Monika Singh, DDS A Morton Grove native, Dr. Monika Singh graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois, where she proudly created an integrated bio physics lab course that is still offered today. She then attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she graduated with honors and was accepted as a Rural Oral Health Fellow as part of their advanced training program. Throughout this program, she was trained to treat a wide variety of patients with complex dental needs. This program entails additional education and clinical experience in the fields of endodontics, oral surgery, fixed and removable prosthodontics, and extensive restorative dentistry. Dr. Singh also has a strong passion for giving back to the community and continues to participate in outreach programs. Committed to providing the greatest care possible for her patients, she continues to learn new techniques, research and technology through postdoctoral training.
Eleni Office Manager Eleni was raised in Morton Grove and is proud to have the ability to work in a community she cares so deeply for. She obtained her bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and her masters degree in healthcare administration with a focus in gerontology from Roosevelt University. Eleni spent the majority of her adult career working in various leadership roles within the long-term healthcare field. Prior to joining the Ifantis Dental Careteam in 2014, Eleni worked for the Greek American Rehabilitation and Care Center for thirteen years, eight of which she functioned as the Nursing Home Administrator.
Eleni is passionate about working in the healthcare field and finds great joy in contributing to the improvement of a patients dental health and smile. Eleni is proud of the work she has done to positively impact Ifantis Dental Care. Eleni enjoys traveling, reading, being a soccer and ballet mom for her two children, George and Anastasia, and spending quality time with her family.
Maribel Financial Coordinator Maribel has worked in the dental field for over twenty years in various roles. Her many years of experience have given her a great understanding and appreciation for dental health that she enjoys sharing with our patients. Maribel truly enjoys the opportunity to work closely with patients; it brings her great personal fulfillment to provide dental services while establishing trusting relationships with patients. Maribel loves spending time with her son, twin daughters, and three Shih Tzu dogs. In her spare time, Maribel enjoys playing pool, softball, and going bowling.
Susan Scheduling Coordinator Susan has been a part of the Ifantis Dental Care team since May 2018, and she has been in dentistry for over 20 years! Susan has completed multiple college courses in healthcare and brings her excellent customer service and organizational skills to the office every day. She loves the family-like atmosphere and team environment of our office.
Susan is married to her childhood sweetheart, and together, they have two children, two dogs and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys sewing, watching reality TV, spending time with her kids and caring for her vegetable garden.
Kasia Dental Hygienist Originally from Poland, Kasia moved to Chicago 12 years ago. Kasia graduated from Harper College in 2009 with an Associate of Science degree in dental hygiene and has worked for Dr. John Ifantis since then. Kasias love of dental hygiene fuels her desire to provide an important service to our patients. She enjoys the opportunity to help our patients understand why complete oral care is beneficial to their overall health. Kasia and her husband, Tomek, live in Glenview along with their kids, Alex, Max, and Leo. In her free time, Kasia enjoys spending time with her family, arts and crafts, and DIY projects.
Bonnie Registered Dental Hygienist Bonnie loves our patients and has been working with our team since July 2016. She has completed degrees in dental hygiene and health care management at Southern Illinois University, and she is an official certified dental assistant. Bonnie loves what she does, which includes education our patients and helping them maintain healthy smiles for life.
Penny Dental Assistant Penny was born and raised in Greece and moved to the United States in 2000. Penny lives in Glenview with her husband, Jimmy, and her son, Sam. Penny joined Ifantis Dental Care as a dental assistant in 2014. She is very passionate about dental assisting and eagerly strives to enhance her knowledge in new techniques, technologies, and advances in dentistry. Penny also enjoys bringing comfort to her patients while developing a trusting relationship. Her ultimate goal is to ensure that patients are comfortable and confident that we will provide them with the best dental experience. When she isnt working to improve your oral health, Penny likesto cook, play sports with her son, and work out. Penny looks forward to seeing you at Ifantis Dental Care!
Merna Dental Assistant Merna completed her dental hygiene education in Sweden, where she worked as a hygienist for a year before moving to the U.S. in 2018 and joining Ifantis Dental Care in 2019. She works well in a team and contributes her excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Jann Dental Assistant Jan joined our team in 2021, and she already loves it here! She considers the Ifantis Dental Care team to be a second family, and her eagerness to grow and learn alongside an amazing team has made her a valuable asset to the office. After six years of experience in the dental field, Jann has landed in dental heaven!
