Dr. Michael Stosich is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He also serves as the Director of Orthodontics at the University of Chicago and Comer Childrens Hospital. Dr. Stosich is a leader in patient care, serving patients in Grayslake, Gurnee as well as Kenilworth, Wilmette, Chicago and abroad. Dr. Stosich has published and lectured throughout the U.S. and abroad. No idea how the employees respect this guy. Terrible experience. Stay away if you want a good result. He rushed through the braces procedure and lied on numerous occasions. Fake nice to take your money. If you want to pay an overpriced cost for lackluster service, this is the place.

Found this clinic through a Groupon which gave a "$2,000 credit" towards orthodontic treatment. The coordinator did an extensive calculation in order to come up with the final cost being $4,000 for metal braces. I was initially told the treatment would take 12-15 months and that made me nervous about having to wear braces for that long. In order to convince me to sign the paperwork, the doctor then stated that I would actually only have to wear them for 6-8 months. I was excited to see the time cut down in half and signed the paperwork.(This was a red flag as braces do take considerable time. Most of my friends with perfectly aligned teeth wore braces for an average of 3 years, this was just too good to be true). The lady that manages the payments is fake nice and can get snappy and rude at many occasions. I messaged the doctor about this but there was absolutely no apology from his side and his response was that I would just have to "deal with her". I was pretty surprised by the level of arrogance and disregard. After 9 months my braces were going to be removed, I discussed my concerns as I could still see my front two teeth were still overlapping each other and I asked if I could extend the duration of my treatment to get them straightened and aligned. The Doctor assured me that there was no need for extending the treatment and that I was ready to have the braces off. I am pretty upset about not having straightened front teeth as they are the most visible when smiling.This place is highly rated on Google (which is why I decided to go here) but the reality is that they provide you $10 cash for giving a 5 star review! Overall I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

It's really sad how a dental office can take advantage of their patients in a time like this. This office only cares about how much money they can milk out of you! Please find a place that actually cares about your concerns. Don't think they will honor any guarantees they offer you! Make sure you get everything in writing or they will take full advantage of you! Unfortunately, I spent a lot of money here for braces and I chose them for their 100% smile guarantee program. Where it states on their website that if you EVER need braces again after a full treatment they would replace the braces free of charge, just a nominal fee for adjustments. Well, if you ever need to use that guarantee, they will deny ever even having one! Then they'll try to trick you into paying for another treatment. If you say anything about it they will drop you as a patient. Another review spoke about the fake reviews and I agree. I do believe they fake a lot of their reviews in order to look better than the service they provide. Please go to a better orthodontist. This one only cares about the bucks!

Wonderful experience throughout my two years being here. All the staff are super nice and welcoming. Appointments were very quick. Dr. Stosich is an excellent doctor who was able to get my teeth straightened in 2 years and is such a nice and approachable guy.

As a adult you are nervous about getting braces. From start and finish I've had a awesome experience here. They make you feel comfortable and at ease. I hated going to the dentist but not anymore. Don't waste your time!! The doctor is a liar. And after all the years I've been coming there with my kids?! He told me my insurance wouldn't cover my daughters braces and wanted to charge me $6000. I took my daughter to Orthodontic Experts in Skokie. My insurance is covering her braces in full. I could not be happier!! I just wish I would have gone to Orthodontic Experts for both of my daughters. Also, don't apply to be one of his "assistants" unless you're a white female that looks like you're in high school, blondes preferred. Look at the pictures he has up.
