I have severe dental anxiety and had to have my tooth extracted today. Dr. Ham and her assistant were amazing! She removed my tooth in what felt like under a minute and it was completely painless. The front desk is also very nice and helpful. My experience with Ideal Smile Dentistry has eased some of my fears and I already scheduled my next appointment with them!

Horrible experience with the receptionist, Rose. My appointment was rescheduled, due to an emergency, which I get. The issue is Rose and her disrespectful tone. My experience with the Dentist and Hygienist were good; however, if the people running the front are not kind and do not know how to treat people then it's not worth it to me. Ten out of ten, do not recommend.

Dr Ham and all her staff are the best! I am always treated freindly and with respect as soon as I walk in. Dr. Ham has performed several procedures for me, all were done painlessly and expertly. The admin staff, hygenist and assistant are the best in the business.

Dr. Jae Ham has been my dentist for over a decade and my oral health has been getting better. Before I went to Dr. Ham, some dentists examined my teeth with their eyes and told me my teeth were fine with no cavities. Some did take x-rays but never explained them to me or told me not to worry about small cavities. Then after a few months or a year, I would feel sharp pains in my teeth. I also had a chipped tooth in the front that no other dentist suggesting fixing. I did have a few dentists in Los Angeles and Chicago in the past who cared of my oral heath. I had more than dozen dentists and visited many over 50 years. When I came to Dr. Ham, the first thing she did was to take x-rays of my teeth. She showed me the gray or dark area in my teeth were damaged by cavities. She also showed me how healthy teeth appear on the x-rays. She explained to me that some internal cavities and small cavaties are hard to see without x-rays. Open cavities can be easily seen, but x-ray will show how deep the cavities are. Over the years, I came to the realization that Dr. Ham sincerely believes that early detection of problems like cavities are more cost effective for her patients. If the early problems are detected and treated, it would save a lot of money for the patients later down the road. It can lead to costly root canal and other dental treatments if not treated. Prolonged problems can also damage one's brain and heart if left untreated. Dr. Ham takes x-rays during my visit to her office to see how I'm coming along. As far as I know, Dr. Ham welcomes second opinions from other dentists. Dr. Ham told me that she wants her patients to make the best decisions for themselves based on all the available facts. After the recommendations from Dr. Ham, it is up to me to make decisions which treatment I need and which is urgent for me. She never pressured me to choose any treatment, but she only gives me the recommendations for me to decide. During the last couple of visits, Dr. Ham have told me my teeth looked great and I didn't have any cavities. That seems to be very good news. Also, I have not had any pain in my teeth for years, except for the time I chewed on a nut and cracked my molar. Dr Ham fixed that tooth too. Dr. Ham also fixed my chipped front tooth. It took some time to fix it, and Dr. Ham made it look good (no extra charge for making it look attractive). Happy New Year and thank you Dr. Ham. Dr. Ham served our country by enlisting in the U.S. Army and served as an U.S. Army dentist. She also served our community during the Covid pandemic by treating patients. I also wanted to bless you with a prayer. May the Lord bless thee, and keep thee. The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee. The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. Numbers 6:24-26

Unfortunately I can't give it zero stars. I want to start by saying that the staff was very nice and friendly to me,the problem here was the fact that I waited oven an hour to be seen for my appointment, and when I was finally seen by Doctor Jae Ham I was met with an uncanny rudness. She was rough while examining me,gave me a dental plan for things I don't need to have done and left the room without saying goodbye.I have an history of maxyllary surgeries and dental procedures, never have I met a dentist nor doctor whom have made me feel this uncomfortable before. I don't reccomend this place to no one.

I had a tooth extracted here a couple weeks ago and tomorrow I am having 2 more removed here. The dentist I see here is a woman. She is very kind and patient. I have high anxiety but I trusted her from my first consult. She worked quickly but efficiently. I had a hard time with pain but she numbed the area further for me to be able to handle the procedure. I would recommend this dentist to anyone. I have Humana Medicare for insurance and they are in network for me.

This a update to the review I left in July after my 1st visit. I gave a 1 star review then. It's 10-01-20. Updating the review to a 4 star after my visit today. Everything about today's visit was really good. I have to go back to get my permanent crown placed in three weeks. It is 10/22/20. I'm finishing the updated review with 4 stars.

I started going to this dentist over three years ago as they had just opened up conveniently next to my place of employment. I have had a lot of cavities over the years due to lack of proper maintenance and poor enamel stength. Though I've been to many dentist over the years, however, I've always made them "emergency" visits when the pain necessitated work. This is because, like many others, I had a general anxiety about going for dental work. Everyone from the receptionist, to the dental hygienists, to the dentists, have all been very pleasant and patient with me. From bringing my own headphones to stoping mid procedure to give me a minute to calm myself, and offering nitrous at each procedure. Praise the Lord we just finished three years of doing restoration work on all of my teeth (because I am self pay and had to spread it out). We have pulled three teeth, had two root canals and crowns, and probably 10 fillings. I would highly recommend this dentist office as their work is excellent and they are thorough in their procedures.

I love this place. Everyone is so nice. I came in to get two of my wisdom teeth removed. Dr.Ham is like Speedy Gonzalez. She removed both of them in like under two min. She is the best.

Waited for 20 minutes, no one bothered to mention that they were running late, or how much longer I'd have to wait. It's very unprofessional of them, and the lady at the front desk couldnt care less about my time wasted. There's a newer, and more professional dentist offoce right around the corner, acoid this one!
