I called on Monday morning because I broke a tooth over the weekend. Crystal told me to come in within the hour. Upon arrival the staff was welcoming and I was called to the back immediately. Dr. Pinckney explained the process and addressed all of my concerns. She listened and made me feel comfortable. The office manager, Ashley was very informative about the cost of each step and addressed any concerns immediately. I will definitely recommend Ideal Dental to my friends and family. I will also be making this my new permanent dental office.

I should probably wait to write this review as I would not be surprised if this location decides to try and retaliate against me. I am well documented though and will hold those accountable. Called on Saturday morning understanding that it may be difficult to be serviced on a Saturday 10/15 but given the pain I was in I was going to call around until I found someone that could help. When informing the individual Id want to have the tooth extracted she told me that she couldn't guarantee a same day extraction but that they would see what they could do. (This in reference means there is a possibility but may not be able to be done - this I later found out was never a possibility) Upon arrival I was treated well and everyone was all smiles. I was sat in a room shortly after arrival and spoke to the Dr Pinckney. Informed her of what tooth was bothering me (filling came out) and possible interest in future services she got everything ready to go to work. When she informed me that she was about to move forward with a root canal and crown, I informed her that I wanted an extraction done. That's the moment everything changed about their smile and me being there. Dr Pinckney then informed me that she would prescribe me antibiotics and pain meds and could be seen next week regarding the extraction. She informed me that she'd walk me to the front and talk to Crystal about payment. When speaking to Crystal she informed me that my insurance would pay for the visit and since I wasn't having the procedure done, I asked if it still qualified for the $19 promo, as I'd just pay out of pocket. She informed me that she already submitted for the billing to go through insurance. I asked her if they were billing insurance the same $19 and she wouldn't answer but spoke around it in circles. This is when I became skeptical. I wasn't entirely sure why they couldn't do the extraction other than they said they'd need to have the oral surgeon do the procedure. (I assumed that it was due to the complexity and condition of the tooth.) I later found out that it is because they only allow their oral surgeon do extractions which led to me understanding there was ZERO percent chance I was having an extraction done prior to me even arriving. (This was NOT the set expectation). Cristal did inform me that she would get back to me on Monday with pricing once she spoke to my insurance. Monday passed no call Tuesday passed no call Wednesday passed no call Thursday I called them and spoke with Ashley. That is who informed me that there was no chance on Saturday for me to have had the extraction done and apologized for being led to believe it was a possibility. She apologized for no one getting back to me and informed me that she would look into it. When I landed at the airport, I did receive a voicemail from Ashley regarding looking into the matter. When calling back the offices were closed and although the voicemail indicated I would have an email to reference I had not seen an email come through. (Yes I checked my spam folder). Today I call in the morning to find out what is going on (mind you I don't like taking pain meds to begin with) and Cristal informed me that she told me that they never do same day extractions, (which is a blatant lie) in return I informed her that I don't have a problem holding those accountable for exactly what they do say. If she had told me it wasn't possible I wouldn't have gone there, I would have called around attempting to get someone that could. I addressed with her that I never got an email she informed me that Ashley had sent it. When asking where to and subject heading I had no such email. When asking when, she said 7:12pm. (After my voicemail I left the prior day). When asking her to fwd the email, she informed me that she doesn't have access to but could send me a new email. (I am doubtful I am going to get such email with a date and time stamp that indicates a 7:12pm time) I will be looking into other measures to hold this unprofessional team accountable. As well as reaching out to my insurance company.

I had an excellent experience here! First, let me say that Ashley is the sweetest, most professional, amazing person! She went completely out of her way to make sure I was taken of. My issue required I see a specialist and she went above and beyond to help me when she didn't have to! Thank you Ashley! The office is clean and all the staff are very sweet and helpful ! Made me feel comfortable and at ease. Great place!

The front office is extraordinary nice organized staff! I wasn't very happy about the dental hygienist. She was hard to understand, wasn't very thorough and very uncomfortable treatment.

This was the first time in my life that I can honestly say that I was completely satisfied. Normally. I fringe at the mention of a dentist. From the first call when I spoke w/Misti, I was made to feel warm and completely eased. Upon going to my first appointment, Misti, Charlotte, Dr.Teresa, and Dr. Ashley Pinkney all welcome me with the most warming introduction. I dreaded having any major procedures done, Dr. Pinkney assured me that it/I would be just fine. My second visit i was very terrified. Charlotte spoke with me concerning my procedure, and she was totally honest w/me. Dr. Pickney has an Excellent bedside manner. I was there for four hours and during that time I was in absolutely no pain, this was a first. Would I recommend/suggest this dental office? Most definitely w/o having to think twice. I have more work that has to take place and now I'm not worried nor afraid about returning. This Ideal Dental office in Pearland is awesome, from the time you walk in until the time you walk out of the office you will be totally taken care of. Also a very clean and pleasant office/atmosphere. If you're interested in a new dental office and dentist this is the place to put one of the most important part of your body place it in Dr. Ashley Pinkney magnificent hands. Also i was asked several times by all parties did i have any questions, if so don't be afraid to ask. If it did concern them they would get the person that could properly give me resolution/answer. Thanks to all parties that I came in contact with, keep up the outstanding work that you do.

Since I first stepped foot in this office, I was not convinced with the office staff, but I loved the dentist and the dental hygienist there was nice too, so I stuck with them. Now going on three years going to this office, the office staff has just gotten worse. I'm not sure if they think that I'm younger than them that they can treat me the way they do, but it is completely unacceptable. Initially the office manager tried to convince me that my insurance didn't cover my service at all, but I'm well versed with my plan and had to fight her over it to make sure she looked into it more and did it right. I work in healthcare and I know how patients should be addressed and talked to, and how I've experienced it in this office is not it. Automatically put on hold for 10 minutes and when they do answer, they are completely unprofessional. They do not value customers time at this location, they have made me reschedule countless times and it is frustrating and a waste of time when they tell me the day of or day before that I have to reschedule since I have to work my schedule around these appointments and ask off a month in advance. I have been patient and was trying to wait to leave this review until I was completely done with my service at this location since I didn't want them to treat me even worse for leaving this review. Unfortunately after speaking to crystal today trying to reschedule my appointment, that they have cancelled for the third time in a row now, and seeing how unprofessional she is towards me, I finally addressed the issue to her. I had asked for the regional managers information as the office manager (Ashley) would be no help since she is also unprofessional and does not value my time as a customer. After asking for the regional managers information, crystal hung up on me, I called back and told her I was still talking and she hung up, expressed I was not happy with the situation, and all of the sudden I'm "ms. Ruiz". The front office staff seldom refer to me in this manner, as I mentioned before, I believe they are completely unprofessional, but she automatically switched how she addressed me because she knew she was in trouble. All in all, terrible office staff, unprofessional, and they have a problem with scheduling patients when they obviously shouldn't have, making them have to reschedule numerous times. Unhappy with crystal and Ashley at this pearland location which is unfortunate because I feel that dr Pinckney deserves a better office staff to match her professionalism. Honestly, my service would've probably only been a year and a half or so, but unfortunately, due to front staffs miscommunication and unprofessionalism, it is still on going.

I love it here!!! The staff is so friendly and I love that my dentist and hygienist are black women and women of color. The front desk receptionist Ashley and Crystal are awesome, and will work with you to ensure that you have a treatment plan that is affordable. Also love the payment plans that are offered if you cannot afford to pay the entire costs of treatment. If you are looking for a good dentist office , I would definitely recommend coming here!

I originally called and scheduled my son a new patient appointment with ideal dental for 930am. Received an email confirming his appointment at 930am. A few weeks later I received an email confirming his appointment time was at 1030am the same day. I called and asked why his appointment time changed and was told "oh for new patients the appointment has to be at 1030am". Never would have received a call explaining that if I hadn't reached out. Fast forward to Saturday a few days before the appointment. I received a phone call confirming his appointment Monday at 1030am. A few hours later I received another confirmation email stating his appointment was at 11am. I am very disappointed. I have one day off during the week a month and scheduled his dentist and dr appointment the same day hours apart and now he won't be getting his teeth cleaned before school starts like planned because ideal dental likes to change the appointment times and not even explain why. Very unprofessional.

This dentist office is the best I've every been to from the from desk to the dentist. I will Recommend anybody to the Pearland location.Dr Pinckney did a wonderful job on my teeth only if y'all seen them before they where jacked up Thanks again for the wonderful team

I have been to several dental offices and Ideal Dental tops them all because of their quality and professional care! Crystal and Ashley, work up front, are so nice, efficient and personable. I'm so happy we found an awesome dentist.

I've never felt so comfortable with a dentist before I came here and for the first time I wasn't made to feel dirty about my teeth they went out they're way to make me feel comfortable and help me achieve dental healthiness
