HORRIBLE most unprofessional dentist I have EVER been to. Her hand kept slipping off instruments..... over & over once flew out of her hand!!! Worse experience I've ever had at any dentist .... I'm wondering is this a "training" place ....

Had a dental emergency, they got me in the same day, took care of me with great care. Will definitely go back.

The dentist did not seem very sure of himself (not the one pictured on the webpage), patient next door to me had a filling done and that same dentist's response was that he wasn't sure where her pain stemmed from while she managed to mention she didn't have that pain before all he could say was "I don't know, the only thing I can think of is I potentially made the filling too big". Another patient came storming in to complain loudly about a disservice. When it was finally my turn after a long wait, I was not as adamant to get my teeth attended to, I was nervous and had lost confidence in quality of care but gave him the benefit of the doubt. He guessed out loud what treatment would be needed for me and even used the words "I don't know I think this, no actually maybe that". Diminishing my confidence further. As a result I've decided to phase treatment versus get it all done in one sitting, while I decide whether or not to entrust my care in this dentist or request a different one and continue care here. A tough one, either way dentistry scares me so I'll have to hope I'm not worse off for posting my honest opinion/concerns based on observation and my experience

My wife and I spent an hour and a half for teeth cleaning. We learned our dentist was gone. Almost complete turnover with staff. Worst experience at this location. We will move to a new location.

My husband made a visit to this location because his tooth had his jaw was swollen. Instead of giving him antibiotics for the infection and schedule an extraction, he attempted to extract an infected tooth. After 2 tries, breaking the tooth and 6 hours later; my husband was in worst pain then when started. Left without any meds and had yo go to the emergency room. I will be making a formal complaint about this particular Dentist. This location do not have an on-staff dentist, if Dr. Andrew Berhold is there, leave immediately.

Updated 08.04.2022 Ideal Dental Northlake is just the best. I had an old filling causing me pain and I called them this morning to make an appointment. They got me in same-day at 2:30 pm. They have a new doctor and she is just wonderful. Great 'bedside manner' and just excellent in her treatment. Fast, painless, and effective. I feel so much better. Love love love them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ideal Dental lives up to their name. All my family members have used the Northlake office and we have nothing but praise for the staff and their excellent care. Plus they work really well with our Care 500 Plan from 1Dental, which really helps us save.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They explained everything to me as we went along. The doctor went over my x-rays and told me what needs to be done. Then prioritize things for me. Definitely recommend them.

I always enjoy and have a good experience at Ideal Dental - Northlake. Dr. Madera & her team have always been kind & professional. The AWESOME office manager Amy always greets you with a smile. She takes the time to go over your dental plan and any associated fees. They offer excellent specials for their patients. Ex: free lifetime teeth whitening. I will continue to return to this location due to the courteous staff , clean office and affordable treatment.

Great staff! Both in the front and crew in the back. Took care of my insurance and teeth cleaning. Couldn't be more pleased. Weird to say but looking forward to my next visit.

Would of been a life long customer. CHECK YOUR ACCOUNTS. I finished paying them off in April and they have been charging me 300 dollars for the month of May and June and July. Very unprofessional had to call numerous times to have them return the funds and all I got was I'm sorry. In a time of such high inflation and costs going up all across the board having to wait for this money was terrible. They literally took the food out of my mouth and stopped me from paying bills I had to pay because of there repeated mistakes. Never going here again and like I said if you're on a payment plan watch your account after your finish paying. They will take and take. Very untrustworthy. Never coming back again.

If I could give zero stars i would. I was told before the cleaning that i have already gad several fillings in my mouth and when i told the dentist i have never had any mouth work done and that i would've remembered she proceeded to tell me "well no one's teeth can look that good". She then proceeded to point out 8 more "fillings" that i "needed" to get in one sitting. The hygienist was so timid she barley touched me the whole time while cleaning my teeth.
