High run-over. You would be lucky to see the same dentist twice in one year. And the front desk doesn't even tell you " oh by the way, your dentist has changed". Unprofessional

Currently on my invisalign treatment with this office. My teeth have changed significantly and I owe it all to the careful detail this office has placed on my teeth. Staff is very kind and helpful!

If, I would have 0 Star or in Minus, I would have given that. Even, I didn't want the services to be done. Did as per doctor advice back in Nov 2021. They gave me pre dental estimate approval and told me, what will I pay in front and rest insurance will cover. I paid the copay at the time of services and got the bill of $794 which was completely not covered by insurance as Insurance didn't received the periodontic chart from Ideal Dental ( McKinney) even after requesting so many time. I called the number mentioned on the bill of Ideal Dental and they can't resolve it and said you will have to pay and don't know anything more than that. They said they will leave a message to claim center but will not be able to follow up as they receive 100 of queries each day and can't keep the track of it. There is no number/ email of claim center where you can directly contact them. When called to insurance for the same. They said they haven't received the requested documents. Why insurance can't receive the periodontic chart as requested to cover the bill. After calling so many of times with no positive response, they have pushed bill to the collection as it just has to be paid. Such a terrible billing services. My dental Hygienist (Sorry don't remember the name) ( Was Asian Ethnic) was great and detail oriented. Say thanks to her for the services.

I was referred her by an employee Michelle Guerrero due to an emergency my daughter had with her teeth. From the moment I walked in I was treat with smiling faces and great service. Will definitely continue to return for future care.

My best dental experience EVER! I get severe anxiety about going to the dentist. I had a tooth extraction, the dental assistant held my hand and Dr. Kim was so patient! I really needed their professionalism and extreme kindness today!

Hygienist was amazing but communication was terrible. Front desk was charging me $100 for my routine cleaning and said my insurance would not cover. I asked why they did not tell me I had to pay for a teeth cleaning if that was the case when insurance paid the last cleaning and I was not prepared. Basically they just told me it was not their issue. I must have not understood that there would be a fee. I did not drop the issue and hold and behold gentleman suddenly said , oh appears they do cover you maintenance cleaning I will have to override the charge and quickly went to when can we schedule your follow up. Long story short if I had not elevated the fee they would have stolen $100 from me. Did not reschedule... beware. Know everything and fees before they take you to the back and involve your insurance if they are billing you to verify. I don't trust them any longer.

My hygienist was quick, patient and very kind. She made my nerves calm all the way down. I would recommend her to anyone with or without sensitivity.

My experience was horrible. Multiple visits for two crowns and root canal. Had to keep coming back, I tried to be patient. No one told me I needed a cleaning to warranty my two crowns, which after multiple visits they never offered a cleaning. Multiple dentists worked on my at various times because they precious one no longer worked there. Finally I was told to come in for cleaning (for warranty) and when I did but refused the deep cleaning (extra cost) they would not do the regular cleaning. I think this place is only about making money and offers shotty work and poor services. The office staff and dentist are friendly. That my is one star. Beware!

Poor customer service. I told to wait for 7 minutes..after that I hung up and called again..they hung up. Im still holding the line and writing a review. Always a bad experience.

This was my first time at this office and I don't think I will be returning. First off it took almost two hours. They wouldn't clean my teeth unless I paid extra money for a few teeth where I have some bone loss. They wanted me to pay over $150 at first. I told them I couldn't afford that. Then they said i could do the minimum of $33. Wouldn't clean my teeth unless I did that for some "special treatment" on those teeth. I needed my teeth cleaned so I agreed. Then they came back and said they were wrong and it would be $48 that I would need to pay for it. Sat in the dentist chair for almost 2 hours waiting for them to figure it out. My son also went at the same time and said the hygienist he had was rude and made him feel like he had horrible hygiene. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the hygienist I had was nice. Looks like, yet again, I will be searching for a new dentist.

How did they charge me for cleaning $852 out of pocket with my HMO insurance. Why did they NOT clean the tops.? How did they miss all this extra brown spots?

Ideal Dental McKinney is the best dental practice I have ever been to. They are friendly, attentive and professional. The front office staff has gone out of their way to make sure things were taken care of with my insurance and the dental lab so that the dental team could get my procedures done. I went from being humiliated when opening my mouth to having the most beautiful smile in the world. It has been nothing short of life changing. The entire team truly care about me and I have referred a number of friends and coworkers to them. I'm thankful every day that I found them!
