Went in for a routine cleaning, wasn't allowed to get said routine cleaning unless I paid for the deep cleaning. Mind you I take very good care of my teeth so it's not like I walked in with a bad case. Never experienced that before - i walked out

I have struggled since May to receive my EOB for my Invisalign treatment I received at this clinic. Currently have finished the treatment and they have yet to provide my insurance with images needed to complete claim. My insurance has contracted them directly and I have directly spoken to the dentist, front desk and manager and still nothing has been provide to the insurance to complete claim. They informed me that they can not provide me with a direct person in billing department to contact because apparently they only communicate through email. They did not provide me with the email. Every time I speak to them they voice they will be providing the insurance with missing information but have yet to do so 6 months later. Oh and don't bother calling the 888 number Laura is as much help as staff at the Lakewood clinic. All you will get from the 888 number is a sorry followed by awkward silence. Save the hassle of dealing with poor communication, and apparently unorganized dental company and go somewhere else.

Dr. Katie and her team are awesome! Super kind and informative. The office has a jovial vibe and each team member seem to be an expert in their role. I was able to be seen, advised, and treated in a reasonable time frame which was greatly appreciated!

The staff was super attentive and sweet! The dentist and his assistant work quickly but efficiently, they were super gentle with me and would ask me occasionally if I needed breaks. I had never had a dentist visit be so pleasant. 10/10 would recommend!

I visited Ideal Dental Lakewood after more than 3 years away from the dentist. I had so much anxiety even just making the appointment, I've had bad experiences with dentists and feeling ashamed. But I recently quit smoking and I wanted to get my teeth right. And I'm so glad that I did. I had a morning appointment and upon arrival, I immediately felt at ease. Ms Morgan checked me in and talked me through what to expect. She also clearly explained the costs - itemized, along with my insurance. My dental assistant, Ms. Dianna, was very welcoming. She explained all of the new tech that's been created since I last went. It was like being in a space ship - everything was so fast and Dianna scanned my mouth and made a 3D rendering of my teeth to explore with the doctor! She also entertained all of my oooohs and aaaaahs along with technical questions. After the worlds fastest cleaning (of teeth that needed excessive scrubbing), Dr. Shah came in and looked at the scan with me and explained what he saw and his recommendations. I had four cavities - and was elated when he said they could fill them today. In 90 minutes I went from embarrassed smoker teeth to "perfect" teeth. If you're putting it off, do it. You will not regret it, and the team at Ideal Dental Lakewood make it so easy. I'll be back in 6 months for my superfast cleaning before work. Thank you for returning my confidence - I can't stop smiling!

I took my son and daughter for a 6 month check up and cleaning. Was told my son had 10 cavities and my daughter had 9. They wanted to fill them that same day. I declined because it didn't seem right they had that many, especially since we go every 6 months. I took them to get a second opinion and I'm glad I did. They each had zero cavities! Will never use Ideal Dental again. Had I listened to them, they would of done fillings that were not needed.

This experience was so great!! I hadn't been to the dentist in awhile and they took care of me! They were very patient and encouraging! They always made sure I was okay and felt comfortable during the procedure. If you're nervous about going to the dentist, rest assured, they will absolutely take care of you!!

I had to come to this location after an unfortunate experience elsewhere. I had to had a crown seated. The last location had made the crown and this location was going to seat. They went above and beyond for me. They altered the crown so that it fit perfectly into my mouth. They were kind and very gentle! Dr.Nguyen was filling in and did a great job. Karina was gentle and was ready to go above and beyond to guarantee a perfect seating for me! I've found my new dentist. The whole staff was kind and courteous.

All they care about is money money money. Not you, but money. I had a broken wisdom tooth that the nerve was exposed in pain for months. I don't have insurance so I went to several places to find out how much it would be to pull that one broken wisdom tooth. I go there the dentist is nice but the office staff is kind of rude and all they cared about was money. They charged me almost $800 to pull one tooth. I refuse to go back to that place until the pain was so bad it shot to my brain so I called him immediately and told him what I did have money-wise if they could please please pull it she had to call me back and said that I could come in and pay the majority of it up front and then they would automatically draft my account for the other later which did happen they didn't even ask me what day to automatic draft what day I got paid nothing they just took the money out of my account. He pulled it so fast I didn't even see it coming then he tells me the tooth behind it there's a big cavity in a hole in that and I asked well how much will that be what can you do about it and he said oh you have to pay more basically I'll have to pay for more x-rays off to pay for more office fees more time so it's all about money money I would recommend do not go there unless you want to spend a lot of money

My pre-conceived view of going to the dentist was immediately changed when I came to Ideal Dental for a routine cleaning. Going to the dentist has typically been a negative experience for me, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The building and staff are very inviting and clean. I received excellent service from the Dr and staff, using top of the line dental equipment. The location is in a well established area of East Dallas (close to White Rock Lake) and I would recommend this practice to anyone seeking a local dentist!

Dr. Shah does great work all around. Clinic staff are extremely helpful and professional. Office is clean and TVs in each room make for a relaxing experience.
