Dr. Jeremiah Alcazar was born in Lubbock, raised in Levelland, and honored to be serving the people of Idalou, Lubbock, and surrounding communities. After graduating from Levelland High School, Dr. Jeremiah attended Amarillo College and studied Nuclear Medicine Technology. Dr. Jeremiah worked for seven years in nuclear medicine before returning to school and pursuing a dental degree.
In 2011, Dr. Jeremiah received his bachelors degree in business and a minor in biology from Stony Brook University in New York. In 2015 Dr. Jeremiah received his dental degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. Dr. Jeremiah has a passion for continuing education and prides himself on being current on dental technology, materials, and procedures. Dr. Jeremiah and his team are committed to providing you and your family quality dental care, in a comfortable, stress-free environment.
Dr. Jeremiah and his wife Dr. Cherrie Jose have been blessed with three awesome kids. Evelyn, our oldest, has the kindest heart and enjoys drawing and changing her outfits every few hours. Eleanor, our middle child, keeps everyone entertained where her oversized personality. Hugo, our youngest, is constantly putting smiles on our faces while at the same time pestering his older sisters.
When Dr. Jeremiah has free time (never) and the West Texas weather cooperates, he does his best to stay active by running, cycling and swimming; but truthfully he spends most of his time with his lovely wife and three wonderful kids.
Hannah Vaughn was born and raised in South Dakota. She then moved to Lubbock, Texas, and graduated from Lubbock Dental Assisting School in 2017. When she isnt giving the best care to our patients she is at home relaxing with her two dogs and volunteering at church on Sundays.

The staff is friendly, and I love the decor! I had a crown that recently needed to be replaced due to a cavity and chose Idalou Dental due to location and reputation. I left with minimal swelling and soreness and I'm happy to say that I found a place where I can be cared for and trust for my dental work.

WOW!! So relaxing and easy for any dental procedure. From the front desk staff to the back, everyone is so kind and professional. Glad I'm a patient here and my wife and kids also. And it's so clean and updated. Idalou deserves a Dental practice this nice! Landon

I woke up with a swollen tooth. Not only did this special, wonderful place work me in quickly, the entire staff was especially friendly and professional...and Dr. Alcazar was knowledgeable and calmly explained my questions. He went beyond what I needed. I arrived home and told my sister and son to change to this establishment...THANK YOU!!

Dr. Alcazar is amazing, good with kids. Office staff is friendly, helpful.I'm so glads there is a dental office close by us again. So convenient. Office is so nice and clean. You will not be disappointed.
