She began her career practicing in Colorado Springs, gaining lots of experience in state-of-the-artrestorativeandcosmetic dentistry.In 2012, she moved to Denver, where she mainly cared for under-served children and families. She is now the owner of the local dentist office ICON Dental located in downtown Denver where she hopes to meet you and care for your smile!
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, including her husband, Dan, sons, Ari & Ryo and their Great Dane, Mini. She also enjoys cooking, traveling, painting, and spending time in the outdoors. She looks to provide you with an excellent dental experience every time.
Soheila is the face behind the scenes that makes the finances happen. Soheila moved from Iran to Iowa in 2000. She started her career in dentistry as a dental assistant when she moved to Colorado in 2004, serving underserved children, and has explicitly specialized on dental finances and benefits shortly after.
In her spare time, Soheila enjoys the Colorado weather, mountains and wildlife, cooking, and spending times with her husband, three daughters, and grandson. She is very passionate and detailed about her work and loves patient interaction.
I have been in the dental industry for 3 years and enjoy meeting all the new patients and making connections with them year after year. I am a Colorado native and in my free time, I love to travel and spend time with my kids and grandson.

Hailey was born in South Korea and raised in Aurora, Colorado. She graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder and Community College of Denver. Hailey loves her job as a dental hygienist and meeting new people through it. She treats her patients with compassion and puts them at ease. Outside of the office Hailey enjoys work out classes, outdoor activities, experiencing new restaurants and attending CU football games. SKO BUFFS!
Carley has been a dedicated hygienist for over 12 years. She attended Binghamton University, as well as Broome Community College where she graduated with her RDH degree. She grew up in upstate NY, spent many years in Manhattan and then moved to Denver in 2019. Carley enjoys your typical Colorado activities such as attempting to hike 14ers, skiing both sides of the mountain, catching a concert, or routing on a sports team.
Whitney is a proud graduate from the University of Oklahoma (Boomer sooner!) and has been a dental hygienist for 7 years. She moved to Colorado three years ago for the outdoors and mountain views! When shes not combating periodontal disease at the office you can find her at the park, in the mountains, or staying busy with her two dogs, Ace and Lucy. Personable and thorough she will make sure you have an amazing experience in the dental chair.
Ashley is our amazing hygiene assistant. She has been in dentistry since 2010 and loves helping our patients achieve the smiles they love. Ashley and her husband have four beautiful children, two boys and two girls and a mini-Australian Shepherd fur baby who just had her first litter (Aww). Ashley studies real estate in her spare time, as well as baking and enjoying the beautiful outdoors with her family.
The Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) isthe dentists right arm, taking significant responsibility as a member of the dental health care team. Assistants greatly increase the efficiency of dentists in delivering oral health care.
I am a Colorado Native. Whenever Im not working I enjoy all outdoor activities Colorado has to offer such as camping, kayaking, snowboarding, and biking. I am a huge sports fan and love watching and attending the Broncos game.
Neyda enjoys singing, drawing, and hiking with her dog Lily. She also loves spending time with her family, especially her little niece. She loves to explore and create new adventures with family and friends! She is very passionate about everything she does and strives to be the best that she can be. Aurelia is a 5th generation Colorado native, born and raised here in Denver. She began her career in the dental field seven years ago in California graduating from San Diego Community College, after training on the MCRD in a naval clinic. She finds joy in having a direct positive impact on peoples lives, helping them improve their health and feel better about their smiles.
Edward is our one of our best Expanded DutyDental Assistant. She has been in Dentistry for over 30 years. Edward served in the U.S. Navy as a Field Medic & Dental Tech. He is married to his wife Antoinette, of 28 years and they have 2 children together.
Katherine is our amazing Expanded DutyDental Assistant. She has been in the dental field for 13 years and has received her training at the Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Katherine is calm, gentle, and very detail oriented. She is very competent in all areas of dentistry, but especially loves cosmetic dentistry. Katherine is a proud Colorado native. She has an amazing fianc and two miniature schnauzers. She is very active and loves the outdoors and enjoys bowling in a league. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, golfing, snowboarding, and volunteering. We also love eating what she makes us, as she is an amazing cook and loves to bake.

Just moved to Denver and was lucky to find this place! Had a routine check up and loved the staff I interacted with, mainly my hygienist, Holland. They gave me great care (X-rays, teeth cleaning, and even cleaned my retainer for me!!). I will definitely be returning and recommending them to others.

Extremely obscure pricing. Was quoted for a simple operation and billed twice as much. Dentist added items to my visit without consulting me first before going ahead with them. Little to no transparency. Would not recommend

Icon Dental is very professional and very well staffed. Joe, who helped with my fillings this morning, was excellent explaining what he was doing and very personable as well. Dr. Nyugen is also excellent and detailed explaining the procedures to be done. If you're looking for a dentist, I highly recommend this practice!

I had a great experience! The office was clean, staff were friendly and professional and I was taken within minutes of arriving. The pre-check in process made my visit very smooth. I really liked the Dentist's honesty and professionalism regarding an ongoing dental concern I've had for years. The hygienist respected my wish to be numbed for the cleaning (due to exposed roots) and offered me a few options to choose from, which I really appreciated. I will be going back!

After a few years of not visiting a dentist due to some anxiety, moving cross-country, and the pandemic I came to Icon in August for a cleaning with Haley. She was great - really kind and gentle and didn't make me feel bad for not having gone to the dentist in a while! I needed a few fillings and crowns and Dr. Neda set me up with a great treatment plan to get everything done in a few months. I ended up needing a root canal and Dr. Neda fit me in last minute to look at it and recommended a great endodontist. She even put in my permanent crown the next day! Overall, all the work I needed to get done was easy, simple and quick and I never had much pain afterwards. All the assistants I had were really nice and took the time to explain every part of the process so I knew what was going on. TVs on the ceiling keep you distracted. Everyone there is so kind and welcoming. The office is clean and there is always street parking available and close to the RTD.

I have been going to Icon for the past year. I had heard about their talented dentists and decided to give them a try. Dr Tarjan and each of the staff members that I have encountered over the Invisalign treatment have all been so friendly & knowledgeable. My previous dentist had told me I was not eligible for a implant and I would have to get a bridge (not preferred) but dr. Tarjan found a way to make room for my implant! I'm so impressed by everyone at Icon I couldn't say enough good things about them.

I have been a patient at Icon Dental for several years, and I continue to be impressed by the quality of treatment received from the excellent staff at Dr. Tarjan's dentistry. Recently I had a crown procedure, and I am very pleased with the result. Icon Dental uses state-of-the-art instruments which enable this procedure to be completed in a single visit. Amazing!

Icon Dental is wonderful. Everyone working there is knowledgable, kind and great at their jobs. They thoroughly answer questions (and clean teeth), and explain how you can keep a healthy mouth until the next check-up. I genuinely like going to the dentist for the first time ever, which sounds like a cheesy informercial, but I don't even care because it's true.
