Dr. Gabriel and Dr. Hubcheva are both committed to providing excellent dental care to all their patients. Dr. Gabriel and Dr Hubcheva believe strongly in education to help each patient prevent serious oral health issues in the future and are committed to keeping all their patients fully informed about their dental health and planned care.
Dr. Gabriel graduated from the Emory University Dental School in 1987 and began practicing right away. His office has always been located in the Druid Hills Area. He moved his practice to our current location, 1275 McConnell Drive, Suite H, Decatur, GA 30033, in May 2016.
Dr. Gabriel was born in Cairo, Egypt and has lived in the Atlanta area since 1983. He is married and has two sons. Before dentistry Dr. Gabriel had a professional soccer career. He coached his sons soccer teams in their youth.In his free time, Dr. Gabriel enjoys reading and listening to music, both classical and classic.
Dr. Mirela M. Hubcheva grew up in Marietta, GA. Dentistry became a passion of hers when she was in high school and she never looked back. Dr. Hubcheva attended the University of Georgia, where she obtained her Bachelors degree in Biology. She graduated from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University earning a Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. She is also an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Georgia Dental Association (GDA), and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD.)
Dr. Hubchevas family is from Bulgaria and she is fluent in Bulgarian. Her family background sparked a passion for traveling and exploring different cultures. In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities, trying new cuisines, and spending time with family and friends.
Above all, taking care of patients is her biggest passion. She loves communicating with patients of all ages. Abby is our very caple Office Manager. She has worked at Druid Hills Dental for twelve (12) years. Originally from New York, Abby has also lived in Guatemala. She is married with two fur babies and a fish. Abby went to BOCES Technical School. Abby enjoys time at the gym and at the beach. In her free time, she also enjoys drawing and spending time with her family.
My Phuong is our newest Dental Hygienist, starting in our office May 2018. My is originally from Vietnam and has lived in Atlanta for over five (5) years. She earned her Associate in Science Degree from Central Georgia Technical College. My enjoys learning new things and spending time with her family.
Fannie has been a dental assistant for more than 30 years and she has worked with Dr. Gabriel for 18 years. Originally from Mississippi, Fannie took her Dental training in Houston, Texas. Fannie enjoys reading, working out, walking in the park and movies based on real events.
Felicia was born and raised in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She moved to Atlanta to pursue her education through Job Corps where she obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant degree. One of her goals since childhood was to become a Dental Assistant. She pursued her Dental Assisting degree at Accelerated Dental Assisting Academy and now works at Druid Hills Dental as both a Dental Assistant and at the front desk. She has been with us since July 2018.Felicia has two fur babies, Annastasia and King. In her free time Felicia enjoys drawing, painting, listening to music, reading and walks in the park.

I've been going to him for over 15 years. He is the best! I tried another dentist because I moved and it was closer. The new dentist was going to charge me for a bridge/tooth implant that would have cost me over $4,000. I went back to Dr. Gabriel for a second opinion and he simply removed a piece of food that was stuck from a chipped crown and offered to replace the crown for free because he installed it a year ago. He said that I did not need a tooth implant! I am glad I went to him before I paid for an expensive procedure that I did not need. He is very honest and he knows what he is doing. I will take that 45 minute drive! His front office staff is great too! Heidi (dental hygienist) and Fanny are awesome!
