Dr. Ian Paul Lennard grew up in Sherman Oaks, California. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from U.C. Santa Barbara, he acquired his D.D.S. degree from U.C. San Francisco School of Dentistry. He then attended Northwestern University Dental School for his post-graduate orthodontic residency. Dr. Lennard was granted not only a certificate as a Specialist in Orthodontics, but also a Master of Science degree.
In June of 1997, Dr. Lennard began work as an orthodontic associate of Dr. Jack Rosser, a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, in San Jose, CA. Dr. Rosser and Dr. Lennard worked synergistically together for almost five years. However, in April of 2002 Dr. Lennard purchased the practice and it became what is now known as Lennard Orthodontics! Dr. Lennard earned his Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics status in March of 2006.

Our highly trained and skilled staff strives to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient in the Almaden Valley and San Jose, CA area. Each member of Dr. Lennards vibrant treatment team is a Registered Dental Assistant. We are proud to say that our office staff has years of experiences in treat patients with the highest level of orthodontic care. We work hard to stay up-to-date on the latest in orthodontic technological advances and appliances, such as Invisalign. Dr. Lennard has been my orthodontist for about seven years and I've never had anything but great experiences. He is always so kind, helpful, and understanding. I definitely recommend him and his office.

After consulting with several orthodontists, I chose Dr. Lennard as I felt he was by far the most thorough in his assessment and options for my teeth, and presented his vision for my treatment clearly. He is incredibly caring, nice, patient, and understanding. As I am in my fifth decade of life and still working, Dr. Lennard suggested using invisalign. He was spot on as the trays were easy to use and did not interfere with work. No one could tell I was getting my teeth straightened! Dr. Lennard also shaped several of my teeth and I now have a seamless, beautiful smile - one which is often complimented. I can't sing Dr. Lennard's praise loud enough. He is a true artist! His office has a warm, welcome feeling and is super clean and organized. The team - Robin, Celi, Becky and Carrie are skilled, friendly and provide an incredibly positive patient experience. Along with Dr. Lennard they were absolutely wonderful with their patients, both young and more seasoned. I highly recommend Dr. Lennard and his team! You will be happy you selected them.

My son started treatment with Dr. Lennard a couple of months ago. So far, our experience has been positive. Dr. Lennard has an established practice that gets the essential details right. The onboarding folder/packet had all of the information I needed, including the payment summary, photos of the types of foods to avoid, and an overview of the practice. The front desk staff is engaging. Becky is on top of the details, and she's very friendly. The team communicates well with its patients-firm handshakes, eye contact, and clear instructions for the next steps. I observe how they treat other patients and their families while I sit in the waiting area, and I'm impressed by the team's friendly demeanor. The atmosphere in the office is professional, comfortable, and inviting. The variety of magazines in the waiting area, as well as the stand-up "old school" arcade (think Pac-Man and Donkey Kong), makes waiting time pleasurable. If you're looking for an orthodontist team that treats their customers well, you owe it to yourself to sit down for a consultation. Compare Dr. Lennard's team versus a couple of other orthodontic practices, and I'm confident you'll have his team at the top of your list.

Dr. Lennard has been my ortho for 22 years! Having come to him when I was only 7, he has shaped and fixed my teeth to perfection. I highly recommend as I wouldn't go to anyone else. His service is 10 out of 10 and he does it all while being warm, honest, and extremely proficient!

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Lennard since about two years now for her phase I orthodontic treatment and we could not be happier with the results. My daughter had extreme crowding and needed braces fairly early, but the entire process of getting an expander, braces and a retainer have been a great experience. She's been getting many compliments on her smile and her dentist recently commented that she was very happy with the results as well. Dr. Lennard is very professional and caring and I appreciate that he always takes the time to update us on my daughter's treatment plan after each visit. The staff is extremely friendly as well and the the moment you walk into the office, you feel welcomed. The staff knows each patient by name, and they truly know how to make each visit a pleasant experience. As far as getting an appointment, they have been very accommodating and flexible. We are very happy to have found Dr. Lennard and we are planning to return for our youngest daughter's treatment as well.

I highly recommend Dr. Lennard's office. Our whole family has had their orthodontics done here. We have only had good experiences. All staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I went to them through high school, and when I go there as needed years later, the staff remembers me and my needs.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Leonard and his team. After having a terrible experience with another orthodontist in the Almaden area as a child, I was anxious and afriad about going to the orthodontist. However, Dr. Leonard's incredibly gentle demeanor gives his patients confidence and ease. He discusses all treatment options with you, allowing you to become an active participant in your, or your child's, orthodontic care. He explains each step and what to expect slowly and patiently, and answers any and all questions you may have. His front office staff are friendly and personable, and accommodate to your schedule as a student or professional. Furthermore, he is brilliant - an absolute perfectionist in his work; I am frequently complimented on my teeth and smile (all thanks to Dr. Leonard). My sister and several of my friends were also patients of his, and all shared the same positive experience. His gentle bedside manner, professionalism, and high-quality work set him and his team apart from any other office in the area. Having a great smile can greatly enhance your confidence, but obtaining that smile should not be painful or difficult. Dr. Leonard makes orthodontics comfortable and easy, and I highly recommend his care!

Great customer service. He is really patient and explains everything in details for you. I had a Orthodonsit when I was at high school and need to do it again for some reason. He explains pros and cons of each treatment and let you decide which one you prefer. About the price it is almost the same with other places .

I'm glad that when I got braces, it was with Dr. Lennard. I first went to his office with a very crazy set of teeth in fifth grade, and I'm now a sophomore at Leland High School with a perfect smile. I highly recommend going to this orthodontist if you live in the area and want to have beautiful teeth!
