Chet A. Hymas, DMD Dr. Chet Hymas makes it his mission to provide his patients with the finest dental care in the eastern Washington area. He is committed to delivering exceptional customer service, as well as staying up-to-date on the latest dental technology to ensure his patients receive the highest quality of dentistry. His goal as a dentist is to build a trusting relationship with patients by working together with them in the improvement of their oral health to give them a greater quality of life. He relies on proven diagnostic technology, effective treatment protocols, and high-quality dental materials to ensure his patients enjoy the benefits of long-lasting and incredibly comfortable dental care. He and his team at Hymas Family Dental are committed to educating their patients on proper oral healthcare, so they can make knowledgeable decisions in the treatment of their smiles. Dr. Hymas earned his undergraduate degree fromIdaho State University, and then went on to graduate fromCase Western Reserve Universityin Cleveland, OH with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2007. After graduating from dental school, he served in the U.S. Army for four years in Heidelberg, Germany, where he was a full-time dentist for active duty soldiers and their family members. He also deployed to Iraq for six months, receiving comprehensive training in oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Today, Dr. Hymas strives to continue his education by going beyond state requirements, so he can stay ahead of current trends in dentistry. He has advanced training inBiolase, Inc.and from theWhiteCap Institute. He is also a member ofSmile Source, which is a network of fantastic dental care practitioners who endeavor to provide their patients with the best care available.

Dr. Hymas has been married to his wonderful wife, Mindy, since 1999. Together, they have four children three girls and one boy. In his spare time, he enjoys motorcycles and spending time boating in the summer and snow-skiing in the winter with his family.

Dani has been with our practice since 2013 and enjoys working in a warm, friendly environment alongside an incredible staff. Prior to working with us, she graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene with expanded functions. Dani very much enjoys assisting patients and educating them on the link between oral health and overall health. Dani is married and has two wonderful children. She has a love for gardening and enjoys spending summers at the lake and spending time with her kids.

Heather joined Hymas Family Dental in 2014 and thoroughly enjoys helping patients become healthier versions of themselves. In 2006, she graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. Heather is dedicated to assisting patients on an individual basis, ensuring their oral healthcare needs are met. She loves keeping patients well-informed on the connection between their overall health and their oral health. Heather is married and has two boys and two girls. Her hobbies include baking, cooking, spending time by the water, photography, and spending time with her family.

Kim has been with our practice since 1998 and truly enjoys not only helping our patients maintain their oral health but also forging friendships with them. Prior to her dental career, she received a degree in dental hygiene from the University of Alaska. Kim loves working alongside Dr. Chet Hymas and his incredible staff, and she is committed to helping patients maintain their oral health. Kim has a new found passion for helping evaluate our patients airways and educating them on sleep and sleep related breathing disorder. She is grateful to work for a practice that puts patients first and is dedicated to assisting them in any way possible. Kim is married to her husband, Freddie, and together, they have four boys who keep them very busy and make them incredibly proud. Her hobbies consist of anything to do with her kids and their activities.

We welcomed Kim to Hymas Family Dental in 2019. She moved to the Spokane area from Seattle and is loving the Inland NW! When she moved, she brought 31 years of dental hygiene experience with her. She is grateful to have found a practice that has a long-term relationship with their patients. She loves working with a team that is committed to educating the patients and a team that has a strong understanding of the connection between overall health and dental health. Kim is a strong educator and cares about helping people be successful in their pursuit of health. Kim loves to spend time with her family. She is married and together they have two grown daughters and two son-in-laws. She enjoys cooking nutritious food, interior design, and long adventure walks. She is looking forward to providing excellent dental care to the patients of Hymas Family Dental for many years to come!

Jane joined the Hymas Family Dental team in 2013. She graduated from SCC in 1997 as a certified dental assistant. Jane works side by side with Dr. Hymas to help plan and deliver treatment to patients. She stays by the patients side during their whole procedure to ensure their comfort and to answer any questions. Her personal goal is to build a lasting relationship with patients and be someone they can trust. She enjoys learning new things about dentistry and strives to go above and beyond. When asked what she likes best about working here she said, Im honored to work with such an amazing doctor and staff. We have such a fun, relaxed, and comfortable environment that we provide for patients with a high level of experience, knowledge, and professionalism. In Janes free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She also enjoys gardening, cooking, being outdoors, and camping.

Emileigh started working at Hymas Family Dental in 2019. She went to West Valley High School and EWU. She loves to learn every day and loves that Dr. Hymas does a lot of continuing education to help the team improve. She loves being a part of a practice that helps change lives. She enjoys creating relationships with patients and helping them feel comfortable and happy to come to the dentist. She does a great job educating patients on why oral health is so important. Emileigh enjoys working out, riding horses, traveling, finding new places to eat, telling jokes, and cookingthe spicier the better! Emileigh is married and they have two fur babies, a dog named Piper and a cat named Dorito. She cheers for the Mariners and New England Patriots!

Kayla started working at Hymas Family Dental in 2020. She was born and raised in Spokane, Washington and is a huge LA Rams fan! She graduated in 2016 with a bachelors degree from Eastern Washington University and is currently pursuing a post bachelors degree in dental hygiene. What she likes best about Hymas Family Dental is the level of care given to patients. She also loves that everyone here helps each other succeed and works as a team. She loves to travel, do yoga, and hang out with her dog. Kayla is a coffee connoisseur and wont say no to a good cup of coffee!

Sam joined Hymas Family Dental in 2019. She has been in the dental field since 2006, & while most of her experience is in the front office, she has also trained as a dental assistant and worked in the back office for several years. She currently works as the financial coordinator at Hymas Family Dental. Sam is very detail-oriented and meticulous about patient accounts and accuracy. She has extensive insurance knowledge and always provides a smile to every patient she works with. She loves that we put patients first and recognizes how team-oriented everyone is. She loves how light-hearted and fun her coworkers are. She has been married for six years and loves spending time with her husband, son, and Penny, their family dog. She is also a huge Florida State Fan!
