DeeDee and Dr. Fayz have worked together since 2000. DeeDee began her dental career over 26 years ago as a registered dental assistant. Her current role is that of Office Manager. She enjoys helping and interacting with our patients making sure they receive quality service and attention. DeeDee loves to travel, enjoys good music, dining out, and values quality time with family. She resides in Chicago with her husband Lafayette, they have 2 grown children.
Dr.Fayz is a graduate of the University of Bordeaux in France, where she received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1987. She completed her post-graduate training in Periodontics and Implantology at University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 1992. In addition, she also holds a Master Degree in Histology from University of Illinois at Chicago.
She began her career as a faculty member in the department of Periodontology at Marquette University, she continued teaching at The Northwestern University Dental School and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University Of Illinois College Of Dentistry.
Dr. Fayz is the president of the Chicago Dental Society (Kenwood/Hyde Park branch) and is also an active member of The American Academy of Periodontology, Midwest Society of Periodontology, Illinois Society of Periodontics, American Dental Association, and the Illinois State Dental Society.
She founded the Hyde Park Study Club where she lectures about innovative Periodontics and Implantology concepts. Dr. Fayz has been practicing in Hyde Park since 1992. She believes in a team approach with individualized patient care, and is committed to the finest periodontal treatment while focusing on the patients needs. Dr. Fayz currently resides in Chicago alongside her husband and two children.
