Hyde Park Family Dentals organizational culture is defined by our vision (who we want to be), our mission (purpose) and our values (the principles by which we live). Everything we do should be guided by these three key elements of who we are. To this, we hold each other accountable.
Dr. Joel Gatchalian D.D.S., has over twenty years experience in cosmetic, implant and general dentistry. His interest in dentistry started with a degree in Dental Technology. This gives him a unique perspective on dental cases from start to finish. He received his D.D.S. from NYU College of Dentistry. He also took a two-year post graduate program in implantology from NYU.
He is currently a member of the Dutchess County Dental Society, The 9th District Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Dr. Gatchalian believes in having a caring, interpersonal relationship with his patients. Trust between the patient and the doctor is his ultimate goal. He is proud to have comforted dental phobic patients by carefully listening and understanding their concerns.
Dr. Gatchalian spends his free time with his family playing tennis, skiing and golfing. He has a wonderful wife and two great kids, a boy and a girl. He hopes someday his daughter will take golf to the professional level.

As someone who is nervous to get cleanings due to sensitivity I was so grateful to have met Linda the Hygienist. She was not only a kind and warm person but she was excellent at her job by handling me with great care. The overall visit was a stellar experience from Shelby and Theresa at the front desk to Dr. Rashford. All of these women have mastered the art of patient care. A great Dental practice is a rare find, I am glad to have been taken on as a new patient. Thank you MIchelle V.

Shelby and Theresa keep everything moving with a swift, warm, efficiency while making you feel like family. I've seen Dr. Harrelson three times now and he works like a magician - in that I have no idea how he does what he does so easily and painlessly - with the help of his assistants Mandy and Marie, both of whom are beyond professional in their attention to, and care for, the patient. If they do not take your insurance and you wind up paying out of pocket, it's worth it. Give yourself the gift of top-notch dental care and a truly unique experience. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. Seriously.
