After thousands of dollars on inlays at a different dentist office on cape 10 years ago..one by one all the inlay's failed. I shopped around getting 3 different opinions at other local dentist offices. Thankfully Dr Lacava was recommended to me by a close friend. I was in need of two extensive root canals. I had the first root canal a few months ago by Dr Lacava (after saving some money) I returned for the second root canal and permanent cap today; all in one sitting. They make the caps in house. The office is immaculate. The staff is professional and very friendly. Doctor Lacava is up beat and works seamlessly with his wonderful assistant Jojo. I am so happy with my decision in choosing this office. I have SO much anxiety when it comes to dental work after previous nightmare locally here on the Cape. Also, they take every covid precaution and then some. I felt very safe!

Mark Lacava is an exceptional professional. He has the newest equipment and a caring attitude. I found him on line ten years ago and have been happy from the first appointment

I have found everyone I have encountered at Hyannis Dental Associates to be attentive, compassionate, helpful and more than competent. I have seen Dr. LaCava for simple fillings to root canals and a crown replacement, and I cannot praise him and his work enough. If it were possible, I would give them more than 5 stars! I definitely would recommend Hyannis Dental Associates.

During COVID-19 they provided services to my husband without letting us know the procedures they would be performing and the patient responsibility Totaling $231.00. I called the office three times leaving a message for the office manager no response. The forth time I called I spoke to the billing/office manager who said yep she agreed they did not tell me as they have had a smaller staff due to COVID 19 and that there will be no change to the bill or what is due. I also contacted COVID-19 in March and was incapacitated until the first week of June. I was out of work without pay. My husband also had to be home from work for over a month. The office called to reschedule our appointments they scheduled both of us immediately called back and cancelled mine. They have treated my husband multiple times. At the phone all I was able to speak with the office manager I asked why this was she had said well it's like a five month ???? It is well beyond 5 months. It is now September and they still have not tried to reschedule me. Treating a person that had Covid-19 in March and refusing to see them after being tested again with a Covid-19 negative is utterly ridiculous.

Don't book an appointment online. It does not mean anything. The information goes know where. When you ask about it, the receptionist said that it does not book the appointment. You have to call. Then why have the option to book an appointment online. Going to a more professional business.
