Kim, Elizabeth and Nurveta, our expert team of trained dental assistants, have over 25 years combined experience. They will greet you in the waiting room and oversee all aspects of patient care from start to finish. They help maintain our clean professional environment, facilitating the highest quality of dental care, and will attend to your every comfort while you are with us.
Since joining Hyalite Family Dental in 1999, Ann has had the opportunity to form many beautiful relationships with her patients- and she feels that is what makes her job so rewarding. Hailing from Deer Lodge, Montana, Ann attended Montana Tech in Butte before transferring to Sheridan College to complete her dental hygiene curriculum. After graduating from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene, Ann practiced for a year in South Dakota before returning to her home state. Over the years, Ann has loved her time spent volunteering with Gallatin Dental Alliance, AHEC School Screening Program, Special Olympics Special Smiles and Dentistry From the Heart. In 2017, she was the recipient of the Montana Dental Hygienists Association Community Service Award for the Bozeman Area. Outside of work, Ann enjoys hiking, thrift shopping, garage saling and spending time with her husband and three daughters.
Shelly began her career as a Dental Hygienist in 1996. She graduated with her Dental Hygiene Degree from Sheridan College in WY. Shelly joined Dr. Eric Monson and the team at Hyalite Family Dentistry in 2016. She thinks it is a fantastic practice and is grateful to be a part of it. She feels fortunate to work with wonderful colleagues, who all strive to achieve the best care for and dedication to their patients. Shelly loves the personal relationships built with her patients and that she is able to provide them with the opportunity to have the best oral health. Outside of work, Shelly enjoys spending time with her family, treasuring every moment she has with them. Born and raised in the Gallatin Valley, she enjoys being outdoors as much as possible and loves all activities this area has to offer.
Jessica graduated from MSU Bozeman with a BS in Food and Nutrition in 2006. Following graduation she worked as a dental assistant for over 2 years before continuing her education. She went on to recieve her associates degree in Dental Hygiene at Great Falls College MSU and graduated with highest honors. Jessica enjoys interacting with patients, and treating people with quality care and compassion.
Dr. Monson has been practicing dentistry in Bozeman Montana for over 20 years. Dr. Monson grew up in Colorado and Michigan also living for 4 years in Germany and Sweden. He graduated with Honors from Oregon HealthScience University School of Dentistry in Portland Oregon in 1996, receiving a Doctorate of Dental Medicine, after doing his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. He is married to Wendy Ballard Monson and they have five children. He enjoys spending time with his family and all kinds of outdoor activities including: mountain biking, golf, hiking, camping, hunting, and fishing. Dr. Monson enjoys continuing to learn about his profession and attends a variety of continuing education courses every year to stay up-to-date with current advances in dentistry.

Digital dentistry allows us to capture accurate imaging of your teeth for effective diagnosis and screening of disease. From digital X-rays to a 3D virtual scanner (for digital impressions of your mouth,) our incorporation of technology makes your care both efficient and safe. We find that implementing digital impressions improves the accuracy of your fixed restoration, whether it be a new crown, bridge, or denture. The data can even be sent electronically to our partnering dental lab.
