Dr. Timothy J. Bulgerin was raised in Taylor, Texas. He attained his DDS degree from the Dental Branch of the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, working his way through school as a paramedic fire fighter.
Dr. Bulgerin has been practicing private general dentistry since 1990. He was the first dentist to provide dental care to the community of Hutto, Texas, opening his office in the very heart of historic downtown Hutto. He remains committed to continuing education, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in patient comfort, digital technology, and cosmetic procedures.
In his free time, Dr. Bulgerin enjoys traveling, scuba diving, hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his two children. He is also active in the Hutto community, sponsoring numerous youth athletic programs.
Our hygienist Lori has been with our office since November 2014. With 15 years of hygiene experience, you are in great hands. She is proud to live and work in Hutto, and it reminds her of growing up in her small hometown in Louisiana. She is gentle, yet thorough, and does her best to make sure her patients' visits are comfortable and pleasant. In her free time she enjoys reading, running, and shuttling her two teens around to their various activities.
Our Dental Assistant Selena is a new to the office! She has lived in Hutto for three years and just recently graduated from dental assisting school. She has two children and in her free time enjoys taking her kids swimming. Stop by today and say hello to the newest member of our Hutto Dental family!

I highly recommend Dr. Bulgerin and his staff. He is very friendly, funny and cares about his patients. I had a filling done and he was quick and it was relatively painless. He is great with kids too.

My wife had a root canal done and after months of pain she went to another dentist and was informed root canal was bad ,then she was sent to a specialist an he confirmed it was a bad job. Hutto dental wants us to pay for a bad root canal, not going to happen

I LOVE HUTTO DENTAL!!! I am 48. I had a traumatic dental experience when I was younger, as a result, I have been terrified of going to the dentist since I was a child. I have panic attacks, I cry and at times I can't even get out of the car. So since I avoided the dentist until I had an emergency, the visits lived up to my terrified expectations. We relayed all this information to Ms. Brenda when the initial appointment was made. I had a cleaning with Lori. She was AWESOME. She was so gentle but thorough. I did cry and I had a white nuckle grip on the chair. BUT... by the time she finished I was a little relaxed. Dr. Bulgerin came in to access the work I would need, he told jokes and I was laughing instead of crying. Ms. Brenda worked out a great plan for ALL the work I needed. Dr. B has great integrity. HE DOES NOT PERFORM UNNECESSARY WORK. That was almost two years ago. I am still in the process of completing repair for my years of neglect. Dr. B and Natalee are a great team for the procedures I have had completed thus far. Several fillings, root canals and a bridge. My husband and kids are patients also!! Because of their tender loving care, I am no longer afraid. They treat you like family.

By far the worst dental experience I have ever had. My first visit for a cleaning was fine. The lady was nice and I felt comfortable. However when I went back to get a filling it was beyond uncomfortable. The dentist and his assistant made several rude comments. I had told them before hand that I was nervous and instead of being kind they said "you need to put on your big girl panties". Several more comments similar to that were made. I ended up switching to another dentist and when they saw the followings the dentist at Hutto Dental had done they said "Did you get these fillings at Hutto Dental?". I said yes and asked how they knew. They said they had several patients switch from Hutto Dental to them and they could always tell because they filings were sloppy. Again, by far the worst dental experience I've ever had.

Finally!!!! If you are looking for your good old family dentist then look no further!! I had a false tooth that long story short had needed put back in my mouth some how with out it costing me $1500-2500 to fix...or at least someone willing to try and help me. Hutto Dental not only helped me when no one else would but went above and beyond and found a temporary fix until I can come back and get a more permanent solution And all in the same day I called in!!! The entire staff is so warm and welcoming...and easy going, I loved it! Thank you Hutto Dental for saving my day! I WILL most certainly be back ASAP and my family will be making you our only choice from now on. Y'all rock!

I went to this dentist originally to get a simple filling. The lady at the front counter was very nice and helpful. The dentist himself rubbed me the wrong way before I even met him. I was sitting in the waiting room, and I heard him talk to his clerk and refer to me as a "Little Boy" He asked her, "Is that little boy that needs all this work?" Very rude and disrespectful considering I am in my 20's and am not a little boy. I went into the dental office and was greeted by his female counterparts. They were nice and helpful. He then walked in the office, didn't introduce himself, and didn't allow me to introduce myself to him. He started off by saying "What tooth do you need fixed" In a very degrading voice. He then had his coworkers take an XRAY. After taking the XRAY, he started off by saying "Oh my god". Didn't tell me what was going on for a minute, so, I started to freak out as well. He started telling me that he would not touch my tooth and it needs a root canal and a crown. Hard to believe considering it has very little pain, but, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and go get a second opinion. He didn't explain much to me, and was not making me feel like I was taken care of. He told me "Where are you from", and I stated "Florida" and then he was trying to think of cheap places to go to in Florida. If you haven't been to a dentist in a while, and don't want someone to make you panic, I do not recommend him. Even if the issues he was telling me is true, he should of been there to make me comfortable and let me know i'm in good hands.
