Dr. James T.Hutta loves living in the city of Westerville and is so happy to now be an even bigger part of this thriving community. Dr. Hutta says It seemed like a natural fit to merge and serve the community that my brother and I both not only live in, but love being a part of. Westerville is a wonderful city. Weve both lived here for many years and think its a really special place. We couldnt think of a city wed rather build a practice together in than Westerville.

Raised in the Columbus area, Dr. Hutta graduated with honors from the Ohio State College of Biological Sciences and the Ohio State College of Dentistry. He then completed a three-year residency program specializing in orthodontics at the Eastman Dental Center, University of Rochester School of Medicine. He has been practicing orthodontics since 1992.
Staying current on the latest technology in orthodontics is a priority for Dr. Hutta so that he may provide the very best orthodontic care for his patients. Only the latest state-of-the-art technology is offered to his patients.
Dr. Hutta is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and International College of Dentists, and served on the Board of Directors of the Columbus Dental Society. He is also a past board member of the YMCA and Childrens Hospital Circle of Friends and participates in numerous study groups. Dr. Hutta was recently voted one of the top orthodontists in Columbus by his peers for 2014! He is one of 50 orthodontists in the world working to modify and improve technology.
Whats your favorite memory with your brother? Larry helped coach my summer baseball team while I was in little league and also the summer All Star team. When Larry would come out to the pitching mound, itd help me settle down and finish the inning strong. So those moments are some of my favorites.

Dr. Hutta graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he was selected into the prestigious dental honorary society, Omicron Kappa Epsilon. Dr. Hutta went on to complete his general dental residency and a two-year graduate program in orthodontics at Eastman Dental Center within the University of Rochester School of Dentistry. Dr. Hutta is a member of the prestigious American Association of Orthodontics, the Ohio Dental Association and The Columbus Dental Society. He also has the honor of being a Diplomate at The American Board of Orthodontics, a special distinction held by a select number of orthodontists. A proud supporter of the community, Dr. Hutta supports local elementary schools, gives scholarships to deserving high school graduates and teaches at OSUs College of Dentistry. He is the proud father of three girls, Lexie, Tori and Tayce. When hes not creating beautiful smiles, you can find Dr. Hutta at an OSU football or basketball game, playing golf, or spending time with family. Dr. Hutta resides in Westerville.
I also have great memories of holiday meals and hearing about my little brothers achievements as he completed college and got closer to his goal of becoming an orthodontist like his big brother! Hes amazing at what he does.
What is it like now working side-by-side in your own practice together? Love it!! Wish I would have done it earlier in our careers. For me it validated Jims work ethic and constant striving to be the best and want the best for our patients.

Went for an initial evaluation as referred by my child's dentist. Hutta and Hutta has a beautiful office space and we were immediately welcomed by staff. The entire experience was very smooth. The staff that helped us get the preliminary information and pictures were very kind and patient, answering questions and being very welcoming and accommodating to our needs at the time. I made an offhand comment about how everyone was very nice and the staff member told me immediately that they were a team led by the top down - Drs Hutta had set a tone of kindness and appreciation towards their staff that made it easy to work for them and to truly pass along the attitude towards the patient. This comment and the overall attitude/vibe of the office was truly appreciated by us, and their advice to wait before fully committing to treatment to see how teeth progressed over coming months made me comfortable knowing they weren't there to make a hard sale but to truly treat my child and his needs. We go back in a few weeks for that follow up appointment and I look forward to working with the practice to best meet the needs of my child.

Dr. Hutta and team were amazing! I had 3 daughters in braces as well as myself in Invisalign so we were in the office a lot! The staff was always quick to get us in for our scheduled (and non-scheduled) appointments. I would 100% recommend Hutta & Hutta Orthodontics!

Edit: Nearly 3 years later and we are finished with the orthodontic course Hutta and Hutta set. From first visit through treatment, they continued to be fantastic, even through Covid. Great people, great equipment, great process, superior results. Thanks again, Hutta and Hutta! Original review: I am not impressed easily, but Hutta & Hutta is impressive. From their clean and modern facilities, to their high-tech scanning tools, to their expertise and knowledge, this is a first-class shop. Always welcoming and smiling, it's a pleasure to visit their office. We are at the beginning of our journey with them, but all signs point to great success.

I have been using Dr. Hutta for over 12 years now and I can't imagine going anywhere else. From braces when I was younger to aligners for touchups as I'm getting older, my experience has been amazing. Not only is he super friendly , but his staff is awesome as well. I've been so impressed with the level of care at Hutta & Hutta. From the time you walk in until you leave you know they care. My daughters teeth have changed so much and are looking so much better it's amazing! I don't as surprised to hear that kids 8-9 should be seeing an orthodontist, but when Dr. Hutta told us all about the benefits BESIDES straight teeth I was shocked! Visit them today and learn more
