Dr. Lance Huthwaite has been practicing dentistry in Gainesville since 1994. He is a graduate ofWake Forest Universityand theMedical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. Dr. Huthwaite enjoys receiving many hours of continuing education each year. This allows him to provide his patients with the newest procedures and latest technology in an effort to create the most comfortable dental experience possible. Much of this training occurs at the Center for Advanced Dental Studies and the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry.
Dr. Huthwaite is a member of theNorthern District Dental Society, theGeorgia Dental Association, theAmerican Dental Association, and theHinman Dental Society. He is also a proud member of theAmerican Academy of Facial Estheticsand is certified in the administration of BOTOX for the treatment of TMJ pain, bruxism, and migraine headaches as well as the use of BOTOX and dermal fillers for cosmetic purposes.
Dr. Amy, CFO and co-owner of Huthwaite Family Dentistry, graduated from Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1994. She was inspired to become a dentist when her mother was diagnosed with oral cancer during Amys first year of college. She took time off from college to help care for her mother during the grueling months of surgeries and radiation treatments. Although the prognosis was not good, her mother survived. Twenty years later, Dr. Amy is proud to have her mom as a true success story: cancer-free with a beautiful smile! Dr. Amy pledges to treat each and every patient as she would want herself or a member of her family to be treated.
Dr. Amy is a member of the Hinman Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Northern District Dental Society, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She volunteers regularly at the Green Warren Dental Clinic at Good News at Noon. Dr. Amy is also a volunteer for Dental Lifeline Network which provides free dental care to people in need.
Dr. Amy and her husband, Steven Dupree, live in Dawsonville as 'empty nesters' with both daughters, Addison and Cosette, in college. With two dogs and two cats, Dr. Amy is an animal lover. Her free time is taken up with running, reading, camping, and enjoying her blessed life!
