Dr. Rhonda Hale Swanson grew up in central Kentucky. She received her bachelors degree in Biology at the University of Kentucky and attended dental school at the University of Louisville. She completed a general practice residency at UofL Hospital and has received multiple academic awards throughout her career. Dr. Swansons personal interests include horses and travel. She loves being on the farm and being with family and friends. Dr. Swanson enjoys building personal relationships with patients and is passionate about dentistry.
Dr. Amy E. Brown was born and raised in the South. She spent most of her youth in Alabama and she loves to visit whenever she gets a chance. She received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Auburn University and continued on to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. While attending UofL, she met her husband Dr. Austin Brown and they decided to stay in this great city after dental school. Following dental school, Dr. Amy Brown founded Hurstbourne Dental Care in 2003. Several years later, the Doctors were blessed with a beautiful baby girl named Annabelle. Annabelle has been known to make guest appearances in the office and is always willing to entertain. When Dr. Amy Brown is not working, she enjoys scrap booking, traveling, and being with her family. Due to life situations i havent been to the dentist in far too long. i knew i would need more than just a cleaning, i was nervous and these wonderful women made me feel so comfortable. They assured me with a discussed game plan how we could get my dental health back on track. They explained everything so i could understand, they were so nice and helpful. Dental can be costly and overwhelming but the staff here made me feel calm and confident. I am very happy with my choice and would highly recommend them!

I CAN NOT say enough great things about this place and my experience there. EVERY member of their staff is wonderful and there aren't many places I can say that about. They truly care about their patients and providing the best care possible. I have been going there for two years now and thanks to Dr. Swanson, I have a beautiful smile to show for it. I was someone who always hated going to dentist but they have changed my life and my confidence. If you are looking for a new dentist, look no farther! I will never go anywhere else and always recommend them whenever I can. Keep up the great work ladies!!

I've been a patient for many years and I like how the staff always makes me feel comfortable. Recently I had Dr. Swanson makeover my two front teeth and I'm blown away at how amazing they look! Always friendly service and great care. Lisa B.

Every single member of the staff always goes out of the way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I also feel completely safe from COVID when visiting the office! They go above and beyond always! I can't recommend them enough

Honestly one of the most friendly and relaxing buildings to walk into when talking about the medical field. Everyone is always in a fantastic mood, super friendly, and very jovial. 10/10 would recommend as the best dentist office in the city.

I don't normally like Dentists, but I had a great first visit. Gina was a great hygienist, and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Swanson let me make the decision on how to proceed with my dental care which I really liked.

Came in for a cleaning and xrays and have honestly never felt more welcomed. I have pretty severe anxiety and for me to feel entirely at ease in this setting says a lot. Everyone who helped me was incredibly down to earth and knowledgeable. Really love Dr. Swanson, she is looking to educate instead of sell you... which has been an issue for me with other dentists in the past. Highly recommend. Feeling so much better after this visit. :) -------- After having to go elsewhere after insurance changes and since returning I am happy to report this is still the best dentist in the area by far! Been a few years but they are always honest about treatment plans and never do unnecessary work. Was even advised against a cosmetic procedure I wanted because they felt it would be a detriment to my teeth. Really appreciate this place and the Dr. :)

Wow! Amazing Dental care. Absolutely top rated Dental care and Doctors.. Hospital is very clean and calm.. Mainly, they are doing very great and extra cautious during COVID-19.. It was my firstever Dental visit and Dr. & Team made everything ease and simple. I have received best service and care during my visits. Here the staff and Dr.s so friendly and they make you to feel the home and you are the part of their family. 'I'm so glad to be part of their family now". Thank You!!
