At Hurst Dental Health, you will feel safe and confident under the care of Jeffrey D. Hurst, D.D.S. Dr. Hurst graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1981 and has been practicing, here, in Jackson since 1982. Dr. Hursts mission is to provide excellent and gentle care to his patients through continued educational growth, a positive attitude, consistency, and teamwork!

Dr. Hurst participates in local, Jackson dental study club(s). Dr. Hurst is a member of the Spear Education Faculty Club in Scottsdale, Arizona and enjoys being part of a community of dentists committed to continued learning, professional growth and providing the best patient care. Dr. Hurst spends several weekends each year at Spear Education seminars and workshops furthering his knowledge in comprehensive restorative and esthetic dentistry.

Dr. Hurst grew up in Ann Arbor, MI and resides in Chelsea, MI with his wife, Colleen. Dr. Hurst values his role in providing lifelong dental care to patients in the Jackson area. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends along with playing the guitar.

Colleen started at Hurst Dental Health in July 2014 after 20-years as an administrative assistant with Washtenaw Intermediate School District. She graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors in Employment Relations in 1983. Colleen values getting to know all the patients and ultimately providing them friendly, knowledgeable and enjoyable service.

Colleen grew up in Ann Arbor, MI and resides in Chelsea, MI. Colleen enjoys spending her free time creating great memories with her husband, her large OSullivan family, friends and her four-legged canine pal, Ziggy.

Colleen belongs to BNI Jackson Synergistic Solutions a committed group of local businesses who meet weekly. BNIs principle core value is based on Givers Gain - if I help you, you will help me and well all do better as a result of it. Colleen also believes in another BNI core value, building relationships and this group is about cultivating these relationships.

Sandy has been a dental hygienist with Hurst Dental Health since 1982 and received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan in the same year! Sandy values providing personal and attentive dental health care to all her patients and enjoys sharing her educational tips on maintaining excellent oral health.

Wendy has been working in the dental field since 1992. She graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at Jackson Area Career Center. She earned her Associates Degree in Administrative Assisting from Baker College of Jackson while working for Dr. Hurst in 2010. She has returned to our office in the role of Relationship and Treatment Coordinator. Wendy enjoys welcoming patients and assisting them with their treatment and insurance coverage.

Wendy grew up in the country near Jackson and now lives near the lakes in Horton with her family. She enjoys spending time with her children and two dogs. Recently, she enjoys making her family homemade body products and cleaning products with essential oils.
