Dr. Hur started practicing Dentistry in the year 2000 in this current office. He graduated from Detroit Mercy's Dental School the same year. Dr. Hur has experience as a lab technician and his wife, Jane is still practicing and contributes in helping make our crowns. When not busy with the practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, Brian and Kevin. We are very proud to only use U.S.A. based lab products and materials because you deserve the best!
Our dental assistants include Edith and Shelly. They have the gift of anticipating all aspects of treatment and are masters of communicating even the most complex dental procedures. Edith is also Spanish bi-lingual. Our office is very lucky to have this level of expertise available to our patients!
Justen, Rossi,and Julie are our registered dental hygienists. They bring over 35 years of experience to our practice! They are dedicated to providing comprehensive and comfortable dental care and education to our patients. They are skilled in all areas of dental hygiene from simple cleanings to more complex periodontal treatments. Our Hygienists are trained and licensed to give nitrous oxide sedation and local anesthetics to provide a very comfortable experience for our patients.

Horrible!!!! Just horrible- thats all i can say. I brought my kid to see him on 2020 and all went well, 2023 came about and he said that becuase my kid had multiple cavities, that i should find another Peds. Dentist. I felt like even the nurses where kicking us out the office. Dr james hurr is also wierd. He kept saying "if kids dont like me" like my child was confused. I myself was confused, at his weird behaivor. Bottom line. Dont waist your time at this place. Find a better dentist.

had a root canal done I was freaking out but the doctor and the assistant made me very comfortable and the environment was relaxing

Do not waste your time.. the office worker are wonderful.. but Dr. Hur himself as a professional... is very unprofessional. ... my fiance had an appointment to get his tooth pull .. the day of scheduling he was told 230.. On Friday the office and Dr Hur number was called to confirm and verify appointment for Monday. No answer on either numbers. Most professional health business will call to verify appointment.. per Dr Hur his office does not due that.. but at 930 am Monday morning they called to verify. After calling numerous of times.. we get there for Dr Hur to integrate my fiance.. telling him he was late.. and then had the nerve to ask my fiance to show him proof that he was calling.. and my fiance showed him.. and he had nothing to say but try and reschedule.. he made us feel belittled.. and like kids.. and like we committed a crime.. I would not advice anyone to go to the office.. it's not worth the humiliation!

Terrible, Dude is a straight up con artist with no talent. Not only is he expensive as hell but I Could've pulled my tooth with less pain and infection at home. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT WASTW YIUR TIME AND MONEY.

I just moved to Wyoming recently and was in need of a new dentist. I found Dr. Hur's office just by doing a Google search of nearby dentists in my neighborhood, and I'm so glad I did! I went there for my very first visit last week and I was extremely impressed. The office itself is very warm and inviting. The ladies behind the front desk were all very nice and professional. Julie was my hygienist and she was superb! Always had a smile on her face and made me very comfortable. They have really covered all of their bases here, as far as thinking of little things to make the patient more relaxed. They offered me sunglasses during my cleaning, so I wouldn't be blinded by the overhead lights, while lying back and looking up at the ceiling. I was even more impressed by the fact that she administered lip balm for me, during the cleaning. I know that's a small detail, but for me it's huge, because I cannot tell you how many times I've been at the dentist and wanting to get out of the chair to reach for my chapstick during the cleaning, lol :) My lips tend to get pretty dry after sitting there with my mouth hanging open for 45 minutes, lol, so I was a very happy camper. Julie and Dr Hur also answered any questions I had and were both extremely helpful. I'm happy I have found my new dentist and I plan on remaining a patient here for as long as they'll have me :)

Dr. Hur is the ultimate professional dentist, so is his staff. He is not only 100 percent dedicated to his craft but he also finds the time to give back to the community and to worthy causes. He is caring, compassionate, and will make you feel at home throughout your dental visit. He has not only been there for me when I most needed dental care but also for my family. I started going to see Dr.Hur Almost 20 years ago. I had many problems with the work that my old dentist did. I was beside myself. Dr. Hur calmed me down and reassured me that he would make me be able to smile again. He Did!! He's very Professional, Kind , Understanding. His Office Help, His Assistants, are all very nice and polite. I feel Dr. Hur is very Knowledgable. This is a Dentist who knows what to do, how to do it, and he goes out of his way to work with his Patients. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hur to everyone.

Right off!!! I trusted this doctor to do the right thing for me. He sent me to a doctor who was not in my network to do a root canal and now I have to pay full cost! If you are going to refer someone why would you not make sure the doctor you are sending your client to is in the network!!!!! I could have found my own root canal doctor that would have been in network didn't need your referral!

I have had major dental work done at Dr. Hur's office. He and his staff are the best. They are always pleasant and professional. Dr. Hur is great at making a game plan for treatment and giving you options to your treatment. My teeth were pretty bad and having them fixed seemed overwhelming to me though Dr. Hur's treatment plan made it seamless and minimized my appointments by doing several teeth at once. I get a lot of compliments about my teeth now that I am not embarrassed to show them off when I smile. If you are looking for a dentist I highly recommend Dr. Hur.
