Dr. Justyna was born in Poland and did not receive the best dental care as a child. Thankfully, upon moving to the United States, she started seeing an orthodontist who was extremely personable and made her feel comfortable. This experience completely changed her outlook on dental health. As a result, she became very intrigued about the dental field and believed it was a place where she could excel! Later, in college, she started working for an orthodontist, becoming a licensed dental assistant and then a certified orthodontic assistant. By then, she knew that she wanted to apply to dental school and become an orthodontist as well and she hasnt looked back yet!

Dr. Justyna originally graduated from Stony Brook University, where she received her Bachelors in Biology with a specialization in Neuroscience and a minor in Womens Studies. She then chose to pursue her doctorate at the New York University College of Dentistry, where she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and awarded multiple service distinctions. After a year of general residency, she also underwent three years of an orthodontic residency program at St. Barnabas Hospital. There she was awarded Resident of the Year and completed the necessary schooling to become a true specialist.

Today, Dr. Justyna is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, which is a rare honor that involves the successful completion of multiple written and clinical examinations, as well as a strong commitment to continuing education. She is also a clinical professor for post-graduate residents at NUMC.

When she isnt busy at work, Dr. Justyna loves spending quality time with her husband Chris and their son Lucas, daughter Natalia, as well as nine nieces and nephews. Her hobbies include gardening, kickboxing, Pilates, hiking, boating around Long Island, and fishing. She is also very passionate about giving back and regularly participates in international dental outreach programs to provide care to underprivileged populations in Grenada and Jamaica.

Marybeth has been working in the oral healthcare field for over three decades now, and she loves caring for patients in her local community every day, as well as spending time alongside such a great team. She attended Nassau Community College and then studied dentistry at the Great Lakes Orthopedic Labs, where she worked as a technician and received certification in the fabrication and soldering of orthodontic appliances. She is also CPR certified.

Marybeth is married to her high school sweetheart and has three children named Nicole, Jessica, and John III. Her hobbies include gardening, swimming, going to concerts, traveling, and baking. She also loves horses and even bought her own as a teenager. She taught herself how to ride bareback and enjoyed it for many years before her children came along!

For Glenda, the best part of being a dental assistant is working with people in her community and sharing her orthodontic experience with new patients. She studied at Nassau BOCES, which is where she earned her certifications in dental assisting, CNA, and CPR. Born and raised in Huntington Station, she is looking forward to many more years of helping patients on their journey to their dream smile!

Away from the office, Glendas favorite thing to do is spend time with friends and family, especially when it involves going out for dinner, going to the movie theater, and shopping. Heres an interesting fact about her: shes bilingual in Spanish and English.

Originally from Hempstead, Veronica has four children and a little grandson. She spends her free time trying new foods, visiting new restaurants, and traveling. She is actually bilingual and speaks Spanish in addition to English.

Jesielle has been working in the oral healthcare world for over 10 years now, and she really enjoys spending time alongside such a great group of talented ladies here at Huntington Orthodontics! Originally from Levittown, she earned her education from Monroe Community College.

At home, Jesielle is married with two boys and a brand-new baby girl on the way too. She really enjoys spending quality time with friends and family when she isnt busy at the practice, as well as traveling to lots of exciting new places.
