Dr. Adamo Notarantonio is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine (2002), where he received honors in both removable and fixed prosthodontics. He completed his residency in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Stony Brook in 2003, and was chosen by faculty to complete a second year as Chief Resident.
Dr. Adamo was accredited byAmerican Academy of Cosmetic Dentistryin 2011, and recently received his Fellowship in the AACD. He is the only Accredited Fellow in New York State, and the 80th person worldwide to achieve this honor.He was further honored by the Academy when asked to serve as a consultant and examiner for the Accreditation and Fellowship processes.
In 2016, Dr. Adamo was awarded theAACDsRising Star Award.Dr. Adamo has been re-elected to serve on theAmerican Board of Cosmetic Dentistry,is the most recent past chairman of the ABCD, and has recently been appointedthe Accreditation Chairman of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Adamo is a graduate of theKois Center, where he studied under Dr. John Kois. He also has completedThe Dawson Academy Core Curriculum.Dr. Adamo has received his fellowship in theInternational Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has been published in multiple dental journals and lectures nationally and internationally on such topics as CAD/CAM dentistry, implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, composite dentistry and dental photography. Dr. Adamo also volunteers his time at the NYU College of Dentistry where he is a Clinical Instructor in the Honors Aesthetics Program.
Larissa Figari-Goller, DDS, FICOI, received her education as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from SUNY at Stony Brook, School of Dental Medicine in 2006. Dr. Figari-Goller then completed a one-year General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital. She was then selected to continue at North Shore University Hospital and completed a two year Fellowship in Advanced Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry. She focused intensely on the placement of implants and constructing teeth which are connected to implants.
She attends continuing education lectures monthly, has attended Dawson Courses and is agraduate of the Kois Center.She has been trained in CEREC, Itero and Planscan single visit crowns/ onlays and Invisalign. She has trained and has worked with sleep apnea specialists in our area in the fabrication of oral sleep appliances to assist in treating sleep apnea and as a replacement to the CPAP machine for many patients.
Dr. Figari-Goller treats patients who fear even walking into the dental office by working hard to make each and every patient feel comfortable. She takes the time to work with these patients individually based on their specific needs. Dr. Figari-Goller is experienced in all phases of cosmetic, implant, and restorative dentistry. Her goal is to give each patient the best treatment all under one roof.
Dr. Figari-Goller is currently working on her Masters in Public Health at Stony Brook so that she can continue to educate and provide dentistry nationally and internationally annually while travelling. She has traveled toNicaragua, Madagascar, the Dominican Republic, Kenya, the Philippines, Haiti, and Peru to provide dental treatment to patients in need and is always looking for somewhere else to make a difference in the care of patients.
She is a member of several professional organizations.American Dental Association,New York State Dental Association,Suffolk County Dental Society,Academy of Osseointegration,Fellow & member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, theKois Center,American Academy of Cosmetic DentistryandAmerican Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Figari-Goller was raised on the North Fork of Long Island and lives in Northport with her husband and two boys. She appreciates being near the water, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Dr.Julie DeSimone-Larsen received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Boston College in 2002. She graduated Summa Cum Laude which is the highest honor awarded to the top 4.5% of the graduating class. While at Boston College, she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society which recognizes the scholarship and character achievements of seniors, The Golden Key International Honor Society which recognizes the top fifteen percent of college juniors and seniors, and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars which recognizes the academic achievement of college freshmen and sophomores. She made the Deans List every semester. She was a member of the Boston College Dance Ensemble, a student-run organization where she was a choreographer and performer. All proceeds the Dance Ensemble generates from their performances benefits the Boston College Campus School, a non-profit special education day school for students ages 3-21.
Dr. DeSimone-Larsen earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. She was inducted into the Matthew Cryer Honor Society which honors the ten highest-ranked students at the completion of second year and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society which honors the top twelve percent of students at the completion of fourth year. Dr. DeSimone-Larsen also earned the National Board Achievement Award for outstanding achievement on The National Dental Board Examination Part II, The Professor Morton Amsterdam Award for demonstrating outstanding ability in comprehensive treatment planning and patient care, The Henry B. Robinson Award for the fourth year student who has demonstrated the highest proficiency in all phases of clinical dentistry, The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology Horace Wells Senior Student award for outstanding achievement in the field of dental anesthesiology, and The Anna & Dr. Wolf Award given to a deserving senior student. She was a Deans Scholar all four years of dental school.
Dr. DeSimone-Larsen then completed the General Practice Residency program at North Shore University Hospital. At the completion of the program, she was selected to their 2-year Fellowship in Advanced Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry. This is an intensive program focused on the placement and restoration of dental implants as well as comprehensive treatment planning and full-mouth rehabilitation.
In 2011, she became a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society, the Suffolk County Dental Society, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. DeSimone-Larsen has a passion for education. She has participated as a volunteer professor of Gross Anatomy at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. She participates monthly in continuing education and is part of a local SPEAR Study Club with local specialists. SPEAR Study Clubs integrate evidence based clinical instruction and online learning while utilizing interdisciplinary collaboration.
When Dr. DeSimone-Larsens not at the office, shes spending time with her family. She lives in East Northport with her husband, Andy Larsen, and their children. She is a huge New York sports fan and a decade-long fantasy football player. She enjoys cooking, baking, reading, music and yoga.

Dr. Adamo's skills are superior. He exceeded my expectations. He is the best cosmetic dentist there is and I don't mind traveling 1.5 hours to go see him. His qualifications is a reflection of his talent. The staff is incredibly friendly and always accommodating. Just a great practice overall!

Still receiving compliments on my teeth bonding from May 2019. Dr. Larisa and staff helped me with a tooth 911. I fell and chipped my 4 front teeth. The miracle of modern dentistry and my appreciation of a professional staff, office and equipment are much deserved. Too many times in life we only hear and give complaints. Just wanted to say again how pleased I am with the restoration job. Only when recounting the story do I even think about the tooth trauma ! EVERYONE in the office is great !

First off I am very fearful of the dentist. I called HBD and had the pleasure of speaking with Laurie. She was the sweetest receptionist I've ever dealt with in my entire life. She spoke to me like I was family. So going in I was pretty optimistic. I barely waited 5 minutes and Stacy brought me back. She was a delight. Dr.Devin put my mind at ease, reassured me I was in good hands without having to say it. She was amazing. I also got to talk with Dr.Adamo. He was extremely professional, friendly and kind. I was taken back and blown away by everyone at this practice. I will be going in next week and for once I have the confidence that they truly care about their patients and I'm not just a number. I will never go to another dentist again. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Adamo is an amazing dentist. Before I found his office I had many bad experiences and was always nervous to even get my cleanings. But now I am finally free of my fear! Dr. Adamo is very talented, professional yet kind and caring person. He will never push any unnecessary procedures on you and goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is as painless and quick as possible. His office staff is also phenomenal, super efficient & friendly. My family & I have been going to Huntington Bay Dental for the last 10 years and after each visit walked away smiling. Thank you Dr. Adamo for taking such great care of your patients!

Dr. Adamo is an excellent dentist with the latest technology and skills. He is also a problem solver and out of the box thinker. He figured out that my gum and teeth pain, in the left side of my face, was caused by fluid in my nasal cavity. The inlay he did was excellent and the tooth looks so natural. The other work he did was also excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Adamo not only for skills but for his bedside manner. In addition, he very honest.

Top to bottom Hunting Bay is wonderful, I am a patient of Dr Fagari she is so warm and friendly and you know you have very talented dentist if your like me I am a diabetic and I healed from an extraction the following day. 5 stats all the way .

I have been a patient of your practice well over 20 years. The service provided has always been professional and everyone very pleasant and accommodating. I recently came in to have a damaged crown replaced which is a two visit appointment. I wanted to pay the bulk of the amount due ($1000) after the first visit and the balance after the permanent crown was placed. I was told unless I paid the entire bill up front, that I would not be offered the 10% "courtesy discount". Being a business owner I completely understand about being paid in a timely fashion. However, as an established patient who has probably paid your practice well over $25000 over the years and mind you always in a timely fashion, to be expected to pay for an entire procedure prior to being completed to receive a "courtesy discount" has left a very bad taste in mouth. You have asked me for my feedback and here it is.
