A dental implant can do wonders for self-esteem, because it feels and looks like a normal tooth. Many people who were shy about smiling because of a space from a lost tooth feel more comfortable after a dental implant. Beyond the aesthetics, a dental implant also makes it easier to eat and speak, because a dental implant acts like an artificial root to replace lost or damaged tooth. A surgical procedure is done, and their placement is made in the bone under the gum. Their integration into the body lasts up to six months to restore crowns, bridges or dentures mobilized.

A bridge may be recommended if you are missing one or more teeth. Gaps left by missing teeth eventually cause the remaining teeth to rotate or shift into the empty spaces, resulting in a bad bite. The imbalance caused by missing teeth can also lead to gum disease and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders.
Bridges are commonly used to replace one or more missing teeth. They span the space where the teeth are missing. Bridges are cemented to the natural teeth or implants surrounding the empty space. These teeth, called abutments, serve as anchors for the bridge. A replacement tooth, called a pontic, is attached to the crowns that cover the abutments. Bridges are cemented onto a teeth or implants and are not able to be removed by you.
While crowns and bridges can last a lifetime, they do sometimes come loose or fall out and even get a cavity. The most important step you can take to ensure the longevity of your crown or bridge is to practice good oral hygiene. A bridge can lose its support if the teeth or bone holding it in place are damaged by dental disease. Keep your gums and teeth healthy by brushing with fluoride toothpaste twice a day and flossing daily. Also see your dentist and hygienist regularly for checkups and professional cleanings.

This is an amazing dental office. Dr. Shepanski is a skilled and compassionate dentist. The staff is welcoming and treat you like family. The office is beautiful. They are amazing at explaining treatment and walking you through the process and no pain. I highly recommend!!!

I didn't know dentistry could be so painless. They really go the extra mile to ensure you're the most comfortable you can be. Starting with my cleaning, the hygienist had the most delicate hand. This office was truly a first class experience. The staff was incredibly respectful and kind. The hygienist, Victoria, was very gentle and thorough with my cleaning. She is by far the best hygienist. Dr Shepanski is amazing, very knowledgeable doctor and patient! I highly recommend this office.

I'm so happy I decided to choose this office! My insurance changed so I had to find a new dentist. Amy is so kind and very helpful. My hygienist was AMAZING. She was very detail oriented and made sure to repeat information to make sure I truly understood. She went through each step with me and explained my xrays in detail. My previous dentist kept recommending me to purchase a waterpik for flossing. I asked her if I needed one, and she was straightforward and honest with me. She told me because my teeth are tight together, a waterpik wouldn't even be useful for me because the water won't get flushed through the teeth. Thank you for saving me money! Highly recommend this place!
