Dr. Anthony Marra was born and raised in Fairmont, West Virginia. He attended West Virginia University, where he majored in biology and minored in communications and history from 2002-2006. After undergraduate studies, he attended West Virginia School of Dentistry from 2006-2010 where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Layne graduated Magna Cum Laude as a biology major from West Virginia University. He then attended West Virginia University School of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2008.
My name is Dana and I have been practicing dental hygiene for over 35 years. I completed my dental hygiene studies at Guilford Technical Community College in 1984 and subsequently earned my Bachelors Degree in Health Education from North Carolina State University in 1990.
Hello! My name is Nichole. I graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at CPCC in 2013 and I have been practicing ever since! I joined Huntersville Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in April of 2016 and I could not ask for a better work family!
My name is Janelle. I was born and raised in Southern Oregon. My husband and I moved to Charlotte 8 years ago. We have a 10 month old daughter and 2 English bulldogs. I enjoy cooking, gardening, wine, and all things bulldogs.
Dr. Anthony Marra was born and raised in Fairmont, West Virginia. He attended West Virginia University, where he majored in biology and minored in communications and history from 2002-2006. Dr. Marra is active in a variety of civic and cultural organizations. He is an advocate for proper dental care in under-served third-world countries. He has traveled to Central and South America on dental and Medical missions brigades. In 2009, Dr. Marra traveled to Guatemala as a dental student. In 2013, Dr. Marra married his wife Aundrea Lynn Marra, MD who is an OB/GYN in the Huntersville area. They have 3 children, twins (Antonio and Arabella born in 2015) and a son (Adrian born in 2017) Dr. Marra is an active member American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Prosthodontic Society, and SPEAR continuing education curriculum. Dr. Marra Enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and golfing.
Dr. Layne grew up in Charleston, West Virginia where his grandfather was a dentist for 30 years. He went to his grandfathers basement for check ups throughout his younger life and developed a passion for becoming a dentist. He graduated Magna Cum Laude as a Biology major from West Virginia University. He then attended West Virginia School of Dentistry and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2008.
Dr. Layne devotes himself to continuing education and has received advanced training in many aspects of dentistry. He enjoys improving smiles while maintaining an honest and comprehensive approach to oral healthcare. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and participates in the Spear Education curriculum.
Dr. Layne served in the Chicago area for twelve and a half years prior to relocating to North Carolina to be closer to family and enjoy the beautiful state. He has been happily married for four years and enjoys hiking, biking, sports, and spending time with family, friends, and his familys two dogs.
I have worked primarily in the area of general dentistry but have also enjoyed working in oral surgery and pediatric dentistry as well. My husband and I are North Carolina natives and raised our three children here in Huntersville. We love the LKN area and all it has to offer. Being a part of Huntersville Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is a wonderful experience and Im excited to be here as we grow to meet the needs of our patients.

My first visit with this office exceeded my expectations. I came in, noting current anxiety due to one past negative dental experience, and they very intentionally helped make my visit pleasant and enjoyable. Dana was my technician and I cannot begin to describe how friendly, educated and kind she was to me. The dentist, front office staff and technicians very clearly work well together making the experience cohesive and pleasant from start to finish. Thank you again!

Dr. Marra and Dr. Layne are both amazing dentists. Their attention to detail and bedside manner are top notch. I had one of the most painless cleanings I've ever had with Dr. Layne. Tabitha and the rest of the staff are some of the nicest people you could meet. Top notch dental practice here!

I had the most pleasant repair of a cracked tooth! Dr. Lane and Janell walked me through the whole process with a relaxing and comforting bed side manner. I was truly comforted during what could have been and usually is a painful process. My experience with Huntersville Family & Cosmetic Dentistry was a delight. I look forward to having more work done!

I have been seeing Dr. Marra here for years and he is the best dentist I've ever had. Office staff is wonderful as well. Recently I had an acute issue and saw Dr. Layne. He is every bit as professional, helpful, and compassionate as Dr. Marra. Really excellent practice and you can't go wrong with either provider.

Can say enough good things about HFCD. From the moment you call for an appointment until you leave the office, everyone is sooooo nice,helpful and professional. DDS Marra is very gentle and careful not to cause undue pain. Also, he does not "invent" work. Very trustworthy.

I have had constant dental issues since I was very young. I spent many years in the dental chair. Dr. Marra has gone way beyond 'above and beyond'. I had some implant hardware that his practice did not use. He actually went out and got the equipment, just to help me. This took much time and effort. He is thoughtful, as well as everyone on his team, they care. I am on a full path to a healthy set of teeth for the first time in my life. He collaborates with 2 other specialists in the area, which gives you a comprehensive care plan. You get a team. When you see people working together for your best interest, and not just theirs, that tells you everything you need to know. Above all else, Dr. Marra is just one cool dude.

I've been a patient of Dr. Marra and his staff for about 5 years now. Dr. Marra is absolutely the most skilled and knowledgeable dentist I've ever met. He had the precision and artistry of a Swiss watchmaker when he did my crowns. His office and the equipment have always been spotless. With COVID-19, they have added some air filtering/sanitizing systems and implemented additional procedures to keep the patients and staff healthy. I highly recommend Dr. Marra as his staff if you need a dentist.
