I worked a lot of jobs before making this decision. Flipping burgers, Land clearing, Pitching watermelons, laying sodIm glad I had the opportunity to work these jobs. However, at some point a few years after high school, I decided to take the leap and go to school full time. First I thought I wanted to be a physical education teacher, but after 1 year of substitute teaching I realized that I still had not figured out what I really wanted to do for a living. I got some advice to think about what I enjoyed as a child and I loved going to the dentist when I was a kid. So I decided to visit some dental offices. I volunteered, and the more I was around it the more I loved it. I loved meeting new people. Helping them out was like nothing I had done before. Now, a decade later I can say a career in dentistry is the perfect fit.
It was either this or a sporting goods store (just kidding). I worked as a dentist at a few other offices. At one point, I thought I was going to buy in to an existing practice. In the end this was the very best option for a million reasons and I went for it.
I am passionate about making sure that each person that I come in contact with is satisfied with my work. If they are not, I know I have not done my job. I enjoy meeting new people, learning new procedures and learning new ways of doing things. I enjoy seeing people from all walks of life and of all ages. If you want me to look in your mouth, Im there!

I love hunter dental. They are quick, efficient and compassionate. My only complaint is they have nothing on the ceiling for me to focus on. I have to stare at the ceiling or close my eyes. but other than that I have no complaints.

Dr. Hunter and staff are fantastic!! Our entire family sees Dr. Hunter and my kids get legitimately excited for a trip to the dentist.

Hunter Family Dentistry provides excellent dental care in a friendly atmosphere. I've been a patient for several years and have always been pleased with the care. Dr. Hunter is skilled and caring and takes the time needed to explain everything clearly. The hygienists are excellent and have done a great job keeping my teeth clean. The practice runs on time and you can count on being seen at the time of your appointment. I have nothing but good things to say about Hunter Family Dentistry. I'm glad I chose them and my wife and I are very pleased with the care that they provide.

Dr. Hunter is very personable, but was also thorough when examining my problem tooth. It was nice to know that he doesn't recommend the most expensive procedure to start, but does a process of elimination. His recommendation was right on target and now my problem tooth is a problem no more.

I have been going to Hunter Family Dentistry for around five years. The staff overall are knowledgeable and very friendly. Dr. Hunter does an excellent job. All procedures that I have needed have been done very well and with good outcomes.

Dr Hunter and his staff are very welcoming and professional and made my dental surgery experience very positive. Dr Hunter is very gentle and calm and kept me informed of everything he was doing. His assistant Hailey was also very supportive and patient. All of his staff are very competent and kind. Nancy at the desk is very helpful and explains my billing and insurance well and patiently. He also has good gentle hygienists. I highly recommend this practice. My husband and I love them all.

As always, the staff at Hunter Dentistry were friendly, kind, and compassionate as they took care of my teen and myself yesterday. They thoroughly explain procedures and options about our care with the best detail. My daughter had sealants applied to her 8 molars and they were so wonderful with her throughout. Dr Hunter is warm, personable, and very knowledgeable in his field. We will return again and again :)
