Dr. Rhodes is part of a Hunt Valley tradition of comfort and care. He is a 1979 graduate of the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and a past Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Buffalo. He has dedicated his professional career to providing you with the best that dentistry has to offer.
Dr. Rhodes is continually educating himself and his team on the newest dental approaches in order to provide you with advanced, comfortable and personalized dental care. In his continuing education, Dr. Rhodes has completed courses in Infection Control, Veneers, Bonding, Implants, Posterior Composites, Micro Abrasive Dentistry, Esthetic Dentistry, Sedation, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Laser Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Christian Medical and Dental Society, the Crown Council and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS). He has also received training in cosmetic dentistry at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies.
On a personal note, Dr. Rhodes is married to Terri and has two grown boys, Geoffrey and Griffin. He is active in his church, is an avid kayaker, loves to tour on his motorcycle and always has a book to read.
One of our dental hygienists, Barbara has been caring for patients with this practice since 2001. She is a graduate of the University of Marylands Dental Hygiene program. Barbara has extensive experience working with patients of all ages and has a passion for children and our senior citizens. She works hard to ensure that all patients have a great dental experience while in her care.

I'm so very happy I found Dr. Rhodes while parking at the giant. I have never been a fan of the dentist. Even as a child, they scared me. Which led to not to many appointments as an adult. Well, it's now time to pay the piper. Dr. Rhodes and his team talked to me, texted me and called me for reassurance. I had to have MAJOR dental work/surgery that I was petrified to get, so I just kept pushing it back. Well, after meeting with Dr. Rhodes and his team, I had the surgery done yesterday with sedation. They explained everything from beginning to end. No pain at all. Slight swelling today. I am a o glad I found you Dr Rhodes and your staff. Thank you, thank you. I now feel comfortable smiling.

The staff was super friendly and personal. The Dr. was outstanding and found my pain issues quickly. He explained everything to me and tooth removal was painless. It was an excellent visit and I'm pain free.

Called yesterday at almost closing and the lady that answered the phone couldn't have been more help. Not from the area and needed to get in ASAP. She got me in today, office was great and everyone in the office was helpful and extremely nice. The work that was done was great and I was in and out. 10/10 would recommend, and come again.

Dr. Rhodes is an excellent dentist. He has been doing dental work on my teeth for over 15 years. His expertise in dentistry is phenomenal. He is very gentle with his work. He has state-of-the-art equipment. He is a very nice and respectful person. His staff are great people who welcome a very friendly and fun atmosphere. I would recommend him to be your dentist. He is the best.

Today was my first dental appointment since the Covid-19 pandemic began. Over the past few months, I was very apprehensive to schedule a dentist appointment due to my concerns about contracting the virus. However, I finally decided that I didn't want to experience problems with my teeth as a result of skipping my cleaning and exam. I was very impressed with the thorough and comprehensive Covid-19 protocols that Dr. Rhodes and his team put in place. You can read about them on their website. During my visit, I felt safe, and was pleased to see that Dr. Rhodes and his team did the due diligence to create a safe environment for both the patients and the staff. Pleasantly surprised is an understatement! I've spent some time in different dentist's offices, and Dr. Rhodes and his staff are absolutely amazing. I won't go anywhere else after this. I'm so happy to be able to say I just experienced a nearly pain free root canal! I never thought I'd be able to honestly say that! If there were six stars Hunt Valley Dental would have them from me. Highly recommend. Especially for folks who might have anxiety from bad past experiences.
