Dr. Sage Humphries is a Southern California native. After graduating from Laguna Beach High School Dr. Humphries attended the University of California at Irvine where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Upon graduating he was elected into both the Golden Key and Phi Beta Kappa national honor societies. Dr. Humphries did not stray far from home when selecting a dental school where he attended the University of California at Los Angeles. Graduating with honors from UCLA he received numerous awards for his academic and clinical performance and was elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society. Subsequently, Dr. Humphries made the trek across Los Angeles to the University of Southern California where he completed three years of specialty training in orthodontics. Dr. Humphries received his Certificate of Achievement in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Craniofacial Biology from USC. Additionally, he was elected into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society.

Dr. Alene Humphries comes from a close-knit family with many dentists, so it is no surprise how she ended up an orthodontist. Dr. Alene Humphries always had great interest in the field and even worked in an orthodontic office after school as a high school student.
After receiving her B.S. from UCSD, Dr. Alene Humphries went on to attend the University of California, San Francisco where she graduated with honors. Upon graduating from UCSF, she was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) dental honor society for her outstanding academic and clinical achievements.
After leaving the beautiful Bay area, she headed directly back to sunny Southern California where she completed three years of specialized training in orthodontics at the University of Southern California. Dr. Alene Humphries received her Certificate of Achievement in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Craniofacial Biology from USC. Upon graduating, she was elected into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society.
Dr. Humphries always goes the extra distance to make your smile as great as it can be. Your treatment plan and treatment will all be completed by Dr. Humphries and the Humphries Orthodontics Team. Dr. Humphries is an orthodontist with a M.S. degree in craniofacial biology. To be an orthodontic specialist you must go through additional schooling dedicated to the art and science of moving teeth.

I am usually a really anxious person when it comes to going to the dentist/ortho, but I have to say everyone at Humphries has been beyond amazing. They have explained things step by step, been patient, flexible with scheduling , & have made sure I felt comfortable the entire process. The entire staff has been friendly and I could not recommend this place more!

Everyone was Great, Doctors had great attention to detail, did not try to rush the process of installing or removing my braces. After Care was great. Getting my braces was a long time coming they were amazing! Thanks!

Finished my journey with Humphries dentist and got my braces off today. I liked that I didn't spend much time waiting after checking in. Meaning I'd check in, wait 2-5 minutes and they called me in. Everyone on the team is friendly and answers questions you may have.

This has been a great experience from start to finish all staff and doctors have been very helpful and answer all questions throughout all my visit. My teeth look so much better than before thanks to the awesome team that works here in the Artesia location. Painless process from the placement of the braces to the removal. Would recommend to everyone and anyone who is looking 100%.

I've been to this place for 3 years and this is a great experience I got my braces off today and it didn't hurt at all. They are very efficient and have great staff members!

Very great staff and environment!! I was so excited so finally get braces, but even more excited to get them off. With everyone here, it was a great experience and they always made sure I was comfortable and had and knew everything I needed to know and have. The wait to get my teeth to the way it is now was worth it thanks to staff :)
