Dr. Julie Humphries was born and raised in Topeka, KS. She attended Baker University and graduated in 2001. In 2005, she completed dental school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. Dr. Julie then attended a one year residency in Advanced General Dentistry at the University of North Carolina and returned to Johnson County in 2006. She practiced in Olathe, KS for six years before establishing Humphries Family Dentistry.
Julie and her husband, Jeff, have lived in Gardner since 2010; together they have two children, Carley and Harrison. Jeffs family is from Gardner and he has very fond memories of spending summers here while he grew up on the east coast. Julie and Jeff have come to love the close-knit community and feel blessed to be raising their family here. Besides her family, Dr. Julies true passion is dentistry; however, she also enjoys cooking, baking, reading and mommying.

Our goal is to administer the highest quality care to our patients using the most compassionate means possible, in order that they maintain their oral health indefinitely. We practice using the philosophy that successful dentistry involves two major components: quality restorative services and education to preserve and sustain the completed work. We are prepared and excited to provide you with both.
Margaret has been working in dentistry for nearly 10 years and got her start in pediatric dentistry. Margaret serves as our Treatment and Scheduling coordinator as well as our insurance communication specialist. Margaret is a friendly and helpful voice when you call HFD. Her contagious personality will brighten your day!
Tracie has been involved in dentistry for nearly 20 years and is truly a Jill-of-all-trades. Tracie trained as a dental assistant and currently works chairside with Dr. Humphries as well as managing many of the front office details. Tracies knowledge of all things dentistry is invaluable to the daily flow of the office.
Angie began her dental career as a dental assistant before completing dental hygiene school at Johnson County Community College. Angie has worked with Dr. Humphries since the practice began. Angie has a genuine investment in her patients overall health and comfort. Her experience on both the restorative and hygiene sides of dentistry contribute to her knowledge and comprehensive understanding of dental health.
Robin joined our practice in May of 2015, also with animmense background in the periodontal specialty. Robin has worked in dentistry for over 20 years. She enjoys the opportunity to develop relationships with her patients with the goal of optimum oral health. Robins charm and quick wit make her patients forget theyre even at the dentist!
Jennifer joined Humphries Family Dentistry in the spring of 2018 and serves as a dental hygienist. Her desire for continued education in the most recent dental advancements prove crucial to the comprehensive treatment of her patients. Jennifer has a gentle hand, comprehensive dental background and sincere investment in her patients overall health.

I have been to numerous dentists, Dr. Humphries, is by far THE BEST! Not only does she practice amazing dentistry! But, she makes the experience almost pleasant, even for terrified people like me.. She is wise, witty, hilarious, and professional, all at once! And, the icing on the cake... Her team is amazing as well! I highly recommend her to every family searching for an amazing dentist!

Went to 1st appointment and never went back. Was told I needed a ton of work done but had been to a dentist months earlier with no problems. Chose to get another opinion and didn't need all the work done after all. This was almost 2 years ago and so happy I saw the red flags and moved on.

Dr. Humphries and her staff are amazing. Great "bedside" manner!! She is honest and gave us all options for our situation. Provides quality work. I highly recommend to all for anything from normal checkups to the most complicated procedures. She cares about her patients and it shows!!!

Always very professional and cheereful. I've been seeing Julie since she was in Olathe and followed her to her practice in Gardner. My mother and friends whom I sent have also been very satisfied with Humpheries dental.

Love is a word thrown around way too easily without true meaning in today's world. (Love - a great interest and pleasure in something.) I can honestly say that since I have to go to a dentist I do love Dr Humphries and her staff. At my age I have been to quite a few dentists in my days and I can honestly say this is the best place to go. I love the family atmosphere and the kindness of everyone there. I handle pain well but not when it comes to needles. She is great at making sure you don't feel that poke to often. If you want a great dentist to go to this is the place to go. Oh yeah... If you're real good and ask nicely she may let you have some nitrous gas to help calm your nerves and reduce the potential pain. (hahahaha!!!)

Great office! Helped me diagnose some pain in my jaw and didn't keep charging me as we made adjustments. They've always been very forthcoming with costs. Love these folks!
