Dr. Brownridge received his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Southern Oregon State College before attending the University of Pacific in San Francisco with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He began practicing at Hughes Dental Group in September of 1979 and continuously strives to provide his patients with the highest standard of dental care available.

Committed to continuing education, Dr. Brownridge maintains memberships with such professional organizations as the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Tau Kappa Omega Dental Honor Society, Santa Clara Dental Society and the Delta Sigma Delta Dental Society.

Dr. Brownridge was born in Santa Cruz and raised in Vallejo, California. He and his wife currently reside in Campbell with their three children. During his leisure time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling and cooking. He also enjoys being involved with his childrens sporting activities such as basketball, soccer, baseball and volleyball.

Dr. Thomas Hughes is the son of Dr. John A. Hughes, the founder of Hughes Dental Group. He grew up in Santa Clara County and attended UC Davis for his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. After graduating from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1987, he joined his fathers practice and has been delivering outstanding care ever since.

He is dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest trends in the field of dentistry, and maintains memberships with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Santa Clara Dental Society.

He and his wife live in Saratoga with their son. Away from the office he enjoys hiking and backpacking. An avid cyclist, Dr. Hughes often cycles to and from work. He is also a pilot and a member of the Flying Doctors.

Dr. Marks received his B.S. from UC Berkeley before earning his D.D.S. from the UOP School of Dentistry in San Francisco. He has been a proud member of Hughes Dental Group since 1988. He is also a member of the Santa Clara County Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Although he sees patients of all ages, his passion is treating older patients with complex medical and dental issues. This passion was fueled by serving patients with unique needs in the years he worked in various Bay Area skilled nursing facilities.

From his years of practicing dentistry and taking greater than 1,500 hours of continuing education courses, Dr. Marks has successfully blended his skill and his compassion into the ability to offer high quality dental care in a most caring and considerate manner. Dr. Marks likes to make sure his patients have every question answered before and after any dental procedure. He knows each patient is unique and 'one size dentistry' does not fit every patient. What works for one patient may or may not be the best treatment for another. Dr. Marks will work with his patients to come up with the best treatment plan for that individual.

Dr. Marks is a big 49ers fan! He has endured the ups and downs of the team since the John Brodie era. He looks forward to the ups once again in the upcoming season. Dr. Marks also loves to travel. Australia, Ecuador and Peru have been postponed due to Covid-19 but future reservations include New Zealand, the South Pacific and a return trip to China.

Dr. Marina is a graduate of The University of Southern California School of Dentistry. She has been practicing dentistry in the Bay Area for several years. Dr. Marina is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society. She values continuing education and takes an active part in several local study clubs, like SPEAR and Implant Institute.

Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Marina was a practicing dental hygienist. She has great passion for prevention and education of oral disease. Dr. Marina takes time to educate patients on proper oral hygiene routine, prevention, treatment of disease and maintenance of oral health.

Dr. Ram is a Kansas native, but moved to California where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. She later completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Dr. Ram is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Santa Clara County Dental Society. She also keeps up with current science and literature through participation in study clubs and Spear Education courses.

Dr. Ram enjoys providing compassionate, gentle care to all patients. She has a specific interest in restorative, cosmetic, and family dentistry, as well as Invisalign treatment. Dr. Ram also likes to spend quality time with patients to focus on prevention and oral health education.

Minh earned a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences from UC Davis in 2002. In 2007, he graduated from Foothill College with a degree in Dental Hygiene; he was the only male student in his class. Minh belongs to the American Dental Hygienist Association. He has been with Hughes Dental Group since October 2007. Minh is a fan of the SF 49ers, Golden State Warriors and the SF Giants. He also likes working on his car, trying new restaurants and reading comics.

Julie earned her Associate's Degree in Dental Assisting from San Jose City College in 2006. After working six years as an R.D.A. in an orthodontic practice she decided to pursue dental hygiene. In 2015, she graduated from Foothill College in Los Altos with an Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene. In her spare time, you can find her cheering on the San Jose Sharks, Golden State Warriors, and the San Francisco Giants and spending time with her niece. Julie has a warm and caring chair-side manner and is often complimented by patients on how gentle she is during cleanings.
