I went to Dr. Dowdy for two wisdom teeth extractions and he did a wonderful job. The overall experience was very efficient and productive. The staff is very nice. The office is clean and modern. Their tools appear to be very new and modern. He was much more friendly to my mouth than previous dentists have been. Fair price. I highly recommend.

I've just recently started going to this dentist in May, after not having been to a dentist at all in over 10 years... needing a good bit of fillings done, and a good cleaning, they were very friendly, and worked with me on everything! (My reasons for not having gone to a dentist in so long before now was due to so much trauma as a late teenager and having gone to a different dentist, he did not numb me at all when I had to get four deep fillings done and it hurt me so badly that I was terrified of ever going back!) Fast Forward to the last couple of months and 4 different appointments I've been to now, and I can honestly tell you that Dr. Dowdy is by FAR the best dentist in the area to go to! He was so kind, gentle, and very understanding of my fear.. he made sure I wouldn't feel anything before he ever started the fillings, and constantly asked me if I was okay during the process to make sure I was comfortable. During my visit this afternoon, he even offered a blanket in case I was cold! I felt very as ease and knew I had nothing to fear. I'm so grateful they were able to work me in as a new patient, and got me in very quickly! The staff is very kind and friendly, always in a great mood and making you feel welcome! I will definitely continue going here from now on, and will definitely recommend this Dentist's office to anybody looking for a new place to go! And they prices are very fair, they had no issues with my insurance.. they let me know well ahead of time before my next appointment what to expect to pay out of pocket, if anything at all! With all this being said, if you're looking for a new dentist this is definitely the place to go!! I highly recommend them, and I can guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Dr. Dowdy is great! He's a gentle and kind dentist, and he's awesome at his job. I was able to make an appointment immediately after I chipped my tooth, and he fixed it really fast as well. Everyone in the office was super friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Dowdy!

This DDS does good work but my wife and I ran into a few issues we just could not overlook. First, I had an appointment and they thought I was 5 minutes late. They tried to cancel even though I was in the parking lot waiting for them to tell me to come in. Fast forward 6 months I am there for another cleaning. They had me wait for 45 minutes. This seems like a glaring double standard. Second, my insurance was being canceled and so I asked if they could move my appointment by two weeks in order to have it covered by my remaining coverage. They very quickly declined and said they could not move any appointments. As this was not their fault I understood. However, two weeks later they call me and say they have to push back my appointment because the dentist is going out of town. Again, a double standard. I decided to go in for another cleaning. After waiting for 25 minutes I was done. I told them this was highly unprofessional and I would be going somewhere else. They said it wasn't their fault. The work they do is fine, the way they treat their customers is inexcusable.

Great dentist and staff. Friendly, pleasant and clean environment. Thankful we have a dentist of this caliber in our small town.

Dr Dowdy and his entire staff are AWESOME!!! Had an Abscessed tooth alot of infection. Alot of pain. Dr Dowdy pulled tooth. Very little pain what so ever. If I ever have another issue. I will totally go back to see Dr. D. Aka Dr Dowdy. Thank u again to u and ur staff. For yalls professionalism and amazing , and caring job y'all do. Kristi Bolden
