Going to the dentist is far from my favorite thing to do, but everything about my experience at this office was fantastic. I received great care from Dr. Merrill and his staff is wonderful. Highly recommend this office.

I doubt you will ever know a person with a scarier dental history than me, nor anyone with as much deeply ingrained fear of the dentist. Dr. Hugentobler and his staff are extremely friendly, supporting anything that needs to be done in order to make you comfortable to lay back in the chair. It is refreshing to have this level of understanding, without judgment, and their professional efficiency means less time in the chair with greater results than you can achieve elsewhere. If you are anywhere in the Moab area, Hugentobler is the dentist to see!

This office scheduled an appointment for me in regards to services newly offered March 1 for seniors. It was mentioned at that time that they usually don't do this because they do not get paid enough by the state. Several weeks later they became part of the program officially and I was called an an appointment was made for several weeks later. Two days before my appointment I was called and told that there was a mixup at that the paperwork was not gone through for the program. I was then told that they told her that it would be 4 to 6 months before the paperwork would be done! She made an appointment for October. I was refused when asked for the agency number to call as she said they will just tell me what she told me. Ultimately I found out that payment was guaranteed for the dentist and no problem processing the paperwork in days. Obviously they never wanted to participate and left me waiting before giving me the "excuse", and even made an appointment 4 months down the line!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I was a patient of Dr. Hugentobler for many years. I never once had a negative experience with him or any of his staff. You honestly could not ask for a better dentist. Additionally, he is one of the most honest people you will ever meet. In response to Josh Martin: I respectfully disagree. Although you're welcome to share your opinion, I've had the pleasure of knowing this family throughout my entire life. They are, without a doubt, some of the best people you will ever meet. I can assure you that Dr. Hugentobler has no intentions of scamming anyone, including you.

I'm seventy eight and have had quite a few dentist visits. Doc Hugentobler's operation is the best and most modern I have ever experienced. Do to my travel obligations and broken off tooth, they quickly squeezed me in, but best of all, I did not feel anything when he actually pulled the tooth out. The Doc had to tell me that it was out and everything should be fine. All has been well for several weeks since. Curt

Don't know what this other reviewer is talking about! My experience was exactly the opposite and I usually HATE going to the dentist. Only go because I HAVE to! The staff was incredibly friendly. Dr. Hugentobler and his hygienist were gentle and attentive to my comfort levels. It was the best experience I've had. You know how sometimes you wonder if dentists are just making things up to see how much they can gouge you? This dentist was the complete opposite. He only did what was absolutely necessary and left me feeling like, if anything, he could have convinced me to do more. I made another appointment in six months. I think I've found MY dentist.
