Dr. Diego Rivas loves the art and science of cosmetic and general dentistry, and seeing his patients smiles being refined and their self-esteem drastically improving throughout their treatment. He believes that all his patients deserve a beautiful smile that lasts for a lifetime, and he is passionate about creating that smile for each patient he meets.
Through the challenges that each new case presents, Dr. Rivas is continually excited by the field of dentistry. He considers each patient to be a partner with him in the process of creating their new smile and is never completely satisfied until he sees a happy, confident patient leave the office.
Dr. Rivas completed his formal education at New York University College of Dentistry and Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic. As your dental health professional, he understands the importance of patient confidence in the care he provides. Dr. Rivas is committed to continual education and learning to give patients the best possible service and results. He attends dental lectures, meetings, and conventions to stay informed of new techniques, the latest products, and the newest equipment that a modern dental office can utilize to provide state-of-the-art dental care. Dr. Rivas is also an active member of the San Antonio Study Club and the University of Texas San Antonio.
A native of the Dominican Republic, Dr. Rivas currently resides in San Antonio with his wife and two adorable children. When he is not in the office attending to patients, Dr. Rivas loves spending time with his family and friends,cooking, fishing andbiking. He is also a passionate baseball fan!
Darling was born in Colombia andmoved to San Antonio in 2011. She Joined the practice in 2012 and shehas been in the dental field since 1997. She makes sure that our office runs smoothly from day to day as she oversees both clinical and business aspects of the practice. During her free time she enjoysoutdoor activities with her family.
Eva Joined our practice in 2015 with more than 15 years in the dental field.Sheis one of the friendliest and professional person our patients meet when they come into the office. She is our insurance coordinator.Evaenjoys the challenges that each day brings, as she is inspired to exceed our patients expectations from the moment they step in the door. In her free time, Evaenjoys outdoor activities withher husband,and occasionally travels back to her hometown.
Dental Hygienist graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Centerat San Antonio with a bachelor degree in Dental Hygiene.She also attended The Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon Dental School in1996. She has been working in the dental field for over 22 years. Shejoined our practice in 2018 and sheenjoys educating her patients toachieve and maintain a excellentoral health.Karlagoal is to make each patient aware of how important and how affects the oral health their health. She loves spending time with her husband and two kids.
Dental Hygienist graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.S. in Biology. After UTSA, she attended UT Health SA where she received her B.S in Dental Hygiene. Emmaserved on a medical/dental mission trip at the Dominican Republic. where she provided free dental hygiene services to the community. Emma takes pride in her work, she is committedto providing excellent services and enjoys building friendships with our patients along the way. Outside of work Emma enjoys working out, biking downtown, and jogging with her dog Max.
Cass joined our practice in 2017, sheworks one-on-one with each patient to prepare them for any needed dental treatments, educates them regarding post-op care, and assists Dr. Rivas during procedures. Because our patients comfort and experience are very important to Cass, she loves to see them leave our office with a smile of satisfaction. Sheis driven by her goals in life and does everything with pleasure and love. Most importantly, she appreciates being surrounded by her familyevery day of her life.
Dental Hygienist who graduated from UT Health San Antonio with her B.S. in Dental Hygiene in 2018. Ashley joined our team in 2020, her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is answering any questions that patients may have and providing patients the experience of receiving top quality dental care and leaving with great smile. When she isn't working, Ashley enjoys balancing her love of exercise with her other love of baking sweet treats in the kitchen!
Julia joined ourpractice in August2020. She is currently a dental assistant aspiring tobecome a dental hygienist. she initially became interested in the terminology and procedures. Once shefinished high school she enrolled in RDA school and from then on She's enjoyed expanding her knowledge into the field. When She's not working she enjoys spending her free time with her dog who is energetic and very much spoiled.
