I grew up in the Holland area and graduated from Holland Christian High School in 1990. I then attended Calvin College where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in 1994. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001 from Case Western Reserve University, School of Dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio. I first practiced dentistry in the Grandville area with another dentist and then decided to start my own practice in 2005 in the Jenison/Hudsonville area. After several years, the practice had grown to a point that we needed a new building. Our current building was built in 2009 to offer our patients a comfortable and modern dental experience. The practice has continued to grow and we continue to be committed to our patients by offering caring, comfortable and complete dental care with exceptional service. My family consists of my wife, Shelly and our three boys, Nick, Cameron and Andrew and our dog, Bentley. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and enjoy many outdoor activities.
Dr. Holton grew up in Holland and graduated from West Ottawa High School in 2009. From there she went to Michigan State and earned a bachelors degree in Human Biology, and then went onto the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2017. Dr. Holton has been practicing dentistry at Hudsonville Family Dentistry since she graduated, and loves being back on the west side of the state. Dr. Holton got married in 2020 and lives in Holland with her husband, Jim, and cat, Willow. She enjoys camping, hiking, skiing, boating and gardening.

Great dentist! I'd highly recommend Dr. Lubbers. The office has a very welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Very friendly staff and transparent admin! When choosing a dentist they were very open about pricing and readily answered all of my questions. I used to hate the dentist, but since switching here I have actually enjoyed it!

Staff at Hudsonville Family Dentistry are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome. The office is very responsive and even send pre appointment reminders by text and personally call you so you don't forget. Dr. Lubbers is fantastic. Not only is he fun to chat with, he also takes care of each of his patients like family. He is so consistent and does work with amazing precision. Pain free every time! Would definitely recommend to anyone to have Hudsonville Family Dentistry as their full time dentist.

I switched dentists from Holland to Hudsonville based upon what I observed at Dr. Lubbers office. The staff is very kind, knowledgeable, competent, and the facility is extremely clean. The staff connects with patients and I immediately felt comfortable. Dr. Lubbers made suggestions upon my request that will repair a dental situation, and I'm very grateful for that! I'm very satisfied with my choice!!

My visit went very well. I appreciated the text updates on what was expected of me in this age of COVID-19, and was pleased with the ease of entry into the building and the treatment area. Staci was friendly, pleasant, and professional. I felt welcomed and at home although this was only my second visit to the office.

My first experience at this office was when I had an awfully painful toothache. New to this area and not knowing me from Adam, they took me right in, and eliminated the acute pain with my bad tooth. Shortly thereafter, they did a permanent repair. That was my first experience, and it's always been the very same excellent treatment in the intervening five years.

Orchestra leader or Dentist? Always amazed how well run this Dentist office is run. Very professional, from the way they answer the phone to equipment and techniques the use. Very happy with my Dentist Matt Lubbers and his team. Highly recommended!

Our family started with Hudsonville Family Dentistry when we moved to the area seven years ago. We have used their services for regular cleanings, cavities, and crowns. They are professional, well-organized (even now in the midst of the pandemic), and the dental care continues to serve us very well. Of the many choices we had when we moved here, we picked the best one!
