Background: our daughter has been very colicky (gas discomfort). She is gaining well, however she has been clicking and swallowing air when breastfeeding. I suspected an oral tie as she showed many symptoms. Knowing oral ties have the potential to affect breastfeeding later on and have effects later in life I wanted to get a formal evaluation. Everyone I met here was professional, kind, informative, and passionate about what they do. I am very happy I decided to go to this team for an evaluation and then release my daughters tongue and lip tie. Dr. Ben did the release. He was honest, caring, and educated me so I could make the best decision for my child. Doing craniosacral (CST) therapy prior to the procedure was a wonderful experience. She was more relaxed than I have seen her before and even after the procedure she was very calm. My husband would always come home from work to a colicky baby screaming in gas discomfort and that night he saw her more relaxed. Her burps and gas were coming out with ease and did not show signs of discomfort. We will definitely be following up with more CST work as we saw such a difference with one session. Dr. Ben truly thought of everything that is needed to provide a successful and easy oral release.

My daughter had a lip tie that was not caught until she was about 2 years old. Dr. Ben was extremely knowledgeable and took time to explain the situation and treatment options. He put my daughter's mental well-being first when considering how to move forward with treatment and always considered the effects it would have on her future dental experiences. He released the lip tie (which was severe) and it healed so quickly. My husband and I immediately saw a difference in my daughter's eating habits as well as oral hygiene. She now loves to brush her teeth and to visit Dr. Ben's dental office Valley Pediatric Dentistry. We were referred to Dr. Ben again for a possible tongue tie. Just as with our previous experience he took the time to get my daughter comfortable with him and made it a fun experience. Luckily, she didn't have a tongue tie but if she had I would absolutely trust Dr. Ben with releasing it!

The Doctor and his staff were truly awesome. Our son likes to kick and scream at the thought of a doctor (2.5 years old). The doctor explained everything about the procedure for tongue tie, aftercare and also suggested a speech therapist for us to contact. After a quick assessment we decided to have our sons upper tie corrected. It took all of a minute and our son was okay and back to smiling within 5 minutes of the procedure. This is a great Doctor if your child has issues or possible issues with tongue tie. They also have a pediatric dental office that we will 100% be checking out. Thanks again Dr. Ben and staff!

The office was STUNNING! SUPER friendly front office staff and the nurse. The doctor was knowledgeable, down to Earth, reasonable and a pleasure! LOVE this office and staff so much!

There is no one else I would trust with my daughter. After learning that my child had a lip and tongue tie HVTT was one of the first calls I made in the hospital. Not only did the LC recommend them but so did the pediatrician. After working as a dental hygienist for Valley Pediatric Dentistry, I know from the inside out how much they care about their patients, how honest they are with parents, and how much they really value about the quality of the care they give. Now experiencing HVTT as a parent, I knew we were in good hands. We were completely unable to nurse until Dr. Ben released my daughter's ties and HVTT was the first place we were able to nurse. Everything was explained very clearly and I'm very confident moving forward as a first time mom. Thank you Hudson Valley Tongue Tie!

Hudson Valley Tongue-tie Center was absolutely wonderful. Brought my 4 week old son in after bringing up my concerns to my pediatrician who didn't seem concerned. When I expressed my concerns to dr. Julie she examined him and not only did he have a lip tie he also had a tongue tie. He was fussy at the breast and clicked when drinking the bottle. She explained the procedure and the after care thoroughly. After dr. Julie made the revisions I Immediately noticed a difference it was crazy. I was honestly shocked at how quickly my son was less gassy, had a way better latch and completed a full feeding much easier. Dr. Julie followed up a few days after to make sure everything was going well and we just had our 1 week apt and everything was perfect! I can't say enough good things about this office.

So pleased with our appointment with Dr. Ben. I had been feeling very unvalidated regarding my concerns with my daughter. Dr. Ben listened closely, asked follow up questions and was very thorough with his explanations regarding the procedure(s). The office staff was lovely, Jenna, Tanisha (sp? Sorry), Patricia and Dr. Ben could not have been more lovely to work with and trust my baby to be with. The office is beautifully decorated as well, utilizing calming colors and minimal items. Helped this stressed mama feel better about the whole experience. I highly recommend this office if you have any concerns regarding tongue and/or lip tie(s).

The hospital and my pediatrician missed my daughter's tongue and lip tie. After a few weeks of her weight fluctuating, my instincts told me to reach out to a LC to have her latch checked out, as I was exclusively breastfeeding at the time. She suspected a tongue and lip tie. Dr. Ben's office was recommended by a few different people--and now I know why! From the moment I received the call back from the office, I knew I made the right choice. They were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and efficient when setting the appointment. I was able to get an appointment for the next day, as opposed to other locations that gave me appointment dates that were a month away. The office is beautiful and clean. Dr. Ben was thorough in explaining what the tongue tie and lip tie procedures would entail. He explained the exercises that need to be done at home to help the healing process and included a step-by-step packet to take home. When we returned home, I could already tell my daughter's suck when drinking her bottle has improved tremendously (currently pumping and not BF). We look forward to our follow up appointment at Hudson Valley Tongue & Lip Tie!

So from the start our experience was great. When setting up the appointment we were met with the nicest most positive scheduler ever! She was so happy on the phone and went out of her way to give us a ton of details. We then got the the office and it's beautiful! Who ever did the interior design did amazing! They had coffee and water to offer as well. They greeted us so nicely. We then got to go into the room to talk to dr.Bill, him and his nurses were so kind. I was beyond nervous and worried and he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable about what we were doing. It was also nice that you can tell he's not like some of those money hungry types. He said he would only do the procedure if it was necessary. Which after his examination it was needed. The procedure was fast and the nurse was so sweet. We werent allowed in the room, which I appreciated. Our son was out of the room for a max of 5 mins and he came in a latched right onto my nipple with the least amount of pain I've experienced with him. He's been doing great latching since then. They also have a lactation consult there who also does therapy for the babies. That's a separate charge and she is sweet and offers her services. We just weren't prepared to spend more than we could. But she did seem sweet and make sure to ask about her so you can look up what she does. All and all every person working there was sweet and knowledgeable! The receptionist was amazing (and also had great eyebrows, so obviously pays attention to details!)

Dr. Ben and his staff are very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. We were recommended to Dr. Ben by our lactation consultant because my son was tongue tied and couldn't latch properly to my breast. Dr. Ben was very efficient and answered all our questions. The tongue release procedure takes all of two minutes with very minimal bleeding. I felt very confident in Dr. Ben's skills and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to get a tongue and lip release for their baby.

My son was in for an evaluation and they were very nice and courteous. Answered any questions I had. I recommend this location if your baby has any oral issue, especially tongue tie.

Hudson Valley Tongue-tie Center was absolutely amazing! At the hospital no one checked my daughter for lip/tongue tie. For months I was noticing my daughter was very fussy, gassy and seemed to have a hard time keeping milk down. I tried different things like changing my diet ,changing how I was feeding her and a few other things. And nothing seemed to help. I spoke with a few parents about their children and they mentioned they were struggling with similar issues I had with my daughter. They had met with specialists and were told their children were lip/tongue tied. So I did some research and heard of Dr. Ben. I decided I should see if this was the answer I needed. After meeting with Dr Ben, it was official my daughter was lip tied. Dr Ben was amazing! He answered all my questions and was very thorough when explaining to me how the procedure would go and what to expect. My daughter healed amazing and is happier than ever. Thank you to everyone at HVTT for being so absolutely amazing!
