As a pediatric dental office, our practices specializes in comprehensive dental care for all children including those who may have special needs. At Hudson Valley Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Geri-Lynn Waldman is able to treat kids from infancy to teens with customized care to meet their needs. Dr. Geri-Lynn Waldman graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Colorado where she received her BA in psychology. After undergraduate school, she worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for two years doing research in the field of immunology. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 2000. Following dental school, she completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ (now Rutgers University). During her residency, she received specialized training in all areas of pediatric dentistry including sedation and working with children of special needs.
Dr. Geri is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Academy of Laser Dentistry, American Dental Association and the 9th District Dental Association. She has been elected as a Favorite Doctor by her patients in Hudson Valley Parent Magazine for the past 4 years. She has also been recognized by her peers as one of Hudson Valley Magazines Top Dentists since 2009.
Dr. Geri enjoys working with children and strives to provide the best quality dental care in a fun, child-friendly atmosphere that put children at ease. Her goal is to create positive dental experiences at a young age so that children continue to feel comfortable going to the dentist into adulthood.
Kimmie graduated from Pickens Technical College in 2012 as a dental assistant. Kimmie also has experience working as a pediatric dental assistant for over 2 years. Kimmie has a love for children and excels at going the extra mile to make sure the patients have a great experience. She feels the best reward is when the children leave with a smile on their face. When not working with Dr. Geri, she enjoys dirt track racing, traveling and spending time with her husband, little baby boy and her puppy Simpson.
Kalean received her dental hygiene degree from SUNY Broome in 2016. She worked in pediatrics, dental assisting prior to getting her degree. Kalean has always known that she has wanted to work with kids, and what better way than to help kids have a positive experience getting their teeth cleaned. She is happiest when she can change the way a child feels about going to the dentist, and leaving with a big smile on their face. When Kalean is not at work caring for children,you can find her skiing, snowmobiling and being outside with her fianc and puppy, Bree.
Jen entered the field of dentistry in 2007 working as a dental assistant in a pediatric dental office. She absolutely loved working in pediatrics and knew it was the field of work she wanted to build a life long career in. Jen graduated from Bergen Community College in 2009 with a degree in dental hygiene and continued to work in both pediatric and general practices. She loves helping patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visit to ensure a great dental experience. When she's not at work, Jen is enjoying being a new mom and spending time with her little baby boy and family.
Sage has been in the dental field for over ten years. She attended Rockland Community College for photography but quickly moved her attention to the dental field. Soon following Sage decided to get her dental assisting certification from the Dental Training Auxiliary Center in Wappingers Falls, NY. She started as a dental assistant where she quickly became passionate about dentistry. Sage has played several roles in the dental field and has appreciated each one. Sage loves seeing children get excited about taking care of their teeth and leaving the office with a smile on their face! The children always win her heart. Sage is always happy to help you with new patient forms, scheduling, insurance verification, and going above and beyond to help every patient that she can. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, curling up with a good book, taking photos and spending time with her cat Isaac. Sage is family orientated and enjoys spending time in her hometown of Warwick.
Kristi joined our team in 2019. She began her dental career over 20 years ago as a dental assistant who now enjoys working as part of our front team. Behind her beautiful smile is a woman who is passionate about getting to know all of our patients and making sure they receive quality service. She is patient-focused, driven to provide a personable experience along with the highest quality of care possible.
Aside from her love of caring for our smallest patients Kristi is a dedicated mother of twins Benjamin & Luke. She also enjoys hiking with her three dogs, fishing and camping. She tries to spend as much time outdoors as possible.

As a Dental Hygienist I have recommended families to Dr. Geri for many years. When it came time for my daughter to need a pediatric Dentist I did not hesitate to bring her here and I found out first hand what an incredible office it truly is. Children feel completely at ease with the snowy, dog themed atmosphere and inviting waiting room. But the greatest asset is the staff. Every single person that we came in contact with made my daughter feel welcomed and calm. She had to have a few appointments and always looked forward to returning each time! I am so grateful that Dr. Geri helped my daughter and made this experience so fantastic. Do not hesitate to bring your children here!

They are very rude, I had an appointment for my son at 4pm, but as I work in Manhattan, two days earlier, I told the receptionist that I would not be able to arrive on time, I asked if she could change the appointment for a little later on that day or for some other day. She told me that there was no other time on that day and that the next appointment available was only in October, so she told me that I "could" arrive 15 minutes late that there was no problem. We spoke again a day before the appointment and she confirmed to me that I would have no problem if I arrived 15 minutes late. Well, I ran a lot to try to get there on time, but like this time 4pm is time of buses leaving schools, I ended up having a little traffic and arriving 20 minutes late. When I got there, they didn't want to see my son just because of 5 minutes later. In other words, I left my work early because of appointment, I ran like a crazy, I live 30 minutes from the clinic, I told them that I was going to be late and they told me there was no problem and they didn't attend us. After that they offer me an appointment the next day, I thought this was a very great lack of ethics, empathy and professionalism.

My kids love it here and are always super excited. It is extremely kid friendly and the lobby is very comfortable. We love the dog themed decor and mural. The people are always so friendly and are always smiling.

Incredible care, we will go to no other pediatric dentist now. Across the board, our 3 year old daughter received excellent care, including sedation, extraction and cavity filling.

We love Hudson Valley Pediatric Dentistry! My son was very anxious about going to the dentist and now he loves going! All of the staff are very warm, welcoming and patient. Would definitely recommend!

I took my 5 month old son for a consult with Dr. Geri 2 weeks ago for a tongue tie. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Geri was extremely thorough with her explanation and the procedure was done in the office in less than five minutes. As soon as she was finished, I was led to a quiet room where I could feed him and snuggle him. Dr. Geri explained the tongue exercises and aftercare and I left feeling confident and comfortable with his aftercare. If I could give 10 stars I would. Highly recommend Hudson Valley Pediatric Dentistry!!!

Highly recommend this office. We were referred because my newborn baby had a tongue and lip tie. They were very profession from the front desk to the doctor. The doctor was extremely re-assuring and talked me through the procedure. She gave great post-op care instructions. Their office even had a room where I could nurse my baby afterwards. A few weeks later I was worried that her lip/tongue tie hadn't healed properly, she had me come in, spend time checking and didn't even charge me for an appointment. AMAZING! This place was great, I will definitely continue my babies future care here!

My son had to get dental work done for cavities on two of his front teeth - they were so great with him! Everyone was accommodating, and he was 2, and didn't need any sedation because he felt so comfortable! I'm extremely happy we were recommended and went here. It was a bit of a drive for us, but very worth it! Thanks!

This is literally the only place where my daughter has asked to go to the dentist and is bummed when she isn't going! The staff is so patient and kind, especially with my special needs 5 year old. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Geri and her staff.

We LOVE this place! My son looks forward to going to the dentist- especially the prize treasure chest. They are super kid-oriented, from the waiting room setting to the chair - where the kids have a variety of shows and flavor toothpastes to chose from. It's a great experience and I'm happy to have found this place!

This is the best dental pediatrics office in the area. My 7 year old daughter had a very bad experience at a previous dental office and now has severe anxiety when going to the dentist! After visiting Hudson valley pediatrics, she is slowly opening up. They are so patient and kind. They spoke to her with so much love and she slowly started opening up. I completely recommend this dental office. From the admin clerks at the front to the dental assistants, and the dentist they are all amazing people! I now take my 2 other kids here!

We love Hudson Valley Pediatric Dentistry!!! Kalean and Dr. Geri are both amazing with our three kids. The whole staff is always so warm and friendly. Our children LOVE going to the dentist and that is so important to us!!

Love love the Dr and staff at hv pediatric. We previously went to another well known pediatric office. I was told my son had multiple cavities and would require root canals and need to be put under anesthesia . My son is very small so I didn't feel comfortable with the anesthesia part. They refused to come up with a different plan. After getting a second opinion with hv pediatric we came up with a plan that was so much better. I've never seen a 5yr old get excited to go to the dentist. Thank you!!!

My daughter loves going to the dentist because of the staff at this practice They are kind, caring and compassionate. The office has a child friendly welcoming atmosphere. I wouldn't bring my daughter anywhere else. I highly recommend.
