The staff is very cordial and friendly. The atmosphere is nice and the place is always tidy and neat. The surgeon treats me very fast and then I leave. I have no major complaints. This is my second time going to this facility.

Lost 2 teeth at different times, and Dr. Bogart had performed the two implants that healed very well. Friendly staff, helpful and accommodating with any issues. Would highly recommend Dr. Bogart, if there is a need to have an implant.

Horrible service with front desk experience. I was put on hold several times for over 10 mins without any warning.

First time at this location for possible TMJ related pain. They took X-rays and a short time later the doctor walked in. I explained the pain I've been having in my jaw/temple area and the clicking on my jaw etc., and without even looking at my X-rays or even putting a hand on me, the doctor determined that it was not TMJ related (wow like a psychic). He then just gave me a sheet of paper explaining how to prevent TMJ pain. This was not my first time dealing with TMJ issues. I walked out of this place feeling disappointed. It was a total waist of my time and a wasted day off from work. I will have to search for another oral surgeon that seems to care.

I called because I had tooth pain and needed teeth pulled, they made an appointment for that very day! The staff were super nice and patience with me, as I had many questions.the doctor was excellent, very gentle. My teeth were pulled quickly and painlessly. they accepted my insurance as full payment too.i had an overall good experience with them, and highly recommend them.

Had 3 wisdom tooth taken out at the same time, and I didn't even feel any pain afterwards. Didn't even need to take pain medication.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Winston, who performed a surgery for me and was hoping to do another, but sadly COVID hit. Dr. Winston was amazing at explaining all my options and going over all the pros and cons, making sure I had all my questions answered. When I called the practice again to schedule my oral surgery I was told Dr. Winston had retired leaving me with no other choice but to see the other oral surgeon Dr. Payami . My main complaint is with the other oral surgeon, Dr. Payami and the other staff. The receptionists are rude and always seem bothered by the patients, the assistants are very catty and cold. It was especially awkward when I overheard them talking/gossiping loudly about other patients and staff, that was really unsettling. My husband had to have teeth removed and was left with bone fragments imbedded in the side of his moth. I decided to give the practice another chance thinking it was just a normal outcome with the bone fragments, come to find out it's really not. I booked an appointment and was told I had to see Dr. Payami for a very unnecessary consult, even though I had already been in for the exact consult before.... Seems like a money grab to me. I was surprised by Dr. Payami's rudeness and unprofessionalism. He was quick to the point but during the consult he said rudely " You know the procedure probably won't work for you, right? It would probably be a waste of time." and I replied "Yes Dr. Winston did mention that all cases have a chance of failing but he was very positive that my outcome would be a win, not a fail." He seemed annoyed with my response and abruptly left telling me to schedule an appointment with reception. A waste of time? I'm the one paying you to perform a surgery?? I felt so uncomfortable with the interaction with Dr. Payami that I decided to see a different oral surgeon and book with them (even though I'll be paying more). Dr. Payami seems to have a terrible attitude and poor patient care quality. I used to refer my friends and family here now I will avoid this practice at all costs! After Dr. Winston left the practice has defiantly lost care and has low standards.

1st time here, I was referred a few weeks ago for my 6 y/o son from his pediatric dentist (seven seas, great place for the kiddos 5 stars to them too) Called and made the appointment here, took 5 mins of chatting and was able to get an appointment 2 weeks away. Office called two days earlier to confirm appointment, I was able to ask questions and the office lady was helpful. Showed up right on time for appointment, took 5 mins to fill paper work out, then my son did X-rays and was sitting in the chair getting prepped. Dr went over everything in detail, once my son was out my husband and I waited, I timed how long from the time we left the room until they called us back. 9 minutes!! We were able to sit with my son in a quite and private area for him to recover in. We were sent home with instructions. My son doesn't remember anything except for the needle before he was sleeping. Now 10 hours later my son is doing awesome, no pain or swelling after having 4 teeth extracted. I was shocked too, dr called around 5pm to check on how my son was feeling and if I had any questions. Definitely recommend this place & the dr!

Unexpected events had come up recently in which I needed a tooth pulled which was a molar tooth, and it is a pretty big tooth. When visiting the office and speaking with Dr. Payami, he explained everything to me which made me feel more at ease. I should have never read about these procedures on the internet, because it made it worse for me prior to the surgery. So it was also revealed during the initial consult, that there was another issue with a wisdom tooth that down the road could be a potential problem as well, and to monitor it. Needless to say, the molar tooth was pulled without issue or pain. I was fully awake and it was over in less than 3 minutes. I had no issues with pain, swelling, bleeding, etc. Dr. Payami and staff were awesome. My wisdom tooth did eventually cause me some pain and that had to be extracted as well. When I went to his office and had that procedure done, he out did himself from the first extraction. It was a better outcome than the first experience, and this time it took less than 1 minute to come out. I had no pain or discomfort at all, with hardly no bleeding, pain, or swelling. He called me that night to check on me as well. This was my first time with back to back tooth extractions, and being in my mid 50's I was terrified. But he and his staff were amazing!!! The office music was also on point which totally relaxed me. So excellent work by the staff, and Dr. Payami. Keep it up!!! ~Dennis

I made it to my appointment during a snowstorm did my paperwork and was sat in the chair just that chair alone was making nervous but anyway I was nervous because I was getting 3 teeth extracted I told the dental assistant don't no her name but told her how nervous I was and she calmed me down before I new it I was almost under the other assistant made me feel comfortable by then I was already waking up have no idea what happened but Im sure I made a fool of myself I was pretty out of it and apologize for that so I finally come to hours later and my mouth really didn't even hurt like I thought it was going to all 3 teeth were extracted and the doctor did a great job the first day after I'm already eating soft foods and there really is no pain in my opinion I would recommend this place to anyone who need work done five start for everyone.

This is the second time I had a tooth pulled by Dr Wiston. My tooth was removed quickly (both times) and pain free. Dr. Winston is very attentive and personable. I would also like to add, that the staff is very nice and helpful.

Thank you so very much Doctor Payami and your team! At one of the most difficult moments in my life, in between pain, discomfort and dealing with the inability to eat comfortably, I was given the most kindest and professional response and treatment. I was in severe pain and Dr. Payami and his team treated me at the first available appointment, with calm, compassion and professional treatment. Thank you Hudson Valley Oral Surgery in Newburgh, I appreciate you and your team's excellent care.

First let me say the surgeon was terrific when I used him for my son in 2018 for an exposure. My 1 star story starts in February 2020 when the orthodontist told us my son needed to have his wisdoms pulled and another exposure. They referred us back to this office. When I called to make the appointment they asked me what my insurance was and I told them and no one ever said anything about them leaving the network for our dental insurance. Then when we go in for the appointment I asked the receptionist what the office visit charge was and she said to me since we are in network their shouldn't be a charge. Go forward 3 weeks I get a letter from my dental insurance stating that the dental office is no longer in network that they left in January 2019 and my out of pocket would be $6000. So I call the office and the girl at the Newburgh office had no clue that they were no longer in network for my insurance and she refers to call the billing office in Yonkers. The woman was completely rude and not at all helpful. I asked her if I was going to have to pay for the visit if they could atleast give me the 3D X-ray because it's only covered once every 2 years and she kept saying that they haven't even received anything saying what my insurance would cover and wouldn't take my word for the conversation I had the my insurance company. Then 2 weeks later covid hit and all communication stopped. Then in May I get a bill for $100 for the office visit. I call several times and leave messages with no return calls then today July 16th I receive a letter from a collections office about the $100. Really??? You guys have to keep your office staff up to date on which insurance you take , then you are rude to me on the phone then don't answer my calls. Never once did they even think, hey maybe this lady is having difficulties with her bills with everyone being layed off from covid. Nope straight to collections. TERRIBLE management

I was referred to this office and went to set up an appointment. The receptionist and 2 other woman in the front were very helpful. I scheduled the appointment for the next day. Dr. Ali Payami, DMD, MD who did the surgery listened To what I had said since I have issues with medications and was very nervous. He said you will be fine and I was . No pain at all . He also called to see how I was that night . I greatly appreciate his professionalism and will recommend this office. Thank you , Eileen C
