Prob the best cleaning Ive ever had! Stephanie the hygienist was awesome to talk with her knowledge! I'm terrified of going to the dentist but everyone at the office is awesome and can't wait to come back again!

Horrible. If zero stars was a option that's what this place deserves. The Dentist Dr Freinburg-Trufas made a very rude comment about someone's appearance which was completely unnecessary. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

My family have been patients of this practice for the better part of 30 years. Now as adults, although my children could go anywhere else, they still choose Dr. Trufas & Hudson Valley Dental Care. The staff is both warm & welcoming and professional. The hygienists are quite thorough and friendly. And Dr. Trufas is the upmost of thorough, professional and yet you know he cares about his patients and the level and quality of care he gives. As long as this office is in practice, I will be their patient.

I am a new patient of Dr. Trufas and Hudson Valley Dental Care. Not only does the work "care" appear in their business name, but is at the center of every experience I had while there. I am incredibly fearful of dentists and even the smell of a dental office or drill sound can leave me a cold sweat resulting in the neglect of my dental health. I had heard a great deal of positive experiences regarding this dental practice and felt ready to explore the possibility of becoming a patient there. The fates conspired and I called Amy to discuss my fear, she really listened and asked me to come in. Each step was met with compassion and no judgement. When I walked in the first time the office staff welcomed me, not just with the habit of saying welcome but with eye contact and smiles. I have now gotten to the point I was able to have two cavities filled. Let me just share that Dr. Trufas gives a needle that I could barely feel, he spoke to me throughout letting me know what he was doing and letting me know that he would stop if I felt uncomfortable. I wish I could give 10 stars to this practice, I know that my dental needs will be taken care of in a place I feel safe.

I have worked in the dental field on and off for 25 years (orthodontics), and Hudson Valley Dental Care is where I go for my personal dental needs. They are friendly and knowledgeable and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. Highly recommend

Staff are friendly and professional. Excellent hygienists who take the time to make you feel comfortable and informed about your teeth and gums. Dr T is friendly and gentle, and provides great dental care. He continues his education and volunteers to care for the less fortunate in other countries. A great dentist and person.

I have been going to HVD for several years now and I HIGHLY recommend this practice. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. Hygienists are thorough and enjoy educating their patients. And the dentist, Dr Freinberg-Trufas, was very very skilled, competent and professional. He took the time to explain everything he was doing which made me feel at ease. And, he is a really nice person who cares about his patients! Five stars. Don't hesitate!

So many people dread going to the dentist. I am not one of them for I know that they are there to take care of what ails me. To comfort and heal. No one does this better than Hudson Valley Dental Care. In its cozy, historic Upstate NY home setting to its warm and friendly, but utmost professional staff, it is more like visiting family than a medical visit. I was especially impressed by the impeccable safety protocol they implemented during COVID to be able to continue offering their essential services to their longstanding patients who trust and rely upon them. The front staff is always courteous and kind. The hygienists gentle and helpful with tips on oral health. Then there is Dr. Cristi. His examining chairs are in a sunroom with picture windows facing the trees, so it feels more like a spa setting than your typical dentist office setting under fluorescent lights with no windows. He carefully explains to you what is happening and what he is seeing at all times so that there are no unpleasant surprises and asks if there is pain or if he needs to slow down. I always tell him no, because his touch is gentle and expert. My respect for him extends far beyond my own experience with him as a dentist; he often travels to underserved countries to volunteer his dental services. I especially appreciate that he is constantly attending conferences, getting certified in new procedures, learning and expanding his service to keep up with the latest technology and options.This means I don't have to go looking elsewhere for my dental needs. You should not either, for if you are lucky enough to his patient, why would you ever?

Dr. T is amazing and very good at explaining the process of whatever work he's doing. I have TMJ and he was very good at making sure I was comfortable. He was also not aggressive in treatment which I greatly appreciate. He was very good at listening to the concerns I had with my jaw and teeth and make great recommendations that helped reduce pain I was having. The staff is also really nice and welcoming, it's not your typical dentists office. So much better then any dental practice I've been to and why I drive over an hour to get there.

Everyone at Hudson Valley Dental Care are friendly and professional. I normally do not like going to the dentist, but they turned that feeling around for me very much. The staff are very gentle and made me very comfortable. I would highly recommend this dental office, and I have to many other people!

I was also impressed with the thoughtful approach to my care and the covid precautions of the office. But most of all, the kindness and congeniality that was shared by all absolutely made my day. I wish I could get my teeth cleaned every week.

This is a highly efficient and professional office. I was extremely satisfied with the level of care provided to me and was surprised how quickly this office was able to fit me in and help me deal with a problem even though I was not an established patient. I would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone . This was without a doubt the most professional and kind dental office I have ever been to! All of the office staff I interacted with were extremely supportive and professional. Amy was fantastic at helping me get scheduled and in to see the doctor as soon as possible. I felt that Dr Cristi Freinberg-Trufas provided me excellent care and I would highly encourage anyone to seek out his care for their dental needs. I will absolutely be returning in the future.
