Dr. Hudson is the only orthodontist in Northern Virginia to receive the Milo Hellman research award, which is a prestigious award given to one Orthodontist nationally each year for exceptional research. Dr. Brad Hudson is a board certified orthodontist. He is very active in his specialty as a researcher, speaker, and clinician. He is a diplomate of the American Association of Orthodontists, as well as a member of the American Dental Association and Northern Virginia Dental Society. He regularly shares his expertise by connecting with local dentists through lectures on Dentistry and Orthodontics. He has also been selected by the American Association of Orthodontists to speak at national meetings.
To become board certified, Dr. Hudson first attended a 3-year full time orthodontic residency. After practicing for several years, Dr. Hudson then presented six of his patients before the American Board of Orthodontists, where they were reviewed by several Board Examiners and accepted for their proper diagnosis and excellent results. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Hudson will continue to present finished cases every ten years to maintain board-certified status.
Dr. Hudson launched a new program called Give Back Smile Back. Using a spin on the famous quote: Smile and the world will smile back, Hudson Orthodontics believes this name perfectly illustrates their mission of spreading smiles throughout their community.
