Absolutely love this dental office!! The assistants are amazing and the dentist makes you feel so secure and is amazing at everything she does. I always feel so comfortable when I have to go there.

My experience with this practice was almost a year ago. I've almost recovered psychologically. I got a filling which friends told me wasn't a big deal. It was like a combination of Georgia Championship Wrestling and a Jerry Lewis movie. Office manager was extremely cordial. The practice allowed a patient with no appointment to come in for an emergency procedure which made me feel they do care. Maybe fillings are supposed to be painful. Mine sure was. I was yelled at constantly for moving my tongue around (my mouth had been completely numbed, so I had no idea where in my mouth my tongue was.) The procedure seemed rushed and involved a lot of pain. I tried to discuss dental savings plans, but manager was vague about which ones they'd accept and how to use them. Apparently, they have plenty of folks with better dental insurance (or more cash) than me. Like I said, maybe this is all normal for a filling. If so, I'm going to need sedation for my upcoming procedures.

Worst dentist experience I've ever had. Absolutely wasted hundreds of dollars in less than 3 months. Dr. Hudson told me something was wrong with my nose during my first appointment, should have never looked back after that. The dental assistant took a picture of my teeth with a cell phone to "keep in my records." Pretty sure that breaks HIPAA, but I honestly just want nothing to do with this place ever again other than to tell people KEEP LOOKING.

Accompanied my mother to an exam because of an issue she was having. This was her first visit to Hudson Dental- I was BLOWN AWAY by the genuine concern and care the entire staff had towards my mother. Explained everything very clearly, made sure she was comfortable and even made sure to accompany her to get X-rays to ensure she would not fall. I cannot thank all of the staff for the attention and care they showed my mother and I would highly recommend this office!!!!

I had the same bad experience as others. I came in the office and there were not any other patients which should have been a red flag. After the exam the dentist decided to do a scaling without asking me or even explaining what it was. I know this because I had just had one at my old dentist before I moved. After I let her know that I did not want a scaling done, she decided to explain it to me why I needed it. I let her know that I knew exactly what it was because I had just had one. I told her I was there for a teeth cleaning which she did do. The bill I received included fictitious charges and I have tried calling and no matter what time I call I get the answering service who takes a message. I have never received a call back. My next course of action is the better business bureau. Be ware!

Really good experience... Dr. Hudson and her staff were amazing and I will most definitely be back! The wait was no less than 5 minutes.

Mediocre doctor and staff here. The guy sitting at the frontdesk s always snoozing and would forget to send claims to my insurance, her staff is a high schooler with no professional training or credentials and an old lady who was drunk all the time, also with no licensing, and the dentist looks and acts like a mean old man, not very nice whatsoever. Run!

First time patient - Everyone was very friendly but it was the roughest cleaning I have ever had. My teeth hurt for 2 days afterwards. It had only been 7 months since my last cleaning (at my previous dentist before I moved) so it wasn't like it has been years since I was at the dentist. Dr. Hudson also told me I had 4 cavities and decay that I needed to address as soon as possible. I was the only patient there for the entire time, which made me nervous to begin with. I have never been to a dental office that was not full of patients and I also worked at a dental office and we saw at least 7 patients, every hour from 8am-4pm! I was a little weary when I left, based on all the problems she mentioned and the fact that I have never had any issues before, so I got a second AND third opinion (based on the same X-rays she was looking at) and the other 2 dentists told me they did not see anything! I would be cautious about going here.

Dr. Hudson and her staff took extremely good care of me. She was very informative and showed compassion knowing i had some anxiety about coming in as it had been too long. I've made my 6 month appointment and look forward to being in her safe hands in the future.

My wife and I both get our dental care from Hudson Dental. Dr. Hudson is so caring and remembers simple things about our family. Each time I visit, she asks us how we are doing. She had a plan for my teeth from the start and updated me each visit what was done and what she will work on next. I had sensitive teeth and they feel great now. :) The entire staff is so nice and extremely helpful. They always pick up when we call and so easy to set appointments or reschedule. That's one of the reasons we chose to stay with them.

I just recently moved to the area and googled dentist offices in Smyrna and found this office.It was a great experience the Dr and her assistant was very nice and informative.I had my children with me they were great with kids and made me feel like I been coming here for years!I highly recommend!

I had a semi-emergency when a crown fell off over the holidays. I was able to get an appointment quickly and get the crown reattached. I was concerned that I would have to get a new crown made, but Dr. Hudson was able to save the existing crown which saved me a sizable amount. She explained everything she was doing before and as she was doing it which made the experience as good as it could've been. I would highly recommend. Thanks Dr Hudson and team!

I had a wonderful experience at Hudson Dental Care and is looking forward to having a lot of work done on next week and the weeks to come, they have a wonderful staff and everyone is as pleasant as ever, thanks for everything,ok so now that I have completed all of my dental work at Hudson Dental I must say that I am extremely pleased with the results, I would recommend everybody to go see Dr Vivian Hudson if you need any dental work done, I have been waiting on this big change in my life for over 30 years and I'm definitely pleased with the outcome, and I can't forget how pleasant and caring her staff is, I feel as though they are family now, I love, love, love this place

Dr Hudson was amazing ! Accepted me as a new patient last min because I was having so much pain that I was not able to sleep. Came in and she gave me a root canal that same day. She was very gentle that I didn't feel a thing (note I have been terrified of the dentist) she made my visit nothing less than great ... definitely found my new dentist and will be recommending her to my family and friends

I had the best experience at Hudson Dental Care of any dental office I've ever been to. I scheduled an appointment for teeth cleaning after a year and a half of no visits during Covid. Since this was my first visit, Dr. Hudson spent time talking with me about my dental background and my medical issues that might impact any dental work I might need. She then xrayed my mouth and explained the images as she scanned it. She noticed a hole in one tooth that she told me needed attention right away to save the tooth. Dr. Hudson personally did the cleaning because she said the xrays often don't show up things. Her peridontist assisted her and was very mindful of my needs and helped explain what Dr. Hudson was doing. Afterwards, Dr. Hudson scheduled me to return for the filling. Although I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to dental work, she was very gentle and thoughtful in her work. She has great "chairside" manner and explains as she goes. I experienced no pain even though the hole was hard to get to and it took her quite a while to fill the cavity and create a partial filling. I have to go back to get a crown on that tooth, but I feel very confident in Dr. Hudson's work. I liked her and her staff a lot, which is rare for me with a dentist. I highly recommend her.

I had my first appointment with Vivian Hudson DDS today and found she and her team to be the *best* dental office/team I have ever experienced. I sincerely appreciate the care and attention to my well-being Dr. Hudson and her assistants provided. Outstanding!
