Dr. John Hudec has been a life-long believer in the City of Cleveland. While other colleagues were starting dental practices in the suburbs and outside the City of Cleveland, Dr. Hudec went against the norm and opted for the City as his foundation. In November of 1977, Dr. John Hudec opened the doors to his 1st operatory practice at 4283 Pearl Road in Cleveland. Dr. Hudec was the Doctor, Hygienist, Assistant, EFDA, Office Manager and Patient Coordinator. He waited for that first walk-in patient to come through his doors. Soon one patient turned into two and two into four. The practice grew as word of mouth spread regarding the care that Dr. Hudec provided. Dr. Hudec focused ondoing the ordinary, extraordinarily wellin all that he did. As more patients came, the need was created for more staff and more locations to meet the increased patient demand.
The old fashioned way of building a practice allowed for substantial growth throughout the past4 decades. Hudec Dental has now grown in excess of 100,000 patient visits a year throughout its several neighborhood locations. From 1 employee, Hudec Dental now is proud to employ over250 dental professionals. Hudec Dental has now expanded their services to the Youngstown community. This growth will allow Hudec Dental to provide the quality care that everyone deserves.
The reason Hudec Dental was founded and the reason it exists today is founded on Our Purpose, or reason for existence. Simply put, Hudec Dentals purpose is To improve the quality of life of those we serve. Every patient we treat, every decision we make is rooted in our companys purpose. Hudec Dental also believes in serving and improving the quality of life of our staff. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for our staff to grow and develop as dental professionals. As an organization, we must continue to grow and be better today than we were yesterday.

Great place! Dr. Mickles is friendly, caring and very good at her craft.. Her staff is friendly and efficient as well. This is the only dental office I liked going to. I recommend them always. They truly want to put a smile on your face.

When I arrive I was greeted by the receptionist Dr. K was very patient he always asked me do I feel any pain that meant a lot because I was nervous. Good job to all the staff at Hudec dental.

I always enjoy my visits to Hudec. My dentist Dr. A Mickles is the best and her assistants. It's like hanging out with the girls. They make you feel very comfortable. And she is very very professional. She doesn't miss any thing.

My tooth was very sensitive, but the doctor was so kind and gentle. He made sure I was good and numb for my crown. I really like this office. Love the how friendly they are and give great customer service.

First, I want to share that this is my first visit to a different dentist outside of my entire 23 years of living, since my original dentist had recently retired. I can admit that I had a decent cleaning by the hygienist. She was a bit rough, but it was a decent cleaning. Now, my problem is when it came to the dentist. Everyone from the dental assistant to the hygienist said that from what they could see from the x-rays that my teeth were looking good and there were NO cavities from that they could judge. But when I seen the dentist it was a completely different story. He began looking at my teeth calling out cavities like it was a joke. He claimed that I had 10 cavities, 5 on each side He reached for the little mouth camera to show me what he could see. What he showed me looked like a bunch of tooth staining that my dentist prior to him said was tooth staining from deep grooves in my teeth, because it literally didn't show up on the x-ray. I honestly think they try and take advantage of people, especially if you have a good insurance.
