Dr. John Hudec has been a life-long believer in the City of Cleveland. While other colleagues were starting dental practices in the suburbs and outside the City of Cleveland, Dr. Hudec went against the norm and opted for the City as his foundation. In November of 1977, Dr. John Hudec opened the doors to his 1st operatory practice at 4283 Pearl Road in Cleveland. Dr. Hudec was the Doctor, Hygienist, Assistant, EFDA, Office Manager and Patient Coordinator. He waited for that first walk-in patient to come through his doors. Soon one patient turned into two and two into four. The practice grew as word of mouth spread regarding the care that Dr. Hudec provided. Dr. Hudec focused ondoing the ordinary, extraordinarily wellin all that he did. As more patients came, the need was created for more staff and more locations to meet the increased patient demand.
The old fashioned way of building a practice allowed for substantial growth throughout the past4 decades. Hudec Dental has now grown in excess of 100,000 patient visits a year throughout its several neighborhood locations. From 1 employee, Hudec Dental now is proud to employ over250 dental professionals. Hudec Dental has now expanded their services to the Youngstown community. This growth will allow Hudec Dental to provide the quality care that everyone deserves.
The reason Hudec Dental was founded and the reason it exists today is founded on Our Purpose, or reason for existence. Simply put, Hudec Dentals purpose is To improve the quality of life of those we serve. Every patient we treat, every decision we make is rooted in our companys purpose. If honest I was quite hesitant about going to my appointment for many personal reasons it has been a few yrs . However once I got there the staff at the front desk was a kind soul he was quite informative. The service providers explained the process wich was quite important to me step by step as did the Denitist. I'm truly excited and relieved about my treatment plan . Kindness is everything in understanding individuals challenges. Thank you

Staff is so welcoming and nice. Dr Jain was very gentle and I love their commitment to quality work and giving everyone a beautiful smile. I had fillings done elsewhere and they corrected them and they look and feel better.

UPDATED REVIEW: I'm finally finished!! I had 27 out of my 32 teeth that needed work done, 4 extractions, 1 root canal, 1 cap/crown, and the rest cavity fillings. I'm VERY VERY VERY SATISFIED! Dr. Jain is absolutely amazing, he's very gentle and attentive, he'll work quick so you're not there all day and leaving with a sore mouth. And his work is honestly beautiful. His assistants are JUST AS AMAZING! Unfortunately, I didnt get their names. Since I had SO MUCH work to be done, we chose to do several teeth in 1 appointment every 2-3 weeks. I would have been done sooner but I work 2 jobs & I'm a full-time student & mother. Yet they were always happy to work around my hectic schedule! The entire office staff is like a family environment - they are simply amazing people and amazing at their jobs. I don't have a fear of going to the dentist anymore because of Dr. Jain & his staff! I'm honestly so happy I found them, and this will be my home office from now on! I even took my daughter here for a cavity, cleaning and preventative maintenance. My brother & boyfriend are now patients as well. Honestly I'm just really satisfied with the overall experience and outcome! I called Hudec and they had such a long waiting list that they couldn't even schedule a future appointment for me, but said they'd put me on their cancelation list. In the event that someone cancels or doesn't show up for their appointment they'd send me a message to reserve that slot. Thursday morning, 2 days later, I got that message! I went in Thursday afternoon SCARED TO DEATH! I'm deathly afraid of dentists, needles, doctors etc. I also have seizures. The ENTIRE staff was SO KIND, so gentle, caring & empathetic from the moment I stepped into that office! The dentist spoke with me prior to looking at my teeth, about my seizures and my fears and about the sensitivity of any certain teeth. He was so gentle! They scheduled me for quite a lot of work (my last dentist of 15+ years was a nightmare and ruined my teeth), and they spoke with me for another 30+ minutes at the front desk about every little detail I should know & answered all of my questions and concerns in depth. For the first time in my life, I'm actually excited about returning back to their office for my root canal, extractions & fillings. Also, they weren't sure if my insurance would cover a porcelain cap on a front tooth, and instead of simply selecting the cap they knew would 100% be covered - and make me look a lil ratchet - they selected both the cheap option and the porcelain on the off chance that my insurance WOULD perhaps cover the more expensive choice. Worth mentioning, they could have selected the easy route and had this front tooth extracted rather than to do a root canal & cap (root canals are much, much, much longer procedures than extractions). But the dentist said "Since it's a front tooth, I'd suggest we do a root canal and cap, so that you don't have a missing tooth in the front for everyone to easily see. But it's your choice." And then he thoroughly explained the root canal procedure so that I'd be able to make a more educated decision. I'll be leaving an updated review once I'm finished with all the work. Wish me luck!

Elaine was working with me during my last appointment and did a great job. She did a great job and provided education on better oral hygiene. She didn't try to upsell me on anything and gave some great suggestions. Best dental experience I am have had with Hudec after considering other options. The dentist seemed nice and the front desk staff was welcoming and kind as well. I'm definitely coming back to this specific office only.

Today was my first time going to this dentist to have my teeth check. The staffs' are very friendly and helpful, I had no issues at all during my appointment. They all treated me with great customer service and explain things to me throughly. I like it here

So I have a wisdom tooth that's basically rotted from the inside, and the nerve became exposed over the 4th of July weekend. I couldn't do anything but cry in pain all weekend. Tuesday, I call around dentists & no one would take my insurance (Caresource DentaQuest)..
