Dr. John Hudec has been a life-long believer in the City of Cleveland. While other colleagues were starting dental practices in the suburbs and outside the City of Cleveland, Dr. Hudec went against the norm and opted for the City as his foundation. In November of 1977, Dr. John Hudec opened the doors to his 1st operatory practice at 4283 Pearl Road in Cleveland. Dr. Hudec was the Doctor, Hygienist, Assistant, EFDA, Office Manager and Patient Coordinator. He waited for that first walk-in patient to come through his doors. Soon one patient turned into two and two into four. The practice grew as word of mouth spread regarding the care that Dr. Hudec provided. Dr. Hudec focused ondoing the ordinary, extraordinarily wellin all that he did. As more patients came, the need was created for more staff and more locations to meet the increased patient demand.
The old fashioned way of building a practice allowed for substantial growth throughout the past4 decades. Hudec Dental has now grown in excess of 100,000 patient visits a year throughout its several neighborhood locations. From 1 employee, Hudec Dental now is proud to employ over250 dental professionals. Hudec Dental has now expanded their services to the Youngstown community. This growth will allow Hudec Dental to provide the quality care that everyone deserves.
The reason Hudec Dental was founded and the reason it exists today is founded on Our Purpose, or reason for existence. Simply put, Hudec Dentals purpose is To improve the quality of life of those we serve. Every patient we treat, every decision we make is rooted in our companys purpose. Hudec Dental also believes in serving and improving the quality of life of our staff. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for our staff to grow and develop as dental professionals. As an organization, we must continue to grow and be better today than we were yesterday.

I saw Debbie for my yearly cleaning. She was AMAZING! The dentist has been a stressful place for me and she made me feel relaxed. She answered all of my questions and explained everything thoroughly. I even thanked her at the end of my appointment to tell he me that I appreciate how comfortable she made me feel. I would 100% recommend her and the office.

My hygienist was very friendly and pleasant. She was knowledgeable and skilled enough to know how to manage around prior dental work. She did accidentally hurt the inside of my mouth, but also responded appropriately when I pointed out what had happened. They tried to upsell me on a new non-evidence-based screening procedure that was not necessary and not covered by insurance, without fully explaining it, nor giving me a chance to understand what I was signing and have a conversation about it (Picture: "we have this new procedure. Sign this release..." *me trying to respond with tools in my mouth* "Uill that kasht ekshtra?"). This was the first time I saw a dentist actually get a good and full Xray, and appropriately diagnose that I had no cavities (many mistake the natural grooves in my teeth for cavities). They also did not suggest unnecessary wisdom teeth removal surgery (which some of my dentists have before). And the appointment started and ended exactly on time!

Very disappointed in ya'll service if this had negative stars you'll get the highest my daughter had her 3rd appointment with hudec dental for the same reason that should of been corrected the 1st time she came in to see ya'll!!!!! How do you mess up a filling not once but 2 more times and expect my insurance to pay Hudec dental 800.00 to correct the issue when Hudec caused it very unprofessional I wish I would give this company anything else I'm going to make sure my insurance know so the payment can be reverse.......

I'm very disappointed with my new Denture's and The Dentist is blowing off my concerns She tried to adjust them but the mold itself is not a good fit I will have to contact my provider....

I was referred because MetroHealth doesn't except my dental insurance anymore. The exray room was disgusting for a Hospital setting, there equipment is very outdated. The Doctor and her assistant were very helpful and kind and good, the procedure that needs to be done I like what she is going to do instead of the other dentist but what she did do I'm in so much pain I didn't eat the day of today now late evening my tongue, lip, and under my gum hurts so bad all I can do is take pain pills and sleep and I have to go back in two weeks JESUS SIT IN THE CHAIR WITH ME

My 15 year old son had an appointment today. When I scheduled the cleaning I was informed to have his wire removed from his braces prior to coming to the appointment. Very clear instructions were given and followed. The entire staff was very friendly. My son was taken promptly for his appointment for his cleaning. The hygienist explained everything she was going to do today. The Dentist came out and explained that he had a small surface cavity that they would be happy to fill today since I was there and he already had his wires off. This saved me so much time as I would have normally had to make another appointment to have his tooth filled which would have meant that he would have to have his wires removed again along with having to take the time off work and the extra drive time to go back to his orthodontist have his wires removed and then replaced. I also appreciated that the dentist and hygienist both came out to congratulate me as they were both very pleased at how well he takes care of his teeth and gums at the age of 15 and with braces. I enjoyed my experience at Hudec Dental at Lutheran Hospital and I would recommend that office to all my friends and family.

The Dental Hygienist I saw was very understanding of my fear. She talked me through what to expect and assured me it would be painless, I still was nervous, but she was amazing. She never grew inpatient with my dauts ,thank you Debbie
