Dr. John Hudec has been a life-long believer in the City of Cleveland. While other colleagues were starting dental practices in the suburbs and outside the City of Cleveland, Dr. Hudec went against the norm and opted for the City as his foundation. In November of 1977, Dr. John Hudec opened the doors to his 1st operatory practice at 4283 Pearl Road in Cleveland. Dr. Hudec was the Doctor, Hygienist, Assistant, EFDA, Office Manager and Patient Coordinator. He waited for that first walk-in patient to come through his doors. Soon one patient turned into two and two into four. The practice grew as word of mouth spread regarding the care that Dr. Hudec provided. Dr. Hudec focused ondoing the ordinary, extraordinarily wellin all that he did. As more patients came, the need was created for more staff and more locations to meet the increased patient demand.
The old fashioned way of building a practice allowed for substantial growth throughout the past4 decades. Hudec Dental has now grown in excess of 100,000 patient visits a year throughout its several neighborhood locations. From 1 employee, Hudec Dental now is proud to employ over250 dental professionals. Hudec Dental has now expanded their services to the Youngstown community. This growth will allow Hudec Dental to provide the quality care that everyone deserves.
The reason Hudec Dental was founded and the reason it exists today is founded on Our Purpose, or reason for existence. Simply put, Hudec Dentals purpose is To improve the quality of life of those we serve. Every patient we treat, every decision we make is rooted in our companys purpose. Hudec Dental also believes in serving and improving the quality of life of our staff. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for our staff to grow and develop as dental professionals. Everyone on the staff is very nice and helpful, as well as very educated in their job! Dr. Kun is a wonderful dentist and I feel lucky I go to him. He is a painless dentist of the highest order! Dr. Kun is very well-schooled in current dentistry practices and he never fails to educate the patient! Great place to go!

The entire staff made me very comfortable. I DREAD going to the dentist and they made me feel way less nervous. Very gentle with my teeth- and also so accommodating to fit me in with my crazy schedule! So glad I was told to check them out.

Omg! Let me tell you... it's been a while since I've seen a dentist. When I first moved to the area, I went to a dentist that was over on Brookpark road, and he must have been a construction worker before becoming a dentist, because he was VERY heavy handed. He retired and I tried Aspen dental at Parmatown.... They are into bondage there! I left there gagged and violated, never to return! I suffer from anxiety and I struggle severely with the x-ray process. But I have to tell you...from the moment I walked in Hudec Dental, it felt right! The North Royalton office is not at all overwhelming or intimidating, the staff there is AMAZING! The girls that did my x-rays were on point and worked together to make that process as smooth as possible. I appreciated that so much! And, Dr. Kun is by far the best dentist that I have EVER seen. He took the time to go through everything, and gave me a complete rundown of the exam. He NEVER made me feel bad or ashamed of the condition of my teeth or the care I have been giving them like other places have. He even not only gave me his professional opinion, but his personal opinions on what to do and how to move forward with a better smile and care, which I most greatly appreciated. I am so glad I chose to visit them and I am looking forward to being a patient with such an amazing team. Thank you

I've been going to Hudec Dental of North Royalton for several years now....and that alone should tell you what kind of experience you'll have if people are coming back. From the moment you walk in the door, to the cleaning, the exam and setting up the next appointment.....it's very pleasant, stress free, casual and they talk TO you not AT you. Everything is explained as it happens, so no surprises of what they are doing. And best of all they will work with you when it comes to setting appointments, explaining insurance claims and paying your bill. The staff is very professional but also very personable. Just a little side note....if you do need to get a shot in the mouth for a procedure....Dr. Kun is the man for the job. There's one fear I never worry about again!! We all know how hard it is to find a good dentist...well, I'm telling you....it's right here!!

I would highly recommend Hudec Dental in North Royalton. They constantly try to make you feel comfortable and make sure you understand your treatment fully. The most important thing is that they don't try to sell you treatments that you don't need like other national chain dentists. Their prices are reasonable while still providing top notch care.

I wrote these words to show the people who want to be a new patient of the Hudec Dental. Please don't believe the Google review, especially the reviews that only used serval words, like "EXCENLLENT, GOOD JOB", these reviews have nonsense. Please go to BBB to check the complaints to make a clear idea before you want to be a new patient of Hudec Dental. Most of the complaints for Hudec Dental in BBB were related to the service, seems like my situation, a nightmare. These complaints will tell you Hudec Dental has a culture problem for its service. The Hudec Dental only wants to collect much more money, not the good service for the patient. My wife and I had the appointment with Hudec Dental (13258 Ridge Rd, North Royalton, OH 44133) on Aug. 24, 2021. The lady, Gina, asked us to fill out many forms. Some forms were the documents that the Hudec Dental would use them to ask you pay more (it doesn't matter if you have insurance) and take all the responsibility. Please be careful when you are signing these forms. We waited more than one and half hours before we got the service. The service given us was only x-ray. Then the lady told us a patient didn't come, so they could give my wife the teeth clean. After 45min teeth clean, the lady asked us to pay by ourselves, not to make the claims to our insurance company. She told us because we signed the forms to pay the cost. We had to pay by my credit card and pleased her to make a claim to my insurance. She said she would. One week, two weeks, and three weeks after Aug. 24, I called the Hudec Dental again and again to ask the Hudec Dental to make the claim. But unfortunately, the Hudec dental didn't do it. I also called my insurance company to confirm this issue. Finally, I called Capital One to stop the money transition ($650.14) to force the Hudec Dental to make the claim. This action forced the Hudec Dental to make the claim very quick. My benefit statement showed the claim date was Sept. 13. On Oct. 8, the Hudec dental took the advantage of the signed forms to ask Capital One to release the $650.14, but didn't pay the credit back to my credit card account. Hudec Dental even didn't mail a bill to me before asking the release of the $650.14. Yesterday (Dec. 6, 2021) I called Capital One and my insurance company for help. Finally the Hudec Dental agreed to pay the $ 373 credit back to my credit card account. According to the benefit statements from my insurance company, I may pay $214.40 to Hudec Dental ( see the attached documents). The lady told the insurance company Hudex Dental would like to take back the discount that the Hudec Dental had given. So, the credit would not be the $435, it would be $373. From the responses of the Hudec Dental for the BBB complaints, you will see the Hudec Dental didn't care this issue. Each time my call was transferred back to the same lady in 13258 Ridge Road. North Royalton, OH 44133 when I called Hudec Dental in 6700 West Snowville Rd, Breckville, OH 44141. Hudec dental didn't treat this issue seriously. This is the reason the same situation happened again and again.

Dr. Kun and the staff at Hudec Dental treated this scaredy cat of dentists with sensitivity and kindness on my first visit for a cracked tooth! I appreciated the time Dr. Kun took to explain my ongoing treatment plan. I'm confident I will get my dental health back on track with the help of everyone at Hudec Dental!
